@Being Oneisha ok, once you cast and the fish has hooked on you see the prompt to push “A”, now you will see arrows going up, or right, or left…..follow the arrows to start reeling it in. If it starts to get into the orange or red…..stop until the bar goes down again.
I bought it last night on the switch after watching your streams. You can catch and release live butterflies in your house they'll just fly around and you can leave and come back and they'll still be there when you get back. It blew my mind. 🦋
What makes this game stand OUT from all the other farming games, is that you can create ANYTHING you can imagine in the workshop. I mean literally anything you can think of. People have made cars, trains, boats, elaborate beds and furniture, and make them whatever colors you want. This game is a real sleeper, not many people even know how much there is to do in this game. Its so awesome.
Loved the tip on carrying the storage cabinet and placing one in the workshop. I have been spending a lot of time running back to the storage pieces I got in the city that I placed in my home. I do feel that the city was the one thing AC was missing and I love that the things you download can be recreated in the workshop.
Definitely bought this under your influence lol. Been playing along while you stream and have been having a lot of fun! Just got farming and the clothier the other day, and am excited to see what else is in store! 🧡

keep playing Pat!! I unlocked 2 other NPCs last night. they have a mystery island with a rabbit in a tent who is collecting artifacts, he gives you a metal detector to help you find and dig up these things. there was also a random villager on the island that I invited to move in. I also met the farm NPC. there's so much to do, I hope you keep streaming your gameplay!

This seems to be a glitch and I don't know if they permanently stay but you can release butterflies inside buildings and they'll fly about the place. They get stuck on objects often but if you want a pet....lol. I genuinely think AC should learn and improve upon Hokko's DIY furniture system. It's a really good idea to let the players share their creations and it would probably lessen the workload on the developers themselves. People are put off by Hokko but I think it's a very charming game with good ideas.

I think this is helpful. I definitely could have used some while playing. (I took tips from your first stream but was ahead on the 2nd so endede up doing on my own). My tips would be: You can build houses on that cliff by the mines, the farm area, and on the green parts with the beach, that is so cool! Collect so much stuff in the mines, because you will need it to get deeper. Build more storage closets help give more space too

omg i started carrying around a set of drawers today! only on my 7th in game day and was getting frustrated at the lack of space. realized the drawers keep the invo even when picked up. total game changer, it's like chester in don't starve lol

Played for more than 60 hours and in 10 days have it and love it 😀 only thing don't really sell there stuff craft stuff and sell it also gets u more money. The shop sells a suitcases, is a storage, buy alot and place them around the town so u have lots of storage. If u built a book shelf you have storage, is better than the other ones looks nicer in the house, after had a lot of materials demolished my house, has to be empty if not u will loose all the stuff. Than I built a nicer house in a new place, after unlocked all the areas.
Had no clue about the inn! Glad I saw this now while I'm only 2 weeks in, cuz otherwise I'd probably go over a month without even knowing I'm supposed to go there!

I wish the user created items you had to pay in game for (it could become income for those who like to create). I feel it would be far. You could cap the prices but I would want to compensate others for all work,
I wish when you unlock a merit it would show you a quick "how to use" or even when in the Mayor Merit tab and you press "Y" to show details it would state "how to use it" or whatever extra details it may have...Also I need more creator codes... >_>

I think my game is crazy glitchy- I was able to get up onto the second level and mine before I got the fishing rod or stairs. But my furniture creator thing is ALL messed up.
How did you get a map?? I’m on console, have completed a lot of merit badges etc. Still no map? Edited to add: another tip - in the mines if you don’t have enough lamps, pick one up and place it ahead of your character (sometimes you can run forward with your character whilst moving the lamp). I cleared the whole first parts of the mines with 1 lamp because I forgot to make more.
I'm still trying to figure out how to buy/make a cupboard. I have stolen 2 x dressers from neighbours -which was super helpful, but now they are both FILLED with resources.... how far in does Sally give you the blueprints for storage/cupboards?? Thanks.

Kinda late to hokko life. Great Tipps for beginners! I find it super funny, that people find the animals creepy... I am autistic and adore them and love that they are not as expressive as in other games 😄
Been loving the game but has anyone had an issue with the merit system not working? For example I've been trying to expand my inventory and I checked that you only need to complete 5 quests. At that point I was sure I had done more than that but it said I had only done 4 so I thought I would just go ahead and do another one just to get the merit. A dozen different requests down and the damn thing still says I've only done 4! Nothing works to trigger it! I've tried everything. Has anyone else had this problem?

I received the letter about the train long before day 20, but I somehow decided to not go to the train station immediately and here I’m finally trying to access to the city on day 19. However the train station tells me [no destination available] …. The ticket just won’t show up 😭😭 anyone had the same problem and found a solution??😢
Yes! Happened to me too. It’s a known bug. To fix it just completely close out your game and restart it. Worked for me and I think Pat too during a stream.

Happened to me. You have to keep playing around with it. It’s kind of buggy/picky. I rotated it a couple times then it finally switched from red to white and let me place it.
Have been really enjoying this game BUT now there's a bug that tells you that there's a connection error. I can't download free creator items or save any of my designs, which I need to do to complete a merit task to unlock more items. As of 10/13 they posted that they're working on it so now all I can do is grind for coin because I need the merit to progress. ☹️ And I did check and my internet connection is fine. Hope they fix it soon
To solve this issue you actually has to closed the game and restart the game to use the train (to go to creator shop town), it’s annoying that every time I want to use the train I have to restart again 😂 but it is the bug on the switch apparently. Would be nice if the developer fix it ofcourse

The cupboard is similar to the shed.. I don't think I can sell my villagers things, I will feel bad
You missed the most important tip. Don't remove tree stumps. Stumps regrow into trees after 2 days.

You can use the nightstand in the inn to store items. This is great for early game storage. I think you can also use a villagers storage.

To solve this issue you actually has to closed the game and restart the game to use the train (to go to creator shop town), it’s annoying that every time I want to use the train I have to restart again 😂 but it is the bug on the switch apparently. Would be nice if the developer fix it ofcourse
