this is a wonderful review and covered every question I had! also, ur slaying that bucket hat in the intro omg! and I love Wendy just vibing in the back
Another disadvantage you’ve didn’t mention is that this game also has very little storage space. Animal Crossing on the GameCube had 3 spaces per dresser/wardrobe. Hokko Life came out in 2022 and by that time most cozy sim games have hundreds and New Horizons have close to 5,000 spaces. Bottom line is the storage is so insufficient for a game like this which involves collecting alot of things.
Great review 🥰 Definitely something to think about. I've been wanting to but have enough to play right now 😂 Might have to get it for Christmas on my Mac instead of the switch once all the bugs are sorted out.
I"m still playing it even with all the bugs all these weeks later. For me ; the villagers look like some child's soft animals that they are playing with. Maybe the kid who falls asleep on the train is dreaming. I'd recommend it for people who don't mind playing slowly and being patient.
I just got this game today at Gamestop for free on Switch as part of their Buy 1 Get 1 Free deal! It's a bit slower paced and has a lot of Story of Seasons elements but for a first attempt of a game I'm liking it so far. If they did make a sequel I would buy it and hopefully they properly fund it too!
currently shopping this game on the PS5. debating between this, my time in Portia, or grow song of the Everlast tree. as far as the load screen times I wonder how the PS5 is going to handle this because generally load times are lightning fast on that console. as far as the difficulty in creating items I'm kind of used to that, it's the same with dreamlight valley. I watch videos on creation, people on PC make it look super easy but it's a little difficult on the console.
I liked it at first but now wished I never got it. Wylde Flowers and Cozy Grove to me have much more to offer. But some games are not for everyone and that’s ok but for me it ended up not being worth it to me. It wasn’t the designing that left me feeling that way, it was other things as well.
🧑🏽🦳🎮☕️ Hokko Life maybe similar, but unless you’re planning on steam console or SteamDeck you will never get: 1. Sprinklers 2. Updated watering can 3. House expansion & 4. Shrine’s travel portal. Sooo unless you have $1000 to $13,299.95 to buy a steam console or a SteamDeck, I would suggest buying the Nintendo switch console & buy these games: Stardew Valley, friends of mineral town, pioneers of olive town, light of hope Doraemon to name a few. Laetittia 🧑🏽🦳☕️🎮

My favourite character on Hokko Life is Patches, Patches is one of the sweetest characters I've encountered

why do you say that? How many hours did it take you to change your mind?
My new favorite game
Wait... so you said you would share all the positives but only some of the negatives? This seems biased. LOL
