What about how to maintain your cars computer system, electrical system and AC system for example the ECU, airflow/position sensors, fuses, and AC compressor?
There's a lot of controversy about changing ATF or not at all. It seems the consensus is that, if you plan to change it, do so about every 60K miles - or don't change it at all. Also, consensus seems to be do NOT flush the trans. A family member has an F-150 with 440,000 miles, and the ATF has never been changed. It still shifts normally. Also, check tire pressures cold. As far as engine oil, I would never exceed 5000 miles. No engine ever suffered from too-frequent oil and filter changes. It's cheap insurance.
No No No , don’t do any maintenance . Drive the vehicle till it quits then complain that cars are no good anymore ! But buy a new $1,000 phone every year !…….. Bahahahahahaha !
I change my oil every 3000 miles, and automatic transmission fluid at 30,000. I dont change brake fluid except when doing brake service as its not a humid climate where hygroscopic contamination is as much of an issue. I dont recommend it to customers in the high plains where I work. I have customer who bought a car when it was 2 years old, and religiously changes the oil....every 3000 miles. Despite being one of Fords worst engines...a 351 M.....his car is still running on the original engine.....at 386,000 documented miles with two timing chain kit replacements. The 5 digit odometer has turned over 3 times in 47 years. THAT is what lubrication maintenance will do for you.
Could you write a Manual for this and I will buy. If not please recommend a Maintenance Manual DIY. All Car owners dont know must except engine oil and fuel.
LOL Customers come in because brakes are making a "noise' They are metal on metal and time for new pads and rotors or shoes and drums, along with the occasional caliper or wheel cylinders. Probably have the radio up too loud to hear most sounds.
I've been driving since 1968 and have never let anyone else change my oil or touch my brakes. The oil is your car's lifeblood and the brakes protect your family's life.
@@johnchandler1687👍 and you know that it was done correctly with the correct oil and filter. You must have saved a lot of money. I just serviced my Mercedes more thoroughly than Mercedes would do and will never get ripped off again at the dealership.2 years ago I was charged €1300 just for a B service.
Differential and Transfer case(AWD/4WD) oils too
love how this was explain. it gave me a headache just thinking about the car
Great video. Keep up with the good work.
Thanks, will do!

I check my tire pressure every week and do a circle check around the vehicle, so there aren't any leaks or bulbs burnt out.
Thanks for sharing your routine! It's important to stay on top of vehicle maintenance!
Especially now, when owners are keeping them longer since the price of vehicles has (still) gone through the roof.

Ppppp0p0000p))
This is car ownership 101. Thanks.
Oil change and transmission fluid change. Brake fluid change every 3 years. Hydraulic power steering fluid change. Coolant change every 100,000km.

what about manual transmissions? (interval)
Good advices.
Thanks for watching!
Never changed brake fluid in my life
/and some people have never brushed their teeth and are also proud of it too!
My Lexus is350 has 170,000 miles. Is it true I shouldn't change the fluid? I don't think it has ever been changed.
Transmission
You replace oil every 3,000 miles or 3 months depending.
overkill
5000-7000 miles or 12 months
Brake maintenance
Americans avoid 'using' Brakes. They don't wear as much that way. 🇦🇺
