I remember the 'Quality' period of BR. Performance Through Quality,QualityThrough People,Organising For Quality,Quality Managers and Quality Leaders. It was everywhere and the majority of the staff considered it a load of old bollocks. The management loved it though. Did it change things? Well some things got a lick of paint to tick that quality box and occasionally we'd get a day off to go on a course but an awful lot stayed the same.
