    Thanks for these 2 videos. It takes a lot of I terest and even love for this subject, to make videos with this detail and know how quality. As I said on another comments, only today I came across your videos, but I am very happy I have found them. Lots of stuff for me to learn, and in many cases, I will use your teachings. And maybe one day, I will have this self confidence as you do. Unfortunately where I live, there are not many places to get parts, fair prices, a good legislation, and interesting people to talk about these things. But I will go around the first part, and find ways to make at least some parts, and adapt other materials, and stuff to use in replica gun repairing, up grades, modifications etc. Thank you again for all your sharings.

      Thanks! I never intended to start a channel, however everything I’ve shown on the channel is pretty much documenting what I get up to messing around with airsoft guns, and I’m very glad that some of what I’ve shown can inspire someone like yourself into fixing their own airsoft gun :)

      @@Gasblowbackairsoftt Well, I am honestly very much happy since I've founded your channel yesterday!! Even yesterday, I watched many of your videos, and tonight I will watch some more. If if it was only for your way of explaining in your way and plain english, with out stupid sounds/''musics'' etc, it would be already a great channel...

    Did this spring change myself a couple days ago on the VFC HK416a5 and replaced with a small-ish spring from (I think) a pen, worked and cycled in semi, though it only lasts about a mag's worth of shots before crapping out again.
    Opened up the lower again to see the spring has been crushed and laying horizontal, not sure why it keeps doing that! Have you had to change the spring again after posting this? I really want this rifle to be reliable, but this one thing stops it from functioning completely, and conical/small enough springs are really hard to come by apparently!
    Part of me thinks it could be spring tension, another part the gas being used is just too much for the spring. Any advice on fixing this or remedying would be really appreciated!

      So I didn’t have this happen again thankfully, however I did use a stronger spring than what was fitted, and I believe it needs to be an exact size to prevent it from moving during cycling.
      Unfortunately it seems to be a flawed design. Obviously fixed with the v3 upgrade.

      @@Gasblowbackairsoftt Yeah at this point I'm thinking of completely converting to the V3 internals, if I get it fixed I don't want it happening again and would rather have a reliable rifle over one that eats springs! I feel it's going to be quite a faf trying to find a spring that fits exactly, and lasts longer than a magazine, and I like my pistols and don't want to be sacrificing them!
      It's also the case of if it happens again and I had to move mountains to find a spring, I may aswell have just bought the internals.

      @@logans2092 it seems to be a qc issue imo, some people go years with no issue, and others have nothing but problems. My v2 hk416d has been no issue whatsoever, whereas this one was more of an issue.

      @@Gasblowbackairsoftt Yeah it's really annoying that some are just lemons, especially at how reputable the platform actually is. I ended up giving in and ordering the ESD reinforced set, just because I don't want it to really happen again! From what I've seen, people have had good experiences with it, as it is one whole part instead of pieces.

      @@logans2092 yes i believe that semi replicates the v3 system, so that should be a lot more reliable, I’d be interested to see how you get on with installing and performance 👍

    so i own vfc v2? what happen if i replace valve knocker & bolt carrier v3? would it fit and work on v2?

    • @Gasblowbackairsoftt
      @Gasblowbackairsoftt  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I have heard of people converting to v3 spec, however I can’t confirm or deny that those components would be 100% compatible unfortunately, however, I’m fairly sure the bolt carrier I got was for the v3 system, so that should work with very little (if any) modification
