Absolutely brilliant!!! I can see using all of them as a grouping on a wall. They would all coordinate together, but yet be different. Genius! Thanks for sharing such a wonderful idea. Denise ❤
What an awesome idea. Love it.. but I think all of them would look better with no mat edging them out. Just the frame less frames would look perfect for them. They would seem to flow into each other better if hung together. Great job ! Great video! Have a great weekend.
Excellent idea with using the lining paper, i don't know why i never thought of that ! Great colours again. I'm loving this alternative series . Keep it up ❤
Gorgeous result Mark... I love the process and I really appreciate the time and effort you put into your videos ❤ I can't wait to try this, thank you 😀
Always wonderful ideas. Watched my neighbor toss out loads of blank canvases and all I could think of was what idea are you going to come up with so I can use them. You always make beautiful things❤❤❤❤ thanks for sharing your lovely creations.
I just love the colors. Very easy looking techniques with beautiful results.. Very Nice Mark you are so creative 👏😊 looks like the poles of the fishing pier/docks with the swirling waves.
OMG Mark, this is such a great idea. You never cease to amaze me my friend. Love this concept and the final design is simply beautiful. Thanks for sharing . I have to try the sqeegee technique . I looks so much fun . Hugzzzz & Kisses to Shaun and you 🥰🥰😘😘❤❤
Mark! Love it!! This has sparked my imagination!! Going to try my own version. Just love your channel and watching you grow and you being so gracious with your time. ❤ Happy day!
Hola Marck .Están preciosos , y los pequeños se ven geniales, esta nueva fase de pintura me encanta. La veo relajante y armoniosa, ojalá se me ocurrieran a mi estas ideas😂. Un cordial saludo
I really like this. ❤ I noticed u used straight paint no mixing. The color is brilliant 👏Whats funny is when u started framing u picked the spot I liked.
Very cool concept I liked it also as two separate paintings thought it would look good embellished with gold leaf. I see a lot of this art in doctors, offices, hospitals, and hotels it really does sell.
Yet again Mark, another exceptional video 🌟 this is so inspiring as you created so many different types of style's 👏👏👏♥️this has helped as I have several sheet's of canvas I'd no idea how to use them 👌🇦🇺
@@MarkJRatcliffeArt I don’t think that they do that here before wallpapering. Will have to do some research to find it. What was your original size and what size frames did you use? It’s brilliant!

I really enjoyed your video Mark. What type of paper did you use? Also, what type of big paint brush did you use.
Thank you - it’s lining paper (before you wall paper) and it’s just a standard brush nothing special 👍🏻

The blues are so nice. I have a dark office and this would make a wonderful full size window pane to brighten things up a bit.
That's a great idea! Thanks for your kind words
Very cool concept I liked it also as two separate paintings thought it would look good embellished with gold leaf. I see a lot of this art in doctors, offices, hospitals, and hotels it really does sell.
Thank you so much. Yes I did think about gold leaf but I’m filming a series at the moment just on embellishment so will defo show some of that too

Absolutely love this. Never heard of lining paper, where did you get that ?
Think I found some on amazon , it’s unpasted heavy duty, is that ok ? I have to try this
That’s it! I get it from hardware shops - it’s great if you want to frame some pieces. Have fun 🤩
@@MarkJRatcliffeArtthank you so much Mark
Will have to try this
Yes! You should.., have fun 🤩
I love your paintings Mark they remind me of breakwaters on the beach . I have noticed that you do not use much green aren't you keen on green?
Thank you so much. You can’t have seen any of my green creations? It’s sunny as green is my all time favourite colour 💚
❤❤❤😊😊😊😊
🤩🤩🤩
This was so cool 😮. What kind of paper did you use? I’m new to creating art.
Thank you 🙏 This is Lining Paper that would go on a wall before wallpaper
What kind of paper did you use? Love your idea it really works well!
Thank you. This is called Lining Paper. Normally used before applying wall paper to walls.
Love it Mark! I love how it came out so nice. I would love to try that. What grade of lining paper did you use?
Thank you - I don’t have the label still but it was a thick paper
@@MarkJRatcliffeArtI was not sure witch because there is 3 different grade. 😀Thank you Mark.
Love it, looks brilliant. Have a question when you are pulling the squeegie, do you exert pressue or just gently move it?
Thank you. A fair bit of pressure so you can drag the paint along with you but not too much where you don’t leave any behind
@@MarkJRatcliffeArt million thanks , l thought so too but wasn't sure. love your work. very inspiring. 🙏
👏👏👏👏👏👏🤩
🤩🤩🤩
What paper are you using please? .... great tutorial by the way :)
Thank you. This is lining paper - used before wall papering
Beautiful!! What is lining paper? I am in Australia 🇦🇺
Hey 👋 it’s paper that is hung before wall paper
@MarkJRatcliffeArt Thank you soooo much for such a quick reply. I have only just come across your channel, and I am loving your work, and I love the way you explain things and share your talent with us!!
Why did it not warp? Or crack in the thicker spots?
Hi Chrissie… I used lining paper (it’s thicker and allows some absorption. why would it crack?
@@MarkJRatcliffeArt some spots looked thicker than others
What size are you cutting those Mark and what was the original size of the paper?
Hi Kathy. I’m cutting them to 8x10 inches. The original paper was a roll of paper but I was working with in an area of approximately 20x40 inch
@@MarkJRatcliffeArt Thx Mark! I did find some on Amazon.
