MAGICAL 🟣 Base Technique - Liquid Puddles + Finger Swipes / Abstract Acrylic Art Painting

- Today I am using two colors that will be blown into each other for a base color, and will then be puddling pinks on top and blow the colors across the canvas. I'm using 3 puddles this time and then finger swiping to connect them.

▶ Technique: Dutch Pour & Finger Swipes
▶ Canvas size: 20x24 inch
▶ Pouring Medium formula: My paints are mixed with Owatrol (Floetrol) with a ratio of paint to pouring medium of 1:3. I also add 1 part water into this to allow free-flow movement so its 1:1:3 Paint:Water:Pouring Medium.
▶ Color Palette:
Amsterdam: Light Rose, Venetian Rose
Pebeo: Iridescent Violet Blue
Winsor & Newton (Base Colors) Permanent Magenta & Winsor Violet
▶ Hair dryer: Remington D3010 and always use the cool setting

OMG Mark !!! This color palette is gorgeous. 🎉 I love the back grown color. When the piece is dry the dark backgrown brings out the superb puddle in the foreground. 👍 It almost looks like a 3D painting. 🥰 I love the swipe finger and I love this technique that you've done a few times. OMG Mark, this piece is theeee master piece. It's absolutely stunning. I love how dark the base got after it dried. The finger swipes make such a difference.

This piece is stunning! I love that the violet dried darker because it makes everything pop.I'm going to have to try doing this 'cause I really love it. Question: when you paint your sides, do you use the paint from the tube or do you add a pouring medium to the paint? When I paint my sides I can never get an even color. Thanks Mark.
