Hi everyone!! Thanks for watching! The first 100 people to use my promo code CHLOEROSE40 will get 40% off their first order of Hungryroot at bit.ly/3IIPauN
Hi, I just wanted you to know that I subscribed to HungryRoot after using your code, and have been extremely disappointed by them. At first glance, they look amazing, but all the boxes I've gotten have come damaged or spoiled. I realize this isn't your fault and am no way saying it is, but I thought you should be aware of their problems. I've emailed their customer support but haven't gotten a response yet. I would love to continue to support you in some other way... maybe I'll buy your brushes, haha. Anyway, keep up the amazing work, I love your channel.
We did enjoy watching, though we will admit our fun was punctuated with brief flashes of anxiety! We think the excess paint could be harvested from the squeegee with a palette knife and saved to make what we'll call a "nondescript warm neutral" (AKA mud) for toning canvases and wherever a low-intensity hue is needed. We wonder if a slightly moist gesso-primed surface would yield smoother results? A squeegee is a really useful tool for any studio, even if you're not doing this fun technique- it can be used for quickly priming canvas with diluted oil or acrylic grounds, and a dry, clean squeegee is great for smoothing out canvas applied to panel (along with a hard rubber roller). Thanks for another terrific video!
@@ChloeRoseArt In my acrylic paint pouring I do a similar thing of salvaging the paint. It can be used as a base coat. Or if you have really fun colors can dip cabochons in the excess to make fun abstract pieces. Can be put on magnets or jewelry

It looks really difficult, honestly! When I saw Jazza do it, it seemed difficult but I appreciate you showing more detail into the learning process. It's really encouraging to see the learning curve as well as the finished product!
Being someone with pretty bad impostor syndrome and too harsh of a self critique, I appreciate hugely that you show the whole process of trying something new ❤
So funny that everyone this year got internet diagnosed with the same thing! One of the symptoms must be the need to express it online to everyone they meet 😂 we need to stop handing mental health badges out to everyone
@@kateapple1 So funny that you think you know anything about me and where I got diagnosed at. I feel like you getting butt hurt about other peoples diagnoses tells more about ur mental health badge than anyone elses.
Trial and error is definitely the best way to get to grips with these kinds of techniques - and I like that you share that, because part of the fun is in figuring it all out by getting stuff wrong (and in going through the frustrating bits! ☺️). And I reckon that purple paint has it’s own agenda… 😂
I got a medical diagnosis today that was not life ending but certainly will definitely be difficult to deal with. I was feeling really down before I turned on your video, but watching you really cheered me right up Chloe. So, thank you for getting me out of the doldrums. I loved that squeegy style of art. It's so expressive and you got some beautiful results! Thank you for being the reason I smiled today. God bless you and all those you love.
I’m so sorry to hear that you are going through a tough time with your health :( I’m glad that my video could help even if only for a short time! Thank you for such a lovely comment and I’m wishing you all the best with your health and situation right now ✨
Thank you Chloe for your lovely message. I just want you to know that your videos always manage to make me smile, no matter how Ill or sore I feel. You are such a bright and bubbly person and I find your content really interesting and fun, plus your videos are very well made and your art is always beautiful. Thank you again for being kind enough to reply to me. I know you are a busy person. God bless you and all those you love. Have a lovely weekend!
Thank you SO much for being honest about this being much harder than it looks in most of the squeegee art videos! Like all techniques, practice is all.
*CHLOE* This video exemplifies why we all love your videos. Firstly, your very, very funny, you don't take yourself too seriously, you include your mistakes and errors in the videos, you get things wrong (like we all do), and you tell it like it is and are honest about the products, art materials, services and companies whose products you use. But lastly (and I say this with love) your completely bonkers ! Thanks for another hilarious and great video.
The squeezy bottles and their more controlled little blobs look so satisfying to do. I thought the flower was a cloud at first, but those last few turned out particularly well. The simpler ones were good, gotta start and practise somewhere.
Chloe! It was so amazimg to see the trial and error and the whole step by step journey you took into learning this technique! And you did a good job! Keep it up!
Not to be "that person" but the front bits of the asparagus are edible, they are in fact the best part of it 😅 But thank you sooo much for trying this out because I have been seeing this videos all over the place and never really thought that they were actually "real" 😂😂
Love seeing the whole process of experimenting and researching and improving! I also have the tendency to try out new techniques just making it up as I go along and then wonder why it's not working as well as other people's... But when you only see other people's finished work, not all the practice and experimentation behind it it can be hard to see how they got there
Thank you so much for showing the mistakes in the process. You’re so right, too many people edit their content to show their perfect lives and all it does it make others feel bad. Thank you for being honest❤
Hullo Chloe, Once again you are better than the others at showing us how it is done! Really done! You are truly inspirational and such a breath of fresh air. I truly enjoy watching your videos and seeing just how you create your artworks, thank you. I thought you were awesome and I liked the Mickey Mouse picture more than any of the other pieces, however I believe each has a real feeling to them! It is you coming through this manner of working. Thank you for sharing this technique and I look forward to watching your next video. See ya then!
There are 3 reasons why I love this vid 1. You were like I am bad at this but I can not even attempt to do this 2. How you add something to go with your sponsor 3. How funny you make everything 😂
I love that you didn't just try it once and give up. It does look fun, although I don't know if I will be trying it any time soon. My failure threshold before angst is pretty low. lol
This looks so fun, I've been tempted to try it on my channel as well. I love the way your abstract ones came out, honestly your first one is one of my favorites! ❤
I’ve seen some videos of these too, and it does look interesting to try. I think we have a squeegee somewhere as I bought one for picking up pet hair after seeing it used for that. I like that you show your mistakes and trial and error. I often make mistakes and/or am overly critical of my work so definitely find it relatable when someone who has more experience/is more advanced than me makes mistakes and struggles at times. After all, nobody’s perfect and some things do take longer for some people to learn.
I am NEVER DOING THIS. That last one was amazing and you have my undying admiration as always, but I don't think my psyche could withstand this much failure and I know for a fact they won't let me have my coloured pencils in the mental hospital (pointy).
Watching this video I thought 1-"oh this looks fun!! :D" And then 2- "Aaah girl, put on some gloves!! Your manicure😢!!!" But I may try this looks fun if a bit measly lol
I clicked on this video and was thinking you were going to put little rainbow dots across the blade of the squeegee and do a rainbow but you still didn't disappoint
Aww Stitch is one of my non human Disney characters, Eeyore is my other favourite. (Rapunzel is my favourite Disney princess along with Merida)... Thank you for trying this. I loved seeing the process, not just a successful one where it was edited into perfection.

Such a hard thing to do but looks so easy. I’ve tried it and failed. All that extra paint I used for backgrounds for a junk journal or made paint pages that u later turned into different designs and cutouts.
the trick is to do with the way you wanted to end up and just cover with paint the color you put down first or stay the color put on 2ed will be wiped away
this looked hard actually. Not gonna lie, I thought to myself "I can do that" whenever i saw those videos before... but i am not going to try and attempt anytime soon after watching this! might be messier than paint pour

It would work great for that! I thought that too!
I love your channel because of how you always show the whole process, even the “bad” and the ugly part of the learning process.
I love this technique, I’ve used it a few times to do abstract backgrounds and then do a portrait on top.
Great idea!!

It kind of reminds me of those pancake art videos. They layer the pancake mix and when they flip it over, voila!

What about going back in with a posca or fine liner to outline some of the pieces when they've dried? Especially stitch 💙
I thought about it after!! You could definitely make something look really cool that way 🙌

I love this! Pac Man and Mickey were my faves! I’ve seen a few others try this and it just seems so hard to grasp, but you did great!!!
My 13 yr old, Katy, is trying this now! 😂 Ty for the idea and for making fun videos that inspire my teen artist! ❤❤❤
Thanks for showing us the whole process! Beauty comes through struggle 🌻
i think you should do the kinda reverse coloring book thing it would be rlly cool

You know, even the "failures" would make awesome starting points for a new painting, or awesome collage paper! Looks like fun :D
Really fun to watch this learning process!
I think you have to do one page at a time so you can squeegee it right off the page onto the table and then clean that up. Fun video!
Hiii Chloe! Could you please do a video reviewing your art supplies. Love your videos by the way, wish you the best😊❤️
I would totally wear a hoodie with that mickey mouse print on it! 😮 Abstract, yet amazing.
