Thank you for being one of the only reviewers to call it a front light and not a back light. It seems like so many people can't seem to grasp the difference. Great content. Great review!
I had the RM2 and upgraded. Primary use is writing. The addition of color enhances my writing experience. The backlight is great for use in darkness. Worth it to me.
I bought a rM2 2 weeks ago after watching tens of reviews and opinions on the rMPP. I'm honestly happy with it so far, and I really don't think the advantages of the rMPP are that noticeable to justify the extra cost. Still, your review was, well, remarkable!
I really think most people just wanted a RM2 with better processor and front light to be honest I love my RMPP, but I think there are quirks with it that make it feel like a side step and a different product than the successor to the RM2. I didn't think I needed color, and within a week the color options became very useful in my grad school notes. I like the writing feel, but not having 3rd party stylus options or nibs really feels like a step back to me, especially since the new nibs seem to wear down faster than my old ones, and the wider nib changes my accuracy when writing a bit.
I’ve had my RPP sitting at home the last month while I’ve been travelling. Thanks for the nudge to use it! I don’t use it to draw, but I just love being able to write in colour to give me a bit more of a visual pop while being more convenient than travelling with fountain pens and ink!
An electrician friend of mine just bought one, which is why I’m checking it out. It looks like a good product to me and the price seems very reasonable compared to an iPad.

Brandon, Great review, been waiting on what you thought. I have to say my use case makes the RMPP perfect for me. I teach from hand written notes using color highlights to keep me focused on where I am at while teaching. Each color highlight means something to me. I was using the RM2 previously and would use the different color pens and highlights while preparing my lesson but would of course have to print out those lessons in color to teach from. This made the RMPP exactly what i had been looking for since going to E-ink devices. IF one does not need color and primarily uses the RM2 for note taking then I don't see the need to upgrade, but this finally puts at end to my quest of looking for the perfect tablet to teach from. I love the new stylus. I tried to write with a "light hand" on the RM2 but was constantly wearing down the nibs. Not so with this one. As far as the gray screen, that doesn't bother me at all. I am 70 years old and it reminds me of the days of "newspapers" which were grayish in color. Some might say, well why don't you just use real paper, and color pens and to that argument, I used to and was constantly having to change as "thoughts" changed or mistakes in writing had to marked out. Often my finished lesson was a mess. I love being able to "double tap" to erase a mistake, and or "triple tap" to put it back. Also can move the text I have already written to add something or put it in a new place. I have finaly quit my search for the perfect device and I have had several of them. Thanks again for your review of this. I am sure it will help many decide on which device is best for them.
Nice summary and a succinct take on what this device is :) I just can't get over how much that screen size fits so perfectly for both writing and reading. After testing the RmPP I am now back on my Go 10.3, and it just keeps feeling small, and the Tab X is too big... I'm waiting patiently for the Supernote A5X2 (if it ever comes out at this point?), because basically that sounds like the device that I am looking for. If it would only come out already so that we can see if it delivers or not :) Great job on this one Brandon! :)

Great review, thank you😊 I have had an RM2 for about 18 months now, and for the most part, I have loved it. I use it predominantly for client interviews and just keeping all my notes together in an easy to find system. The things missing for me was the backlight and also the ability to see different colours, but that one wasn't a deal breaker for me. I mentioned last week to my wife that a new one had come out with those features, just a throwaway comment really, but she took it as something I really wanted and went and ordered it for my Birthday this week😂 It is yet to turn up, but I am interested to see what it is like. After watching your review, I am not 100% convinced that I need it? You mentioned the RM3 coming out next year. Do you know much about it? Is it likely to be a faster, more refined version of the RM2 with a backlight? Because that could be just what I need...

I thought I'd get this, but ReMarkable is brutal on UK customers. Even without the folio and premium pen, the Paper Pro alone costs £559 ($725). I considered waiting for the 2024 Scribe too but your review on the quality and size of the Supernote A6 X2 Nomad really appealed to me. Price is much more in line with what I was willing to pay too - HoM pen and folio included. £460 ($597)
Yeh, the price hike for the UK really steered me away from purchasing any Remarkable products. The Supernote A6 X2 Nomad does look interesting and more reasonable when it comes to cost, but at that price point it still is a big investment. Then there is the screen size to consider as it is a lot smaller.
Hey Brandon, glad I came across your videos! As someone who has never had one of these devices, would like to ask your 0.2 on which one you recommend. Primary use would be to take with me when I see patients in the clinic as a scribble sheet for that visit to move away from paper waste. Other uses would be to journal. Aside from those two uses, I don’t see what else I would use it for-calendar is on my phone, dont typically take meeting notes, and wouldn’t use it as a planner. Any insight would be so helpful as I try to find the best option!
Another excellent video Brandon. I agree on the upgrade factor to consider from a rM2 or interest in reMarkable. The bigger size, color, and future specs is what contributed to my decision to add to my rM2 to handle my complex math problems and show my steps via the color differences with more space. Of course I’m keeping my rM2 as I was a preorder customer back in 2020 and my rM2 is just fine, works great and no major issues. I haven’t had any issues yet traveling to the office with my rMPP but I haven’t had to travel with in on the plane yet, which is one of the reasons I’m glad I can sync them together in case I want to travel with my rM2 instead due to the better portability potential. Outside of that I have a Supernote A6X2, nomad for using at the gym to track my workouts and for small conferences. So far, I haven’t put my rMPP down since receiving it.
The syncing between the two is surprisingly good. If I lock one the changes show instantly on the other. I didn’t mention it in the video because it felt so niche, but is well executed
Thank you for the great review. Really spot on and very informative. A question on the click sound that happens upon pen to surface contact, is it like a mouse click? This is how I heard it. Would not that be annoying for people around me, in case I am working in an office with open space. I am a remarkable 2 user for 4 years and I use it for product abstracts and sometimes designs.
I returned my Remarkable yesterday. I’m coming from the BOOX Tab X. I love the 13.3” (A4 size) feel of carrying around an actual piece of paper. But it’s outdated as it can only be updated to android 11. So Remarkable was the closest size of the newer tablets to the A4 in color…but I was quickly disappointed days after I unpacked it. It’s just to distracting and the vibe of just writing on a piece of paper is quickly lost. Not to mention the closed ecosystem. I use my NAS to sync on my BOOX. I had no idea the Remarkable was so limited in this area. Turns out I’m definitely a BOOX user
for me it has got me back to using my RM2 way more, as if having that dual screen set up and paired with your laptop or phone now I can have a PDF open and file out notes or documents on the other device, for me my pro is more that at the desk device and the RM2 is the on the go device, the case on the pro is amazing, would be a great addition for a RM2 version,
I love my remarkable 2. I use it a lot for school and would love the color and bigger screen but I don't want to spend the money for an upgrade. I will wait on the 3 and see what that offers.
As a product owner / COO (often mixing roles) at a startup this device is compelling, especially the versatility and ease of just getting to the paper and start writing. That’s my only gripe with the iPad, it’s distracting to have several options in front of you. PS “Playlist” looks really cool, I’ve signed up. E
Great review! I’m thinking of getting it in the spring, I have a RM2 which I love but I’d like a colour screen, bigger screen and front light so I’d like to pick the paper pro up
@@BrandonKBoswell I like it :) The way I see it Rm has made what they think is best for everyone. The hack is just a setting Rm has set to "no" I have set it to "yes" and can turn it on and off with systemclt. The setting is "linear_mapping"
My son does advance math. He is looking for the best option to get away from stacks of notebook paper and a better way to organize the equations to reference later. Could the Remarkable pro handle math equations?
I love my remarkable 2, and I don’t *need* color, but the one thing about r2 that’s killing me is needing to add light to use it. And a LOT of light. I think I’m going to buy the new one (ouch on the price 😳) because a lit screen is worth it for me. And yes, I have an iPad, but once you’ve really experienced the Remarkable, there’s no comparison for writing on paper.
Is there way to share what your drawing to another monitor by Wifi or do I need Boox 3c , 4c running Aandroid using Chromecast ? I want a device that I can sketch with a patient and project to a TV or monitor in my treatment room ? Thanks for your help.
Great review. Thank you! I tried rM2 recently, and really loved it except for losing a page from several notebooks. It also felt fragile to me. I love the idea of having a color e-ink tablet, though! I think e-ink technology is in its infancy, so I opted to purchase the least expensive e-ink device that I tried (Kindle Scribe on sale) and will save my money for the future. I love the writing feel of the Scribe, as well as the warm backlight, and the ability to send searchable pdfs of my notes by email. I would love to have a fully functioning e-ink laptop that could do everything my Chromebook can do, but without the glare.
Thanks for your video Brandon! I first heard about reMarkable back in 2023. I don't have any of their devices but I'm thinking about getting one for personal and professional work. Would anyone recommend getting the RM 2 or the Paper Pro for someone who has never owned any reMarkable devices? Or should I just wait for the RM 3 to possibly to be released in 2025?
Question 🙋🏻, (I apologize it’s a bit long) I have a Scribe on which I have tons of notes, marked papers and thesis revisions, but it started to feel a bit small for the common sheet size I usually read and the content on the papers (graphs mainly) are colour coded, I even sometimes forget that certain graphs have colour, just realize when viewing them on a computer. I’m on the fence of getting the Remarkable, but the thing that stops me is the lower resolution of the remarkable vs. the scribe, haven’t seen anyone talking about it, also, when exporting the handwritten notes, do they look as bad as on the scribe? Thanks!!
Brandon, I am a terrible speller and have lousy penmanship. (Grammarly saves me) I take notes daily with clients and usually use pen and paper. Do you have any thoughts if it would work for me?
I hadn’t seen that yet. I’m willing to try out some hacks. (I ran DDVK up until software v3), but I am just fine with the front light level for my use cases.
Ugh, it’s so tempting! I love the remarkable 2 to manage all my knitting patterns and the colors are such a nice touch, but do I really need it for what I use it for? Noooooo. I also like the smaller size of the remarkable 2. I know some people like that it’s bigger, but I like that the remarkable 2 fits nicely in my knitting bag, and is more portable.
579 USD, without the pen or folio, and then having to replace that nib at some point... That price point is almost unreasonable. And no linking and table of content feature... That's a tough sell for me. Kudos to the engineers for the clever workarounds to the shortcomings of the display technology though. Edit: The pen is included!
You can get notebooks and PDF’s with header and hyperlinks so although its a nice feature (I know because I also have/had an A5X and have the A6X2 nomad) for me its not a deal breaker. I prefer the writing feel of rM over the features… for my use case. For others where those are more important features I think we all understand but it doesn’t mean that those features are beneficial to everyone’s use case. That’s typically what I see my fellow Supernote users don’t get when they continue to highlight that as a draw back and not appreciating that for those who don’t need those features it’s not enough. I don’t need a great e-reader I have two, I don’t need apps, I have an iPad for that. I appreciate what each device is good at and designed for, coming from a dual device user.
I had remarkable 2 and got remarkable pro. I’m an architect so I thought it will improve my sketching. I really don’t understand if there’s something wrong with my remarkable or if it’s supposed to be like this? I really don’t like screen color and not sure if I can change the brightness of it? Screen is very dark (even with front light), colors of images (especially darker ones) have huuuge contrast so I can barely see the details. I really regret selling my remarkable 2!
Well, I will just wait for 2nd market so I can grab 1 easily. I have done that with remarkable 2 and it is awesome. People often say it is not worth it because of high price. But if the price is 1/3,would you say otherwise? Furthermore, I think this is for people who already have tablets like ipad or Tab S.... Those who say Onyx is better may be they want all in one device, which is understandable.
I hear it flickers a lot when turning pages and when the pen first touch the screen. I’m just purchased one and it arrives tomorrow but after watching so many reviews I have mixed feelings and was wondering if I should just return and get the 2 gen remarkable instead. I’m only using it for writing, storing files, free drawing, journaling and my digital planner. I do write a lot at night and love front light feature. I do have the kindle scribe but looking for something larger to use.
I think with the 100 day return policy, its worth giving it a go. Ive seen some very polarising comments on it - and havent receive mine yet - that either its distracting or they dont really notice it at all in daily use.
Id love this for my wife. She is an author who writes her initial drafts in cursive but then would need to transfer that over to print to prepare for book copies. Does this device do a good job of translating it from cursive to print to get the job done?
Found your channel by searching "paper pro". Thanks for the informative review. I have a tangential question: at 7:30 I noticed your split keyboard. Could you share which brand it is? I'm also considering switching to a split keyboard to ease my shoulder pain.
I was going to keep my RM2, but then i dropped it at some unknown time and the button is stuck down. So i guess that was the universe saying i could go ahead and get the RPP.
Brandon - Informative Video as usual - Thank you!! I do enjoy my Remarkable 2 for the Feel - it is truly “digital paper” (as close as it gets) - I just wish the IPAD (so much more powerful for Note taking and embedding links - tying notes together etc. etc. - Can you recommend ant replacement tips for the Apple Pencil Pro - that would make it a little “less” writing on glass and closer to the E-Ink feel? I just wish I could streamline the # of Devices I carry…. THANKS As always!
Thank U for the review it was very helpful and insightful I also really appreciate & love for this channel: love the way you do the things you do. Can't quite put my finger on it, but it's really considered and you have a really good voice! You're also not your everyday tech-youtuber who glosses everything with the same brush strokes. Thanks again.
i will never understand why not just buy an ipad pro for the same price and if you really want just buy a screen protector with paper-like feeling, is there any actual benefit of using remarkable and if so, why is it important for sketching and note taking...
I love mine but it's borderline useless for reading anything without some kind of DRM support, unless you want to install a bunch of sketch software on your PC
Haven’t changed one yet and I’m over a month in. No significant wear yet. Depends significantly on how much pressure you apply. I would guess I would run through about 2-3 a year if I were to estimate.
I have an RM2 since a long and I recently tried the pro. I immediately felt the writing to be inferior to the RM2. The new screen is smoother making the tip to glide and give a more ipad like feel rather than the RM2.. however most reviewers on youtube claim the other way around
Honestly, the colour flashing isn't a huge dealbreaker for me. The thing holding me back from getting a Remarkable are the pen issues I've seen in so many reviews. If I draw a straight line, it should be straight. I can't see myself paying hundreds of dollars on a 'paperlike'/'paper replacement' product that can't get a pen working properly.
@@BrandonKBoswell Sorry for the late reply - It didn't seem too bad in your video. But, in my opinion, any device that is trying to be paper-like or a paper replacement needs to have the pen tool perfect. It's why the device exists. Kit Betts-Masters did a video comparing the Supernote A6X2 and the ReMarkable 2 and at the end of the video he draws lines that showed clear spots on the screen where there was warping. I'd expect that on something cheap and nasty but not a ReMarkable. I don't know if it's a software or hardware issue but it really has to be fixed. It's my biggest pet peeve of any tablet device that uses pens. If you can't make the function work properly, don't include it.
For over $600 I don't like it's lack of responsiveness and how it doesn't render color quickly, for that price point that's really a red flag and a no sale for me personally. Maybe if it was like $300- $400
Unfortunately not. Check out the Scribe or Boox devices if this is important to you. I personally use the reMarkable for work and the Kindle Oasis for bedtime reading.
Man I looked at this and said a doodler from when we were children , so the world has now bought into thinking us adults need a doodler now to do work 😂🤣.
The straight line feature can't be disabled. So if you like to sketch with it, forget about it. If you pause to long it creates a straight line. That is absolutely ridiculous.
I'm just now starting this video. Let's see if Brandon can be bought of by the ReMarkable marketing team (instead of won over by the ReMarkabe's software development team)...
Man, I totally get the hype around tech gadgets like the Remarkable Pro. They look sleek and give you that temporary boost of excitement, like you just unlocked a productivity cheat code. But let's be real, it's just another form of procrastination. We tell ourselves this new tool will make us more productive, but after a month, it's just another thing we get used to-classic hedonic treadmill. At the end of the day, it's not the $600 device that's going to do the work for us, it's just putting in the time. Gotta resist the mental trap!
In general I totally agree, but over the last 3 years the reMarkable has enabled me to collaborate on early stage designs with my remote teammates in a way that other tools haven’t.
I have mine for since the release, got excited at first but I end up swapping with my wife’s rm2 because of the size and feel. RMPP is like a downgraded Ipad to me and RM2 is a totally different product. And now Im more happy with RM2, but my wife wants it back. So I might return the RMPP and get the RM2 again. Lols
I have received faulty device and return back to remarkable team Hong Kong but waiting for very long no replacement received yet, worst service from remarkable team.
@@BrandonKBoswell no, i heard thats a normal thing as a result of the technology and the e ink. When I read copy on a screen and then click the next page, the imprint of the first page still shows up. I sent a video to the customer support and they agreed its abnormal and are working on a fix. Maybe I just got a bad tablet. Hopefully it'll be solved, or else I'll just return it and try another one. I appreciate you getting back to me so quickly. Says good things about your approach to adding value. You just got a new subscriber!
I don't quite get the whole buy a digital notepad to feel like drawing on paper. I mean I just draw on paper to feel like I'm drawing on paper. Paper, draw on it, make aeroplanes outta it, roll it up and smoke it. However my dude, I bought the Remarkable Pro to display my fine collection of Overwatch erotic art on my desk. Oh hell yeah
@@MSILBB I believe most ppl use their e-ink devices for reading :) so your attack is kinda misplaced but I get the friendly tone so no problem at all. since most of the "e-ink readers" have invested in a library that exists in the kindle app (I also wouldn't like this to be like this, I am all against monopolies but so far things happened this way) it would be ridiculous for "readers" to invest in this, they'd be better off with a Boox Note 4C although a different tech. As for note taking, I find it just too expensive for just note taking. Have a nice day!

Quieter than a mouse click. It would only annoy you if anyone.
@@BrandonKBoswell thank you 🙏
I returned my Remarkable yesterday.
Great review. Thanks I feel like I have a good understanding of both models and which one to buy.
for me it has got me back to using my RM2 way more, as if having that dual screen set up and paired with your laptop or phone now I can have a PDF open and file out notes or documents on the other device, for me my pro is more that at the desk device and the RM2 is the on the go device, the case on the pro is amazing, would be a great addition for a RM2 version,
I love my remarkable 2.
I need the black to be black. How can you even recommend it for drawing? Writing, yes. Drawing? Absolutely not
Great review! I’m thinking of getting it in the spring, I have a RM2 which I love but I’d like a colour screen, bigger screen and front light so I’d like to pick the paper pro up
I love my RMpp :) The writig feel is so good!! I also did an easy change to get better and brighter frontlight :)
What do you think of the front light hack?
@@BrandonKBoswell I like it :) The way I see it Rm has made what they think is best for everyone. The hack is just a setting Rm has set to "no" I have set it to "yes" and can turn it on and off with systemclt.
The setting is "linear_mapping"
My son does advance math. He is looking for the best option to get away from stacks of notebook paper and a better way to organize the equations to reference later. Could the Remarkable pro handle math equations?
Love how you predicted the pro name in your 2024 remarkable 2 video
Hey Elisabeth! 👋
How is the Kaweco EMR pen experience going? Still the preferred option?
The Kaweco is great. I do have another stylus that I will do a quick video on soon.
Thanks!!
I have a Kindle Scribe. It’s great and a lot less expensive but it’s slow opening and closing notebooks. Which is frustrating.
Brandon, I am a terrible speller and have lousy penmanship. (Grammarly saves me) I take notes daily with clients and usually use pen and paper. Do you have any thoughts if it would work for me?
I'm always wonder how and for what you are using your Remarkable 2 :) Could we have a video about it? I hope it's not only my curiosity :)
That would be fun. Noted.
Do you recommend upgrading from the Kindle scribe?
If you find that the Scribe is holding you back. Otherwise stick with what is working.
Do you think you'll try the hack that Chalid Raqami found that can brighten the front light noticeably?
I hadn’t seen that yet. I’m willing to try out some hacks. (I ran DDVK up until software v3), but I am just fine with the front light level for my use cases.
So you write it and it converts it to a typed document?
21 hours ago and I just happened to see an ad abt this that interested me 😭
Ugh, it’s so tempting!
They should release a non-pro that's like the RM2 but updated.
I agree that it’s a ton of money. Do note that they include the stylus in that price now.
@@yensteelmy guess is next fall.
@@BrandonKBoswell ah, my mistake!
Thank you.
I’m curious to hear your thoughts once it arrives.
I have a Remarkable Plus Marker from my Remarkable 2 days. Is that compatible with Pro?
Unfortunately not.
Id love this for my wife. She is an author who writes her initial drafts in cursive but then would need to transfer that over to print to prepare for book copies. Does this device do a good job of translating it from cursive to print to get the job done?
I do a hybrid between print and cursive and have good results. I would give it a shot and return it if it doesn’t work for her handwriting.
Found your channel by searching "paper pro". Thanks for the informative review. I have a tangential question: at 7:30 I noticed your split keyboard. Could you share which brand it is? I'm also considering switching to a split keyboard to ease my shoulder pain.
ZSA Voyager. It has done wonders for my wrist and shoulder pain. Do expect a learning curve though.
@@BrandonKBoswell Thank you for the info!
I was going to keep my RM2, but then i dropped it at some unknown time and the button is stuck down. So i guess that was the universe saying i could go ahead and get the RPP.
I have an ipad air with a screen that makes it feel rough like you are drawing. I am curious to know how it holds up in feel to that?
I like the RMPP. I also like the Viwoods I ordered.
Is it safe to use a ruler on the Paper Pro, or just the regular Remarkable 2?
I can’t see a reason not to. I did it on my Paper Pro in this video
Indeed I can: What if writing on the iPad didn't suck?
th-cam.com/video/_FS-2-0h4Wo/w-d-xo.html
Writing feel. Is it a hard surface, or does it feel like a pad of paper?
It’s on the harder side. If you want something that feels like a pad of paper then try the Supernote.
Great review, I´d love to get access to playlist.
Send me an email brandon [at] playlist.day
Is it easy/natural to write small letters? Many tablets have a tendency to make me write very large.
Thank U for the review it was very helpful and insightful
I also really appreciate & love for this channel: love the way you do the things you do. Can't quite put my finger on it, but it's really considered and you have a really good voice! You're also not your everyday tech-youtuber who glosses everything with the same brush strokes.
Thanks again.
I found it interesting that you said that the RM3 is likely to come in 2025. Have you got any further informations about it? Thanks!
Educated guess
I found NeoSmartpen is for me almost every time. Much cheaper too. Don't need high end pen version either.
Came for the review, stayed after seeing the voyager keyboard.
Which e-link device you think its best to work with Notion app?
None of them. The Boox does run Android apps though
i will never understand why not just buy an ipad pro for the same price and if you really want just buy a screen protector with paper-like feeling, is there any actual benefit of using remarkable and if so, why is it important for sketching and note taking...
I love mine but it's borderline useless for reading anything without some kind of DRM support, unless you want to install a bunch of sketch software on your PC
How have the new pen tips lasted?
Haven’t changed one yet and I’m over a month in. No significant wear yet. Depends significantly on how much pressure you apply. I would guess I would run through about 2-3 a year if I were to estimate.
I have an RM2 since a long and I recently tried the pro. I immediately felt the writing to be inferior to the RM2. The new screen is smoother making the tip to glide and give a more ipad like feel rather than the RM2.. however most reviewers on youtube claim the other way around
Writing feel is incredibly subjective. Voya loves the Supernote writing feel and I despise it. Trust what feels right to you.
Sketching out my thoughts.... 🤔.... I'm new and have been purchasing paper pads All my life.
There is a good reason we mostly write left to right, this video kills that
Honestly, the colour flashing isn't a huge dealbreaker for me. The thing holding me back from getting a Remarkable are the pen issues I've seen in so many reviews. If I draw a straight line, it should be straight. I can't see myself paying hundreds of dollars on a 'paperlike'/'paper replacement' product that can't get a pen working properly.
I’ve had good luck with mine, but there may be device to device variance. What did you think of the ruler tests in this video?
Maybe if it was like $300- $400
Can you read Kindle ebooks on this device?
Unfortunately not. Check out the Scribe or Boox devices if this is important to you. I personally use the reMarkable for work and the Kindle Oasis for bedtime reading.
Does it also work for right handed writers?
Thankfully for their profitability it does
Why on good God's Earth wouldn't they include light temperature regulation on 500$+ device? This is like ABC of any screen design in 2024
Scrolling down....I see 12 hacks, tips and tricks for this device. Thanks 👍👍
and Happy Birthday to me! love your reviews so that's a nice gift xD
Happy Birthday!
Happy birthday to you! 🎂
I stick to my RM2, crappy build and all. It's light, great battery, and right size.
Why is it glitchy?
Man I looked at this and said a doodler from when we were children , so the world has now bought into thinking us adults need a doodler now to do work 😂🤣.
The straight line feature can't be disabled. So if you like to sketch with it, forget about it. If you pause to long it creates a straight line. That is absolutely ridiculous.
Good point.
Playlist looks cool
I'm just now starting this video. Let's see if Brandon can be bought of by the ReMarkable marketing team (instead of won over by the ReMarkabe's software development team)...
Thoughts?
Integrity intact, Brandon! Great review. :)
Has anyone tried this for taking notes for college? I'm going to be going into a health science program pretty soon and I'm looking into tablet/etc.
Lols
Only the pen noise & duller screen is the let down!
They need to give this to real artists to test out
I have received faulty device and return back to remarkable team Hong Kong but waiting for very long no replacement received yet, worst service from remarkable team.
That sucks. Sorry to hear that
I just got the pro. Is anyone else having such a bad time with the ghosting? Its really bad...
Are you talking about the yellowing when scrolling?
@@BrandonKBoswell no, i heard thats a normal thing as a result of the technology and the e ink. When I read copy on a screen and then click the next page, the imprint of the first page still shows up. I sent a video to the customer support and they agreed its abnormal and are working on a fix. Maybe I just got a bad tablet. Hopefully it'll be solved, or else I'll just return it and try another one.
I appreciate you getting back to me so quickly. Says good things about your approach to adding value. You just got a new subscriber!
Great review/video but imo this product is trash…
How do you drive that thing? I always hear reviewers say "my daily driver". Why do people say that? You don't drive the dang thing.
It’s referring to what you typically use vs what you’re reviewing.
the only good thing is the screen, the software makes me sick
I don't quite get the whole buy a digital notepad to feel like drawing on paper. I mean I just draw on paper to feel like I'm drawing on paper. Paper, draw on it, make aeroplanes outta it, roll it up and smoke it. However my dude, I bought the Remarkable Pro to display my fine collection of Overwatch erotic art on my desk. Oh hell yeah
Remarkably useless device. Thank you 🙏🏻
Yikes, being like apple is not a selling point...
Once you used ipad, it not gonna be suitable. Returned. Laggy and bad software. Cant spend hundreds of dollars on a piece of junk
Very different devices, but if the iPad fits your use case then use it.
I have an iPad and HATE writing on it. I love my RM2 and it’s been dead reliable.
The front light on the Pro would be the killer upgrade for me.
Being a lefty is not the best to show writing dynamics...
You should see my writing with the other hand
@@BrandonKBoswell 😂❤️
this device is a joke, you can't even d/l the kindle app and read your books
Just say you don’t understand what the device is for😂.
