Nothing Has Ever Been Easy For Me!!! But I'll Get The Paperwork Figured Out And The Rest Will Be A Cake Walk For Old Rocker Pat!!! Thanks for Watching and Keep Rocking!!!
Neighbour begged me to replace starter in his inboard. It was on a steep ramp on the shore. Hanging upside down was no fun. Then the mofo tried to stiff me on the bill. I finally got paid then told him to kick rocks next time he wanted work done. Would be a cool boat to resurrect. Hope it works out for you. Call minnesota game and fish and explain your situation. Best place to start imho
And That Is The Very Reason I DON'T Work On "Neighbors" Stuff!!!! They Will NEVER Lift A Finger For You But Want The "Neighbor" Discount From You!!!! I Tell Them "You Didn't Win The Lottery Just Because You Moved In Next To Me"!!!! They NEVER Come Back!!!! And That Does Not Hurt My Feelings!!! Thanks for Watching and Keep Rocking!!!
So True On Both Sides!!! I Sure Hope The Paperwork Goes Smoothly!!! I Sure Do Like This Boat!!! And Yes It'll Be A Great Project With Better Fun On The Other Side Than A Bunch Of Rusty Crap Rod's!!! 😀😎😀😎😀😎😀😎😀😎😀😎😀😎😀😎😀😎😀 I Think The Girls Will Like The Boat Better For Sure!!!😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎 Thanks for Watching and Keep Rocking!!!
Good luck getting the paper work. Yeah I wouldn't put much time in it with out having the paperwork either. You get it all running and licensed you can have a couple big boob girls floating around with you😁 Take it easy brother 👍🏻🇺🇲
That's What We Arw After!!! Big Boobed Chicks Tanning The Ta Tas!!! Lol!!! Paperwork First And Then This Winter I'll Pull The Engine's And Fix All The Mechanical Problems I See!!! Thanks for Watching and Keep Rocking!!!
I'll Have To Look Into That Again, But I Think That Loophole Has Been Closed In The Past Year!!! I Also Don't Know If It Would Cover Boat's!!! Plus I Still Have A Number Problem!!! But One Way Or Another I'll Get It Figured Out!!! Hell Even If I Have To Wait 6 Months It's OK Because I Really Don't Have Time For It Now Anyway!!! Gotta Finish The Falcon First And Then There's JOHNNY!!!! Haahaahahahahah!!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 He's Real Close To A Running Truck So I Plan To Finish Him First And The Boat Will Just Have To Wait Until Next Summer To Hit The Lake!!! It's Best To Fix A Lot Of Little Things Now Before They Become Big Things On The Water!!! It'll Have To Be A Full Mechanical Rebuild Before It Hits The Water!!! Thanks for Watching and Keep Rocking!!!
@@rockerpat1085 what a bummer if they closed the loop hole... that was a winner for old harleys and classic cars for a while. and working on the boat over the winter is MUCH smarter anyway!
I have two identical 79 novas. Florida fish and wildlife says I can register them as home made with no paperwork since they’re so old. I wish you luck on this and I will be following along..
@aaronsadventures4759 Awesome!!! A Pair Of Twins Is Cool!!! I'm On The Trail Of Getting The Paperwork Straight!!! Once That Is Done The Mechanical Repairs Are Just A Matter Of Rocking It Out!!! There's A Bunch That Needs Addressed!!! I'll Go Through All The Systems( Engine's, Electrical, Trim Hydraulic Pumps,Bilge, Blowers) Plus Rebuild The Outdrives!!! Then Off To The Lake!!! Thanks for Watching and Keep Rocking!!!
The reason I mentioned the sinking is because my boat partially sank at the dock The engine was full of water but no real harm done, I flushed it out a couple of times. It did mess up my starter and that was the most hideous thing I ever did. Hanging upside down with a rope supporting the body of the starter. 😡😡😡 Sold it after that and bought a 1964 Mercury pick up truck.
Yeah A Couple People Said Something About It Possibly Sinking!!! But I Really Don't See Any Signs Of That Being The Case!!! I Think It Just Got Rained In!!! I'll Definitely Be Pulling Both Engine's Before It Ever Goes In The Water!!! Seems Easier To Pull The Engine Than Try And Replace The Starters In Place!!! Thanks for Watching and Keep Rocking!!!
Most likelly some one has said; "The lake water can not be be clear!" And it can be in the north. It is enough that the rear of the boat sits lower water flow over the transom. And the boat is quick rescued. It is possible to rescue a boat with a strong fire departement pump even only the rear of the boat has sunken. You need some plywood to make a 3 sided wall and suck. There will not be any lines of the water level if it was sunk in clear water not for long (only few days). Here with fresh water is better not to do anything if outboard has sunk unless you start at same time to work to rescue it. It is saved better submerged than taken to out of the water to dry with out starting the salvage procedures. Hence the water inside the engines? The idea is having the engines running soon after the fresh water has been taken out and ut new oil in... Drying the engines with out idea to start them just after that.. You will have rust inside the engine very fast with the oxygen because the oil is washed away from the surfaces with the water.. While submerged in fresh water you have more time to play. You should get ithe engine running in hours when emptied of the water.... Or dissamble it and put in the sauna (very Finnish, but handy in drying parts. A hot room betveen 80- to 100 celsius to dry..) :) Maybe the boat had a dip and the people thought so? The lake water in the north can be even drinkable. I was back in 1988 in Minnesota and Ontario Canada. They had some very clear lakes, like we have in Finland. And I was too back in 1988 in Florida were lake water was murky. I bet the same in Texas? Had some Finnish close family living in Houston back 1982-85. But can`t ask anymore. :(
It Was Sold Down Here In Texas Running In 2020!!! I Found The Previous Registered Owner And He Gave Me The Complete Back Story!!! There's A Video On The Subject I Did A Few Weeks Back!!! I Still Think It's Rain Water At This Point!!! I'm Just Waiting On The Paperwork And Cooler Weather And I'm Tearing Into The Bad Boy!!! I'll Definitely Be Posting Videos As I Rebuild It!!! Thanks for Watching and Keep Rocking!!!
Yep...STOP...I recon I'd give both engines a look over while they're out...Maybe a start up on the ground but yeah wait till you get ownership papers...All watercraft here have a number painted on the front of the hull ending in an "N" and that is registered to the owner...That Number on the side"MN4772DS means something right.!?..Good luck mate.
Yeah The MN Number Is The State Registration Number!!! In Texas It Will Start With TX!!! I'm Hoping The Number Up Front Will Help Figure Out The Hull Number!!! As For The Engine's Go I'll Most Definitely Get Both Running Properly Outside The Boat Before I Reinstall Them!!! Easy Enough To Do Being They Are Carbed And Not Fuel Injected!!! Definitely Will Get NEW Starters For Sure!!! Thanks for Watching and Keep Rocking!!!
Sounds like a good plan waiting on the Reggie for the boat. 6 L LS swap will be very good to follow. Right on Pat.👍👍
Yeah Brother Paperwork First!!! No More Money Spent Until It Legally Mine!!!

Look into Vermont titling. they do out of state, no title, REG only, then you take that reg to texas DMV and THEY make a new title.
