      @@e11k48 Coolest board ever bro.!! I’ve had it for almost a year now and all I can say is I want/need another one now 😂 I definitely need to change the wheels and barrings at this point but it’s still super smooth and Darby with some decent pop and stability.

    My board got here 3 days ago and let me just say…… It’s ABSOLUTELY AMAZING BIG DAWG😎‼️‼️‼️ super Carvy mad surfy while also being Big , stable, and better than my other boards I have. I noticed it’s literally the bigger and better upgrade I needed for my Bo dinghy that I had for almost a year now!

    Hi, what do you recommend for pump track? Regular or carver tugboat?

  • @wiljaq2773

    Cool vid. I wish I could carve up a street like that. I got a tugboat (Bengal) 2 months ago. I LOVE IT, but it truly came to life when I put a set of OJ Super Juice 60mm wheels on it.

  • @rhythmicsoul8208

    Hello @hayhead92, do you suggest the doozies wheels are better overall & for beginners versus the fatty hawgs wheels it comes w/?

    • @hayhead92
      @hayhead92  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      For basic cruising around the Doozies will add a bit of stability and roll over cracks and small rocks a bit better. Fatty Hawgs will work just fine as well.

    What’s the difference between the Ultra curve and the standard Tugboat model?

    • @hayhead92
      @hayhead92  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      The Ultra Carve has reverse king pin trucks and the tugboat has standard trucks. Ultra Carve will turn more sharply and feels less stable than the Tugboat.

    do u reccomend the ultra carve or normal tugboat i cant decide really and reccomendations? Im a beginner would the ultra carve be to twitchy and nimble for me?

    • @hayhead92
      @hayhead92  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Start with the regular Tugboat. Yes the Ultra carve will feel twitchy.

    • @hayhead92
      @hayhead92  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Another tip for a beginner is keep your trucks a bit tighter at the beginning but loosen more as you get gain more experience.

    If I were to go down mellow hills on this board will I have trouble? I used to have a dinghy blunt fender paper tiger which had 130mm trucks and I had no issue going down my mellow campus, will this board be an issue?

    Would you recommend this tugboat or dropcat 38 for just freeride/cruising?

    • @hayhead92
      @hayhead92  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I'd recomend the Drop Cat. This version of the Tugboat has reverse kingpin trucks so it rides like a Surfskate. The Drop Cat is a more comfortable ride. Easier to push/footbrake/slide. Better for long distances and bombing hills.

      @@hayhead92I’ve heard that RKP trucks are better for hills due to being less inclined towards speed wobbles, but that said they are more twitchy in general I think?

    • @hayhead92
      @hayhead92  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yes, I believe that's true. RVK typically works great for Downhill on Long boards but on short decks like the Tugboat, will feel twitchy. Too turny.

    I’m a beginner and just ordered the ultra carve. Will it be stable enough for me?

    • @hayhead92
      @hayhead92  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You would probably be better off with a regular cruiser. The Ultra Carve is a bit twitchy and reactive, but you can tighten the Kinpin bolt on each Truck to add more stability.

      @@spongechameleon6940 I’m still enjoying it! As someone who hadn’t been on a board in awhile it took a bit to get used to the reactiveness at first. I slightly tightened the trucks at the beginning. Still loving it though

  • @e11k48
    @e11k48 ปีที่แล้ว

    Lol sorry another question, but for tugboat ultra carves is it easy to push compared to a Landyachtz dinghy blunt? Or no bc it is a bigger board with 63mm wheels and larger trucks? Also, bc its an ultra carve, how hard is it to go straight? Ik it’s a twitchy board but if I want to just go straight and not carve but turn regularly is it pretty easy to do?

    • @hayhead92
      @hayhead92  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Dingy Blunt will be easier to push and feel more stable because it has standard king pin trucks. The Ultra Carve will be more agile and quick turning at the expense of some stability. It has reverse king pin trucks that are typically found on long boards. The bonus of the Ultra Carve is you can pump to accelerate forward similar to a Surfskate and not have to push as much.
