thank you LY, i have been into boarding for half a year now, i got 3 boards and they are all LY, i love the quality and the brand and the community, wish yall the best!
I started boarding for the first time and wanted something with a bit of difficulty to start me off. I absolutely LOVE my skiff board. It has a lot of give on the trucks so it's a bit less stable, but it also really fun to cruise on! I could ride it for hours.
CCS has the freedive reef for 180. Comes in 3 packages (with different trucks, wheels, etc), two of which are over 200 but the cheapest is 180 so if that fits your budget I'd recommend checking it out
Can we get a Dodger, Schooner, Dipper, Ripper, Freedive, Rally Cat FG, Rally Cat, The Clark rundown like the above? A clip like this is SO useful for the community and had me buy 3 of the boards mentioned (Classic/Shape9/Blunt) and they track.
i'm definitely thinking of investing in buying my first cruiser, i've got a drop through longboard and it's nice and rides smooth but i want something that i can ride through anything. i can't decide between the dinghy, raft or the coffin dinghy. any thoughts??
Depends on the surface you expect to be riding, Houston has terrible roads and sidewalks and the fatty hawgs are simply amazing for overcoming any big or small surface imperfections. Hope you love the one you choose!
I ride the Dinghy and have since I began cruising and I can bomb garages AND cruise just about anywhere on it. It's harder for long term rides so I recently got the Blaze PT and now I'm living in Heaven here in Houston! Thanks Landyachtz!
Out of all the skateboards mentioned in this video wich one is the best for tricks at the skatepark??? I'm not a skater, I'm aware you mentioned the ATV category however my first Dinghy was the Landyachtz Dinghy Beastwreck. I love that board (my first skateboard) and I been skating with it for about 4 years now. I've noticed when picking up speed I can go way faster than the kids at the park but I wanna start doing tricks. That being said. Which one is the one I should get in your opinion? Thanks in advance
You could take any of our boards to the skate park and have fun but if you want to learn tricks your best option is the ATV category. Specifically the ATV Classic and Perfecto. You could also swap to the smaller 57mm Cordova wheels to keep it light
is the turbo king/flight discontinued? I want that so bad!!! big wheels is what I love and it looks like the fender is the only one that accomidats 75mm wheels. (unfortunately its light blue on the Botton. not my taste )
A little extra foot platform can be nice when learning. Dinghy Blunt, Tugboat, Skiff, and Raft are similar to the Classic but wider. If you're after something nimble and compact you can't go wrong with the Dinghy Classic!
What can you recommend for an old 38-year dood who has a longboard 'cause its comfortable, stable and speedy? I want it to transport myself all around the city about 5km per section. Sometimes the streets are in bad shape and need something to go across bad pavement tracks as I do with the longboard. I need to most similar to a longboard being smaller and transportable in the bus and so. No tricks, just the smoothest cruising I can get out of it.
One of our favourites for pushing long distances is the TopCat. You could also check out the DropCat, Freedive, Fixedblade, RallyCat. If you want something compact check out the Dinghy Fender or Schooner landyachtz.com/collections/longboard/products/top-cat-37-fade
I love my longboard for how it can handle bigger hills and also huge bumps in the city and remain stable. Only problem is it’s too big sometimes yk? Any help would be appreciated. It HAS to be super stable because I love using it down huge hills, but it ALSO has to be SUPER good at riding over bumps and cracks that you see often in the city and places with rough rough terrain
Finding the perfect board for everything can be challenging since every setup has its strengths and weaknesses. If you're looking for a smaller board, consider trying the Rally Cat, Sidewalker, or The Clark. For something even more compact, the Tugboat or Ditch Life could be great options. Keep in mind, though, that longer boards tend to be more stable at higher speeds. You can also fine-tune your ride by tightening your trucks or using harder bushings. Most importantly, take the time to get comfortable with your board before pushing your limits, and always wear protective gear!
Which one/two would be best for someone who would like to attempt tricks like Ollie’s and kick flips etc., but really wants to cruise around with friends? I’m coming from a trick board background but not too sure which one to get? They all look so fun
I’m considering trying the Skiff next after seeing this video! I wish there were more reviews of it on youtube. Might swap in the Doozies - I love them on the Big Dipper!
I just love your boards, customer service, performance of the board I want to buy one from you but i live in India. Just want to know that you guys ships to India or not ? ❤️❤️
hmm so these are really all rounder boards, they do tricks but cruise well too. Weird to see landyachtz making so many shortboards that are all pretty much the same these days, used to be all longboards and they were all so different. The dinghy was always a hit tho so I can see why they expanded this section
Check out the Fixedblade or the Switchblade. Also the Dropcat's ultra rocker gives it a dropped feeling landyachtz.com/collections/longboard?setstore=1
You stated that she Dinghy Shape 9 has the same wheelbase as other Dinghies, but your website/store states it has a 15" wheelbase while other Dinghies are like 14.5" wb. Which one is right?
A bit late to this comment but retrospec has some really good ones. Got my first pintail cruiser for less than $100. I think it might have been about $60.
Tugboat is a bit better for tricks and raft is a bit better for cruising (or if you just have massive feet). They're both good all rounders though so its not like either one will limit you to only cruising or only tricks.
Hi guys! I ordered myselfe a dinghy pinecone ( I believe that the only difference between pinecone and Blunt is visual ) Do you think it will be fit for shoe size US13 ?
thank you LY, i have been into boarding for half a year now, i got 3 boards and they are all LY, i love the quality and the brand and the community, wish yall the best!
Thanks for the kind words and we're stoked you're riding our boards 🙏
The classic will always be my favorite. Such a fun board to rip around town on.
I've already noticed a mistake at 4:09 the tugboat flippy does _not_ come stock with 63mm ez hawgs, it comes stock with _60mm_ lil ez's
Landyachtz videos are an automatic like, even before watching.
Just ordered the Dinghy XL Coffin to learn to skate on, super excited
Hope it went and still is going good bro 🤙🏽
just picked up the dinghy fender with the panda graphic. super solid unit. so stoked to get out and ride today.

Do you guys have a budget friendly long board? Everything I’m seeing is pushing $300
I’ve just bought their drop-hammer nightfox, literally arrived today, awesome board, cost 229$, I’d recommend it!

Just picked up the dinghy coffin and it is such a bad ass board!
A coffin dinghy was my first LY longboard and I fucking LOVED it
Just ordered my board can’t wait
I love Landyachtz. I'm moving back to Europe and am kinda bummed because I know you don't sell much over there. :(((
Absolute favorite: slim jim
We need another live with Landyachtz!!!!!!
Ps , y’all should make a bucket hat 😳😀
I really love my dugout.. it’s perfect for me.
Is there any reason why you guys didn’t continue making it?

The Tugboat is amazing.
It's a total classic
@Landyachtz would you recommend a second board? Looking for something with a bigger nose to grab.
