Origin or avenger if hand pumping Gaunlet 2 if using compressor. Avenger most tunable for diff pellets but Oregon works great with 18.5gr and 2 turns out on hammer
Well I'll say this, if you don't like tinkering with stuff, Umarex is not for you. I had to clock the reg for gauge to line up, work on trigger, and tighten all the screws. It now is regulated at 2800psi with smaller poppet valve, high travel valve stop. Working on 100fpe with 55gr slugs is my goal and good to 200yds.
@@dharrison6832 Same here the Origin was my first. I have to say I now know the complete in and out of the gauntlet 2 now that I have put hajimoto super tune kit and up the reg pressure. I forgot to say all hardware holding it together was loose and orings torn in factory assembly. It is now a 700 dollar gun but I got to do it and know my gun by doing that.
The ballistic coefficient of a pellet is very low so it's probably only moving 700 feet per second and 100 yards that's just a off the top of the head guess
@@Rich2brokeN yeah, but each individual page is labeled as two pages because fromt and back. So you have to divide the page number you see in half to tell how many actual pages of paper it went through.great rifle! Thumbs up!

Great for target 🎯 shooting or even possibly self defense
.25 is out in this now getting 57fpe with like 25 shots for like $350 thinking on getting that

I just checked my hammer spring and it must back off it was 2 turns out I set out 180° when i first got it

No all original. I moved on to Gauntlet 2 and trying to get it tweaked to my liking.

Those are way over my budget. I would maybe jump to a AEA Challenger Pro.

Yesss, the grip could lose the bottom hump, and be a lot better. I end up squeezing my pinky above it.
