This is such an incredible device, I don't understand how the iPhone x costs over 3 times as much when iPad gives you so much more value in terms of productivity.

Not really. Consider the iPhone X to be a "prototype". Apple know its position in the market: Premium. Like Lamborghini, even if they charge millions for a new prototype sport car, billionaires would still flock into the stores to buy it. The iPhone X is the most radical design change since the first iPhone, and Apple would be justified somewhat by charging it at a mountainous price tag.
Now that the heat is dying down, along with sales. This year in September, they'd release a budget iPhone X that's around $500 - $600.
Matthew Lee I wish. Unfortunately, the “budget X” was/is $750. Making it almost the same price as the iPad with Logitech keyboard and Apple Pencil

I got the ipad 6 earlier this year and the non laminated screen drives me nuts. This was my first Apple purchase coming from the samsung tabs so i just got the entry level ipad. Next year ill definitely be upgrading to the next edition of ipad Air

Does Apple Pencil make annoying sounds when you quickly take notes?
I want to buy it for note-taking It seems logical, since I am going to pre-med this year and I will be taking lots of notes.
I always have a hard time keeping all of the notes together and finding the right one is always a challenge for me.
However, I hate that loud holo sound when you tap iPad screen with plastic.
So does anyone find it really annoying?

because the Apple pencil is very soft material and chance of braking when we place it in bag ( the Bessel on top is a waste space so it can be used for placing Apple pencil)

IJ Williams if you’re doing serious work, the Pro will suit you better. A dedicated keyboard is a lot better than a Bluetooth keyboard.
Processing power they’re about the same, shouldn’t notice any lag or slow downs as of 2018.
A9X ~= A10
And of course the larger screen is better for productivity at the cost of portability.
For a good price, the Pro is a better option for school/work.
You can also use a usb keyboard if you get an OTG Cable

I believe that was a good review and information for the new iPad. I have been in search of how well does this iPad make use of editing of photos from the native app Photos? And, could this iPad have the portrait mode on the camera? How well will the Apple Watch work with the camera on the iPad? My intention to use the iPad instead of buying a MacBook Pro, the craziest amount of cost. I simply want to do some editing of photos taken, and scanned, so that I can not always be seated at my desktop. Anybody else think this would be a choice instead of the MacBook?

Most underrated thing about this ipad is the fact that it doesn't have the camera bump on the back so you can write on it with an Apple Pencil better than on other iPads

I own the 6th gen Ipad I'm waiting to get Apple Pencil I didn't know take a paper write on direct on IPAD that's neat feature. I use my IPAD to watch Netflix and playing Games like RPG Style. I do have shopping apps on my IPAD. I would check out RavPower IOS Flash Drive got 64gb internal memory and put upto 256GB Micro sd that is really neat.

I want a nice stylus, but I don't know that I'm ready to spend 100 dollars on one. Does anyone have any reccomendations? I would prefer a pressure sensitive one, but if you know of a really cheap one, like under $30, I am willing to give up that feature

If you have the extra budget you should buy the pro and the base model of the pro 2017 is 64 gb now not 32 gb and if you do heavy stuff and need a greaf camera quality then choose the pro but if you just use it for notes and some simple stuff and dont mind the non laminated display then you choose the Ipad 2018. For me i'm saving for the Ipad Pro 10.5 because my school is really heavy when it comes to prjects and they are mostly video reports and i want to edit in something portable so yeah.
