Just some quick notes from the videos Grand Falls is closed by the Governing tribal council since 2022. Also you can visit Montezuma Well but diving there is very dangerous because there is Leeches in the water. Always consult professional guides and experts before attempting anything like this.
I really love living in Arizona. People who have not experienced our amazing state have no idea what they're missing. The only thing I would add to the list is that if you're going to head down to Tombstone, book a tour of Kartchner Caverns while you're down that way. It's a beautiful cave system.
I have a disease that warrants Arizona climate but it’s impossible to know where to settle. Tucson is out. senior communities are out. TH-cam is not very helpful…the pros and cons are confusing from one persons perspective to another
An absolutely incredible compilation! Though there's a few spots I think should have been included: * Petrified Forest * Kartchner Caverns * Chiricahua National Monument * Bearizona * White Pocket
Great video! Lots of spots to check out in future visits that I’ve never heard of. The MIM is amazing! We went to Frank Lloyd Wright’s Taliesin West years ago and would like to go again.
TY for this amazing compilation 😊much appreciated since i just moved here from san diego to be with family and even though i have traveled through here before, i absolutely looove the many things i have never seen before… you are my go-to comprehensive resource on all fun AZ roadtrips and so looking forward to more, pls keep up the amazing work!!
Very comprehensive list however you miss the best kept secret in the State. Whitewater rafting the UPPER Salt River Canyon ! This fickle gem is only March through May and needs a snowpack in the White Mountains. Trips range from 1/2 day to 5 days expiations. I have lived all over Arizona but come March the S.R.C has been home for 32 years ! It blows minds every spring. Go, Do.
Thank you for your videos! Our family moved to AZ because of the information you provided! However, you missed our favorite gem in AZ: Castle Hot Springs! It’s not cheap to stay there, but it’s worth every penny!!!
I've been putting together a “Bucket List” of sorts, over the last couple years. It contains well over 100 listings, I haven't actually counted. But it currently is a total of 147 pages, with as many as 2 & up to several listings per page. Most listings include brief descriptions, location ,& website info (whenever possible). It is all inclusive, nothing left out. Theme restaurants, diners, activity centers, ghost towns, seasonal events, some catered to kids & some for adults, lakes, hiking, caves, & a whole lot more. It's been suggested I get it published. Still considering the idea. Also there are a few more tweaks & extras it still needs.
I’d say the most overlooked place in AZ that never gets mentioned is the Chirricauas. National Park and the Huachuca Mountains. Sierra vista brown canyon and Carr canyon. As well as Montezumas pass overlook in siera vista. By far one of my favorite places in Az. It’s probably best to keep it quiet tho. But you should hike to the top of Carr canyon. Overlooking sv
One thing that I wish I’d known…. We had an awesome Navajo guide on our visit to Antelope Canyon. After our tour I looked him dead in the eye and gave him a firm handshake (along with a $20). I could tell it made the young man uncomfortable. I found out later that is a sign of aggression and an insult. I felt bad later when I found that out. He did a great job and I wanted him to know how much I appreciated it and I ended up insulting him. Ugh!
When you say you need a permit to enter some of these places, is this something I can get AT that particular location? I'm trying to plan an AZ trip and want to check out a couple of the places you mentioned needing a permit.
@@LivinginArizona nothing under the 4s…I believe you said your brother was a real estate agent or I could be totally mixing that up. Please recommend one. Appreciate it.
@@LivinginArizona Yeah, I’ve heard variations of that excuse. But when water has to be rationed and agriculture suffers, it’s a fkn waste to use on golf courses.
I disagree, downtown Tucson is actually the place to be. You said there's not much going on, thats wrong. Theres museums, lots of restaurants, bars, shops. Excellent night life, speak easys, A Mountain where a 5 mins drive takes you to a great view of downtown. Also you were talking about old Tucson studios yet you were showing pinical peak. Makes me wonder what else was not correct in other cities.

Jeff, this may be your best post ever, actually, it was not too long. This is a must see!
Lot of work in this one. Thanks for the effort.

Excellent 🤩, good morning ☺️, greetings ☺️, Blessings 🙏🏻, happy day 😊
Lived in Sedona as a kid, only a post office there back then. Loved it so much, wish I could afford to live there now.
I don't think I saw any mention about the London Bridge, near Havasu. Really really cool.
One of your best vids. Love the historical factoids woven in. Thanks
Great video
Nice video😊
Thanks for all these tips in one video. Makes road trip planning easier :-)
Aussie here who would live in Arizona if she could! I’ve been multiple times over the years and it owns my heart. 💗🇦🇺

Surprised that you didn’t mention first Fridays when you were talking about Roosevelt row and downtown Phoenix.
Can't believe you left out Chiricahua National Monument. 😀
Outstanding TH-cam video 😁👍
Good job as always
Once again Jeff, you hit a grand slam on this video

Strange that you hoped all over the state, going back & forth. Would have like a “flow”.

Better to get online before arrival. I don’t think you can get them on location
Grand Falls has been closed to those outside tthe Navaho nation since 2022. Please respect tribal wishes.
Yes you are right. Please respect the tribe and do not go there!
No Camelback Mountain????
How do we obtain a permit for these places that require a permit? Thank you.
Montezumas well is supposed to have leaches
Yes it is people need to be careful diving there for sure
And Kitchener caverns
best thing to do in parker az is avoid the drunks and watch your stuff from being stolen from the tweekers.
1) visit the grand canyon
2 - 88) leave
Video living in surprise?.. PLEASE
What towns outside of Prescott are more affordable to live?
anything aways from the drunks and tweekers.
Prescott Valley, Chino Valley & Dewey - Humboldt
Have you checked out around Chino Valley
