    We bought the 4300 last week, and after the break in of about 29 cups or so, It is now making barista level caps and latte's along with pro grade shots. This thing is incredible. We are still tweaking the settings for aroma, size and foam/hot milk level, but as it is, it gives a pro grade cup of coffee.

      We love it! It's paid for itself 3x already. We recently did a deep clean of the brew group and re-greased it and the quality is still just as good after 700+ cups of coffee

    I just bought the 4400 and it keeps telling me to fill the water tank when it’s full. If I kinda slam it into the back it goes away. That plus the watery coffee is not a good day one.

    Have any of you that own this machine found that it produced less of a drink than it should? Ex. Making the latte should give me ~11oz drink but this will only make 6 oz?

      The only time I've encountered something similar was when I used certain brands of oat/almond/coconut milk. It seems some of the milk alternatives don't flow through the frother very well.
      If you just use normal milk, then I'm not sure!

      Apparently this may also be due to the o-rings inside the machine snapping, they can easily be replaced however!

      @@AlfonsoHerrera-ik3gb gotcha. I believe it took 25-40 cups for mine to really work well. Some people on Reddit/Amazon reviews had the issue up to ~75 cups, so it may just need some break-in. I use Lavazza Super Crema beans and get a good solid puck and dark espresso using the default strength setting and default grinder setting.

      It's not too bad. I wash the grounds contianer and drip tray once a week. Then I rinse the brew unit once a month and let it dry. Do a deep cleaning every ~6 months which takes about 30 minutes.

      I haven't had any issues! It takes ~25 brews to reach full strength and remember to rinse out the brew group each week. Also, dont used flavored/Starbucks beans as the oil from the beans can ruin the machine. Philips has a few videos on maintenance that are really helpful.

    • @anthonkitty1509
      @anthonkitty1509  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@siiNke I chose the Philips for a few reasons:
      1- price was much cheaper on Amazon than the Jura models (if you want one that froths milk, Jura is 2-3k vs 700-900 for this model)
      2- Philips LatteGo system is superior for milk froth and much easier to clean (no tubes)
      3- Philips has more drink choices (I believe this one has 8 different coffees it can make) and you can easily customize the different settings to your preferences
      I may do a video in the future on the cleaning process. Philips made it very simple and the machine itself provides instructions on the screen.

    They are poor. The steamer only allows the milk to be like warm. I cant do luke warm coffee. Its meant to be a hot beverage. Not to mention the fact it cannot deal with oat or coconut milk. Its a really poor machine. Do not get anything with built steamers or bean grinders

    • @anthonkitty1509
      @anthonkitty1509  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Luckily, we haven't had that issue, although we have it set to the hottest temperature. Oat milk wasn't great, but most brands of almond milk foam just fine (Wegman's seems to foam the most similar to normal milk).
