    Always for new couples or young age tourist they prefer Thailand over Malaysia,each country has their own Identity..so for us Malaysia we admit we are more suitable for the marriage couple with kids and family..not so wild life we having here but that's us Malaysia not to heavy on having party but not say that we don't have it .. we have 13 states to conquer the experiences and each if the states will have own unique culture..we are more for expats..and be careful with migrant workers ya

    1 passenger carries extra 20kg. What if 100 passenger do the same? Thats extra 2,000kg and may cause danger for the plane to take off and land. Please dont be selfish.

      Ya our tickets told us otherwise and their website was confusing. We travel full time and only own what we have in our bags. We had no problems in USA and through out Europe with the weight we had for airplane safety so I don't think that is the issue. But we have figure out how to travel around Asia now without getting charged a lot for our bags.

    MAS is one of the best Airlines that offer free luggage on top of your flight ticket. Yes, online booking is confusing some time. Most of the time you entitled free luggage a minimum of 15kg and sometimes 25kg its depend when you book online. When you do online booking don't taking it for granted and you MUST monitor your step by step booking because there's a time they offer free luggage or free insurance or otherwise. It change from time-to-time could be due to timing of booking and numbers of booking done. Yes, for MAS if you buy luggage separately its costly because MAS is not a low cost airline like Airasia so their rates are higher. But, for ticket sometime if you are lucky on your online booking at the right time you can even a MAS flight cheaper than the low cost airlines such as Airasia. So advise is take note of your step-by-step booking because they are few options features to avoid future disappointment....enjoy your trip to Malaysia which you will never regret....

    • @abbyandlogantravel
      @abbyandlogantravel  หลายเดือนก่อน

      Ya our ticket on our side said we had free bags on our ticket. But the counter said they don't honor that, which really sucked for us. And now that we know that the counter can change the rules we keep that in mind when book our flight. We typically buy extra weight a head of time now even if our tickets say we have free bags. Just unfortunate it was so confusing to find the info online. But we finally have it figure out!🤗

    Malaysia Airlines used to be the sought after airlines by air travelers back in the 70's and 80's until corrupt politicians and officials took over the management and it stays lousy till now. Efforts being done by the current Malaysian government (it being the nation's Flag carrier) to uplift its image and management professionally. Hopefully things will be back to its glory days 40 years ago.
