    Just a thought, when you grind the rivets, they get pretty hot. They're already tight in the arm, so the heat may have expanded them which would make them tighter. In theory, it may be worth either leaving them to cool, pouring some council pop on them, or just plain-old gas-torching around the rivet itself.

      Yeh kin your proberly right,,they were tuff to get out. let them cool down never crossed my mind at the time... It does work using heat and cold. The other day I removed and fitted bearings on my Ktm200 rear wheel. I warmed up the hub where the bearings fit and cooled the bearing with plubmers pipe freeze. The bearing as much as dropped in the hole. easy. Not like last time i chapped them in and out with big hammer.
