The HMV has the same look and feel as the one in Shinjuku just out the East gate of Shinjuku Station. Coconuts is on my list. Hope to check it out on a future visit. Thank you for all the great videos.
Thanks for dropping by the channel @ericpriebe! Yes, all the HMV's have a similar vibe, and all pretty much have a great selection and increasingly better prices than Tower or Disk Union IMO. Coconuts is one of my all-time favs. Give me a shout out when you're back in Japan on a future visit!
Also, I'm always suggesting to everybody that if you want to stay up to date with Tokyo Record Style, you can sign up for my newsletter here: mailchi.mp/8c775b002dcf/tokyo-record-style-newsletter

Excellent smooth camerawork and storytelling. Amazing how empty the stores were on a weekday. You did a great job with the sound; both speaking and mixing with ambient noise. And the music; I assume it’s not copyrighted; you’ll have to give me tips on sourcing when we eventually meet. Here’s to chronicling the great vinyl scene in Japan!
Thanks for the comments and encouragement! Appreciate it! Yeah, I actually aborted mission twice cuz there were just too many people, but I sorta hung out and people cleared out which made it ok. Yeah, music is hard, I just got it from some random website where you get 3 free songs a month, but I think there a lots of websites out there with license free music. Oh crap, that reminds me, I need to credit them in the description. Thanks for the prompt! Take care and hope those allergies are clearing up :-)
Come visit us, Mr. Finglish! We'd love to connect with you in Tokyo! Thank you for dropping by and watching the video and leaving a comment! We're waiting for your visit to Japan!!
@@tokyorecordstyle Well it would be cool to visit at Tokyo. We are already planning to travel Japan. We started saving money. So it takes some time. But we are going to stay in Osaka and near by it.
