Places like this should be under the protection of whatever stands for the national ministry of culture. I had the chance to visit a jazz caffee while in Takasaki, but missed it due to scheduling issues.
Japan is an ultimate place for music lovers especially you're seriously into collecting lps & cds and analog hifi gears.
I could spend hours in a little hang-out like this. Listening to Jazz, drinking coffee, saki or whatever. ☺ 🍷
It's a damn shame that the land where most of this great music comes from lacks these kind of places.

THIS IS BRILLIANT.
I visited this place when I lived nearby, in Yukigaya-Otsuka. Unfortunately, I never went again after moving out of Tokyo. Now I'm not in Japan anymore. I always wish I went more often. I hope Ishizaki-san is still running the place next time I'm there.

Damn, I lived in Yukigaya-Otsuka for over 8 years and never knew this place existed in Kamata. I never considered myself a jazz aficionado, but the more I listen, the more I like it. Too bad I missed this opportunity.
