"The tutorials are the hardest part of this game", me and my friend who play Genshin together have been saying that for ages, they're far too wordy and overly complicated with specific terms and terminology that is never used anywhere else. I just skip over them now and try to figure things out on my own, mostly with success.

I feel like there's a few points in the Chenyu quest where they were talking about how dead gods sometimes become small versions that slowly regain their power, and then juxtaposed that with Paimon having a bottomless appetite.
Hopefully this year's contractually mandated Dain appearance advances the plot substantially.

I have a growing theory that the moon sisters represent the past, present, and future but in certain ways, where one sister represents Memory which is past-coded, one sister represents Perceived Time which is present-coded, and the last sister represents Dreams which is future-coded. And they’re all tied together by music.
not sure if it was stated, but I have a feeling there is no connection between the Clearwater Jade and Arcium(sp?) because if you look at Jade in real life, it is a brilliant colour of green like they show in the game. and I have a feeling the Devs like to be as realistic with what they can when it comes to Chinese culture and Jade is a big part of Chinese culture.

3:20:16 creating the circumstances necessary for descension; that phrasing made me realize Descenders might just be people like Venessa who ascended to Celestia, and decided to come back to Teyvat, to descend, with all the godlike power they possess after ascension. If a descender has a will to rival a world, and a vision is a manifestation of a powerful will, then it makes more sense why the Traveler, a descender, can use multiple elements and has been compared to a Vision in human form.

Honestly for the Luofu arc, my biggest gripe was that they completely failed to establish human "immortality" as... a bad thing? It's like "well after x thousand years we succumb to mara!" and..... okay?
You still get countless more decades to live healthily before mara is even a concern. Most humans barely even get 50 good, healthy, adult years. Y'all get HUNDREDS before mara starts being an issue.
The only negative seems to be that if you're disabled, you can't fix it, because the immortality means your body will return to it's natural state... Which is.... I mean most short life humans in starrail are also unable to fix their disability sooo... moot point.
And mara, which... Is able to be dealt with appropriately.
Maybe they just needed to go deeper into Blade's lore but ultimately, the whole "omg the abundance tree was resurrected!!! This is BAD! NEVER eat the fruit OMG!" just left me going ".....oookay so where's the problem?"
Exactly which made the hunt seem worse to me !!! Also I had a problem with quintet who had also cannot believe those people were friends except for Jingyuan so I couldn't care less about their fallout and they kept dancing around what happened between them without saying it.
@@spreadhappiness3250 true. I feel like if they dove into the quintet's fallout, Blade's past and present, and Dan Feng's crimes, then maybe human immortality would've been seen as the negative that the writers wanted us to see it as.
But as it stands it's just like... I'm sorry, the immortality is a net positive.

That talk about deshret's color around 2:50:00, made me think of alchemy. What if he achieved rubedo, but then turned back into nigredo?
About 41:15 or something, you were talking bout a Visionary, but i was thinking both Mona and Paimon was talking up, and specifically called the person who "saw" the prophecy a Visionary; but didn't later Skirk name dropped Vedrfolnir, calling them "The Visionary", and even Paimon tried to ask more about them, is it too on the nose? Cause i was kinda just connected them as the person Mona thought of

3:01:03 that observation about the three black and gold stars with one uncolored star; reminds me of how we theorize Deshret to be a descender because of all his similarities to the Traveler and the fact that he supposedly used all the elements; he came to Teyvat earlier than the Twins, and the star on the mural is set apart from the pair of colored stars and the one uncolored star; and the pair of colored stars could be the Twins, with the uncolored star representing Paimon who may have come to Teyvat around the same time as the Twins from somewhere like the heavens, but she’s so different from the Twins and Deshret so her star looks different to set her apart from theirs.
Elden Ring and Genshin have many similarities. Both worlds were ruled originally by dragons, both worlds got invading will that imposed its rules to the world. Both have androgynous god being that ruled over the world. Traveler is supposed to ascend to the Heavenly Throne and become new Elden Lord etc.
Both take lot of ideas from alchemical lore.
btw in elden ring and for this first part dark souls historically ancient stone dragons ruled the world before gods but for elden ring particularly they did as well and headed the previous age before the crucible, all dragons afterwards were not ""ancient" dragons and did not inherit their stone scales which made them immortal which is theorized through the warping of time on that note after the age of dragons which was prehistoric there was the crucible then the age of the elden ring which all are brought about by the influence of an outer god, regardless the dragons scales being thought to warp time are likely what keeps crumbling farum azula afloat as that city is made out of dragon corpses and theres an everlasting storm cast about it something to think about for connections with dragons veins tyvat being an egg and the possibilities of its structures
btw the first elden lord was a three headed dragon lord which possibly gave birth to most if not all of the other ancient dragons which was betrayed by its outer god

For me, Star Rail is more so a time thing. I really do want to get back into it, but I can barely keep up with Genshins updates as it stands. :(
after the luofu arc in starrail, my will to play the game went waaayyyyy down. it already didn't help that I don't like turn-based combat all that much. i ended up stopping playing the game until attempting to pick it back up last update, but i just ended up not continuing to play it again. Penacony is tempting, but I don't really feel any desire to open the game, so I'll probably just watch someone else's playthrough of it online instead.
About the Natlan thing, wasn't Mondstadt still a prologue? I wonder if we'll go back to Mondstadt... I'd certainly be happy if they didn't do Natlan this year, that way we could extend the story :P

Yeah I wanted Navia and of course I got nouvelette furina and Lenny. I didn't get another five star until Cloud retainer I pulled for navia every day. And it was the third time there was a raiden Shogun banner and I didn't win.
the kazuha-irmin-deshret theory is sooo reaching, the characters that have the most connection with deshret are cyno, alhaitham and kaveh. cyno for the electro symbolism, and alhaitham and kaveh for the moon and sun symbolism (the two parts of deshret inspiration). kazuha is ''red'' bro kaveh too lmao i'm actually more interested in his connections to the deshret-irmin thing.

Why are guys pronouncing Chi as “Chuhh”? It is either pronounced “Jeee” or “Kai”
In terms of lore it can be justified. The ancient/OG name for Chi is actually Qingce according to the "Diary of Roald the Adventurer".The "ce" there is pronounced something like "chuh".
I just got three stars on the 8th floor the spiral of this for the first time can I use gaming and Cloud retainer and they're only like level 50 and I couldn't even do this with a level 60 for furina and level 70 other characters. Although she was part of it as well in fact it was the three of those and Benny boy on one team while on my other team I used the Dragon novelette her princessen Noel and the nun from hell
The timey-wimey stuff is pretty simple but people took a huge wrong turn a year ago by saying "only memories" change. It's pretty much reached breaking point so enjoy all that "only memories" stuff while you can. It was always nonsense contradicted by the text. Now it's becoming nonsense contradicted by the broad narrative. The broad narrative is "fate" and challenging fate. "Only memories" contradicts that concept. If we only change memories then we can't be challenging fate. Because we're not really changing anything at all. You can't "forget" people back to life. You have to change the past to make real lasting change to the fate of Teyvat.

Why Hoyoverse translators are not translating from Chinese to other languages accurately? 🥲
I can actually think of a couple of reasons:
1. Not everything has a thing similar to it in different languages/cultures, Chinese culture and literacy are already a lot different than Western culture as a whole, so they have to choose between not translate then at all and explain everything or find the closest thing possible in translated culture.
2. Things like jokes/word play won't be able to be translated properly due to languages not having the same word play in that specific scenario, so sometimes the meaning/hinting/connection wordplay maybe lost among the way of translating
3. I think the translation team doesn't have that much time to translate everything accurately to every details, especially with how much text Genshin has, they would prioritise somewhat quantity over quality. Or they don't have enough knowledge about the specific subject in both of the languages being translated from/into, so sometimes context would be lost.
Who's saying that? I'm a native Chinese speaker and they've been doing a really good job.
