I bought one of these recently and I absolutely love it. My little one is a bit older (just turned 3), which makes it easier for me to coach her on when to stand up and prepare for any bumps in the trail, and she’s learning very quickly. I was initially worried about her flying forward if I braked suddenly, but because her feet are strapped in so securely it’s really not an issue. One time I almost had a crash (touched wheels with rider in front of me) and had to stop suddenly and put a foot down and the bike nearly tipped over completely, but I was able to stop the bike from fully tipping over and she stayed securely in place with no issue.
Hi Micheal how do you get on with pedalling? Do you have to turn your knees out much so you don’t hit your boy? I have a fixed seat currently and have to pedal with my knees right out to miss the seat, which in turn has given me knee problems.
I do not like this solution, because child is not proteced enough, there are not any seat belts for them. What happends to him if you must emergency brake?
What you refer was one of my concerns before buying, in first place i don't think any parent will go for a great speed, in second place, he has his feet in the bars and are straped, so what happens it's the same that happens when you break alone, you stay on the bike.
Little man saying "cheese" every time he passes the camera is the best part >

Awesome! How old is your kid at this time the video was created. Also thinking about the seat. Do you feel it's secure for your kid?
