How To Upgrade RAM On Lenovo IdeaPad 330 | Easy Step Guide

Hi, Today in this video I am going to #upgrade the Ram For #Lenovo #IdeaPad330.
This is a 17-inch laptop and it came with only 4 GB ddr4 Integrated RAM. Also, it does have one additional ddr4 ram slot which gives an option to upgrade the ram. So let's Do it.

1. On your laptop, open the task manager
( To open the task manager, you can either press ctrl+alt+del 1 or 2 times simultaneously or, you can press the windows key and on the search panel type task manager. )
2. On the task manager window, you will see performance tab; click on it.
3. Then you will see memory tab; open the memory tab and you will the slots of ram available on your laptop.

Mine is Lenovo ideapad 330-15ich with 4gb soldered on board and 4gb in slot total =8 gb so my ques is can i upgrade the slot from 4gb to 16gb so that comine will = 20 gb i m asking this bcoz in cmd it says max 16gb and showing two slots ?? So what should i do and what about dual channel speed ??????

You need to remove old ram

In the 330 theres 4gb soldered and one slot open for an upgrade you could have another model similar to the 330 and confused it with it :]

You don't have to reinstall, if that's what you are really asking about. Definitely you will have to boot it. Because you needed to turn off the laptop before changing RAM.

Upgrading ram is not all about to make the laptop faster. It depends on which processor it has. Also, you should change the hard drive to SSD if you would like to have better speed.Hope you would subscribe to my channel! Thanks
