12:55 man that sounds so cool! Always loved the way your tones and riffs sound. It was huge part of what made Dragged Under so great for me when you were with them (still love them a lot don't worry). Your overall playing and sound always remind me of what Caleb does in Beartooth, sort of hard rock/hardcore ish sound i'd say! Anyway love your stuff, i'm off to get Gojira X 🤟
Some great advices on the path to tone dialing. But in the end the tone itself is something so personal depending on the genre you're going for, e.g you're doing chugs, open chords and fast chords, but dialing a tone without even once tremolo picking on single string, to me, is crazy.
Your guitar tones are what got me hooked in Dragged Under. Great Band itself, no question but if it wasn´t for your clean understanding of what you personally want for tone it would miss a huge ascept of its great production quality aswell. Hypochondria and brainwash broadcast are great examples, the tone is just so stingy while also being so defined and voluminous rounded up. Its like with Landmvrks (which you should absolutely tour again with ;) ) you hear the tone and you immediately reckognize who it is! Thanks for the example of the Gojira X, i use it and im like intermediate, also thanks to your shared knowledge. thank you !
I appreciate this. I almost never use Gojira X because it's super fizzy and hot for most of the Drop D and Drop C# post-hardcore/metalcore I like to play. I'll have to try some of this process to see if I can tame it better but I generally use Nolly X because the JCM800 is my jam.
The fizzyness and little tame in the standart presets are what i also feel about it. Often a little EQ and also the mic placement can do so much... But when its on default i mostly have to turn the knob down on my humbuckers since it gets too "hot" too easy
anyone having issues with load times with this plugin? Ive purchased multiple Neural Amps and never had any issues but when the Gojira updated to the X version It struggles to function, Takes 20-30 seconds to load in.
I love Neural DSPs plugina and own most of them but lately ive got on the STL Tonality train. If Neural DSP would release a Driftwood Purple Nightmare I'd prob come back.
Depending on the song I’ll high pass all the way up to 130-140 if the kick and bass are really pumping and the mix is dense. Whatever sounds the best is what you should do 🤷
My favorite plugin is stl tones lassa lammert tonality but when I’m live streaming I use gojira x so I can use the doubler to make it sound more interesting for the crowd while I’m getting a riff made up.

If you can create a loop to automatically play through your Plugin, etc. then it's a lot easier to focus on dialing in or auditioning different tones.

The default setting with a 33 infront goes hard for drop A.
Solid plug-in did a video on it!🫡

@@SGuitars1903 I always use 3rd party IRs with my NDSP plugins and I EQ a bit but usually it's rolling off the low end.
Cool Vid Fluff👍
Great video!
Great video, thanks.
This guy is so jive. His entire schtick is just scene pleasing algorithm fuel. It's like the Burger King of gear-tubers.

This is a very great instruction!!!!!

Which OH pack or the IR? Thanks!
kickass vid, Fluff! (can I call you Fluff?)
How do I get that exact same guitar?
What are you using to plug the pickup selector hole in your Stingray?
Just an electrical hole plug off Amazon
whats that static-y noise

String guage? What do you mean? Namastè.
how thick/heavy the strings are
😮

idk - I kinda liked default better.
First 🎉
Also I love this plugin, it's my go to for so many tones
No offense, but you say a crunch tone is clean. lol. It’s hard to take this seriously.
It’s actually a long standing joke on the channel. But you can call your tones whatever you want, sweetie.
@ you say that, but you’ve also said “that’s my clean channel”. Then tried to justify it.
Then that means his crunch tones must be wicked heavy darling
@ are you white knighting Fluff? lol.
Hush Karen
Sheesh crazy to see the amount of people bitching in these comments. Go play your guitars lol
learn how to use a plug in before you sell lessons. If you use the default input settings it's a red flag, it must be adjusted for every guitar.
Not really, especially if the input gain on your interface is already dialed in properly.
This ^^
It's gotta be adjusted for your interface, not for each guitar
Good thing your mom is there to adjust it for him.
cool story albluurt
