How are we all feeling about new Mercy's lifeguard skin?
Wish it was a bit more detailed. Feels somewhat bland. Weird staff. But good overall. I bought it but I feel it's not worth almost 30 dollars.

im happy with it esp since i got it free from microsoft rewards. only got the skin though, dont care much for the intro or charm
Look over all great. She has longer nails than other skins which is cute, it feels like the hair we’re going back in OW1, which is just cute and so her. I agree she always felt like a full body suit instead of a two piece. I’m not upset with it though still feels like her if that makes sense. Honestly wish the wings while still have the red, the light could have been a very light blue. Also why wouldn’t they just make some voice liens for the skin? You know we all love “Heroes Never Drown”. Lastly …. The floaters- or whatever you call them. Not a fan. Yes a life guard uses them but that feels so after thought.
“Heroes never drown” would have been so good 😂😂😂. Idk I feel like with how expensive the skins are you HAVE to add a little more spice to them.

i would’ve loved if they added a little whistle when you use valk along with the heroes never drown voice line. kinda similar to ashe’s poolside skin, where there’s a sound of ice in a glass when she calls bob

2:15 I just realized what separates me from playing like a good mercy, I would have went for that rez thinking no one would stick to his soul but I would have died to whoever peaked and my ana would have died leaving the Winston alone with soj who was about to push forward dear God do I need to start paying attention

I like the skin overall. Main disappointment is the wings are yellow & there are no special sound effects or voicelines but that's not anything new at this point.

That one lifeguard mercy concept thats been floating around for years with water wings would of been so dope instead of boring yellow ones. Whistle sound effects or ANYTHING would of made this skin worth it. But its kinda mid.
Even white wings would have fit pretty well on this skin...
@@Skiesti I wished her og summer games skin had white wings I know it's an epic but cobalt has blue and fortune has green/red why couldn't the swiss flag skin have white wings to go with the white red c'mon now
HONESTLY Overwatch skins are so disappointing. They either recolor stuff or it feels they put low effort into things but charge extreme prices. I know its probably not good to compare OW to Paladins but i think in the skins department, for way cheaper, Paladins has skins are better,. They completely change their voice and outfit for 15 dollars vs 25 dollars (technically 30)
So yeah the change of the voice is where I go not needed. It’s clearly they need to put more thought into skin voice lines. We all agree Heroes Never Drown. Would have made it amazing! It’s more of the small details are what makes it.
I mean some of the epic skins seem to have more details than they ever had before. I mean come on the Bee Skin??????

I can’t wait for the resurgence of “mercy is op” because of the sojourn changes and their lack of common sense with previous mercy changes.
In terms of looks it's fantastic imo, but it's unfortunate the skin doesn't have any special effects or voice lines...
Really missed opportunity there by Blizzard to make the Mercy community happy

Bought the skin love it besides her staff ‘end’.
I feel like in a lot of skins, the staff end is so bad.
See I play exactly like this and still get called trash in console top 500. Makes me not want to ever play. I feel worthless
tbh i think i only bought it to match with dps who wear summer-themed skins 😭 other than that, I don't think I'll ever use it that much

This skin is expensive and it doesn't even have a different ult voice line and also the wings are still yellow 😭😭 Istg if they put a mythic mercy skin in the battle pass and it has the same yellow piss wings I'm going to rage
would it really hurt to go the extra mile and add new mercy voice lines for the skins? i mean for the price you would think they would give us our moneys worth. im very happy with the skins but if you compare the skins to a game like smite where every skin changes the way the abilities look and the colors of the abilities as well not to mention getting a complete new vgs… i don’t see why overwatch can’t do this…
Right? Like... A LOT of the other heroes skins in Overwatch 2 have included new voicelines but none of Mercy's new ones have
Don't get me wrong, the art department for OW has really been knocking it out of the park with the skins that are coming out, they're amazing, but it would have been nice to have some extra effects or different wing color or new special voicelines for Lifeguard esp since it's a skin that people in the community have been fan concepting for YEARS

it looks like they slimmed down her waist and now her arms are in a weird position
Omg she could have said "everythings going swimingly" it would sound so good wirt her accent
Heroes never wilt would be so good for a nature then mercy skin.
