I definitely feel like I’ve gotten better at mercy because I had a habit of always going for super risky resurrections before watching you. Thanks for these lol
I took a break from the game for most of season 4 and I’ve just come back, movement feeling a bit janky, 2 ranks down… but we will get there ! Thanks for the videos they help a lot haha
I've averaged GM1 to GM2 these past couple seasons. I am interested in getting my open queue into masters or GM as well (it's currently diamond) and after grinding open queue for a day, I went into a role queue game and WOW - my reaction and positioning was not on point. So now, here I am 0 - 3 for placement, watching your mercy gameplay to get me back into the skinny state of mind with mercy😂
when ur playing mercy you shouldn’t be competing with your healers (especially if they’re a main healer like ana she needs that ult charge) ur priority is pocketing
I know it takes time to get used to but I SO HIGHLY recommend people who struggle with DMG boosting to switch DMG boost to their primary especially now that you can make your pistol on either or both mouse buttons
congrats!! :) even when i damage boost 70%, my damage amplified is under 2k lol. i spend most my time pocketing) someone and occasionally healing others if they get super low
@@TamWam_same here! it’s so frustrating because i usually have at least 65% damage boost but i rarely have over 3k. i try to boost certain abilities as much as i can but im not sure why the amount isn’t higher.
@@chloe_limelight7653 it rlly depends on ability boosting and if your dps are doing well. i try to prioritize my pocket but also look for key abilities or ults or just boost ppl that are acc dmging atm
Honestly a good way to deal with toxic players bc it serves as a peace of mind for you and as a punishment for them as they cant communicate effectively with the whole team anymore lol like fuck your yelling

how come at the end of the first round you didn't try to rez or stall? was it to try to keep zero deaths or because you thought it wouldn't work? just wondering! I've kept fights going by rezzing the tank and keeping them up until the rest of the team respawns so I was wondering if it was for the stat
It wouldn't work for a few reasons 1. No one would be able to get back in time if I had tried to stall it out w/ Valk 2. If I went for a rez, I likely would have just ended up dying because of the open sightline and pressure on point. I also likely wouldn't have been able to keep them alive after they were rezzed

With the new Widow nerfs is she a more viable pocket target? I've been trying to help Widows on my team now since I know they're more vunerable but is it a good pocket option?
i think the biggest thing that i get from these vids is how to position, i feel like positioning doesn’t matter that much until you hit gm, so when i was climbing, i didn’t really need to like hide behind a cover and play slow, i could do whatever.

So, fun fact, it's very normal for Ana to outheal Mercy because Mercy's main value is DMG boost and looking after squishies instead of a tank
I switched mercy primary to damage boost yesterday and it was AMAZING. My damage amp got nearly doubled. Thanks.

can't blame widow for leaving voice chat when Sig started tilting as if it helps when you are being yelled at
