Update Firmware for the Hobbywing Axe Foc R2 ist there. Now ITS really quiet. Before The Update is was much louder than The V1.1
I have this combo in my Traxxas TRX4 Sport but on the HW Link V2 app on real time data screen i dont have the history option at the top right like you do?
Think the 540 will fit on a Capra?

I wish I could have gotten my first gen motor replaced (which failed during the warranty period but couldn't get anything resolved during COVID last year) instead of buying a whole new system.
My 3,300 R2 system is on the way. Hope it works out this time.

Hi, I have a hobbywing ax 540 and in the real data option I have no information The engine works fine, the settings are also remembered ESC I have connected to the battery with a Traxxas connector Updates also done In my device I do not have this function or something is wrong?
I could not find explanations about the parameters at speed calculation. I'm Ok with gear ratio, but whats is motor ploe? And Reading tire size is it the external diameter of the tire or is the distance that the tire runs at one turn?

The axe r2 motor makes strange noise in hill climbing... and when we need hightorque... what is the problem?
Firmware Update already fixed that. Now ITS perfect
Will the 540L fit in an axial capra being that it's longer than a standard 540?
540L is 2.27 inches, or 58mm long.

Neat new features. But it's not smoother than the Axe 1 is it ? I read Fusion users say their Fusion is smoother than their Axe 1 - would you agree ?
How is the low speed performance/control with the new 2800kv? Like the 1800/2300kv?

You suck at crawling!! J.k. 😂😂 great review. The only one I have seen on youtube. I have a redcat gen8, I have the axe body on it everything else stock besides leds, I was going to purchase the new 3300kv for 229. Should I do that or see if the gen8 axe is going to include the upgraded motor and electronics and just purchase a new axe.. I am looking to add another gen8 to my fleet....great video.

A very great and innovative product. Very disappointed with distribution. Tried to find a replacement motor to my gen.1 Axe ESC, nobody sells the motor anymore in my region, the only thing left are the combo setup which ESC I don't need as I already have one working perfectly. And I can't use other motor because difference in sensor, and if I get the new R2 motor, it also cannot fit with previous Axe I presume. Now I'm in fear that should my current Axe motor is down, then the ESC will not have replacement motor for it.
Well... I guess I have to get used to lower drag brake quality from the "snake" esc competitor :(

Hi Hobbywing official, Always love all your reviews, one question on trx6, i have plan to buy this hw combo, if i change the BEC to 7.4v, i have change the steering servo to power HD 25kg, but their other micro servo still stock, will it save to set BEC on 7.4v for 3 other micro servo (dual speed n unlock diff) ? many thanks 🙏🏻
It changes all servos to 7.4 even the micro servos.

The micro servos can live at 7.4v if the end points are dead perfect. I personally run castle becs on all of my trucks. That way I can crank up the steering servo to 8.4 and leave everything else at 6v.

@@dodiiidris you're better to leave it at 6v. There are plenty of servos out there that do great at 6v. Or you could get a Holmes hobbies servo that gets its power directly from a battery.
Hi Hobbywing official.. i just got my hw axe r2 550 3300kv, after second run, its sundenly turn on right after i connect the battery, and it cannot turn off untill i disconnect the battery.. esc n motor seem no problems, but just cant switch off or on with the switch..
Btw at second run i wash the car, do you think it have related?

Water shouldn't have bothered it one bit. HW has killer customer service and im sure they will take care of you if you call them or email them. Also, your English is fine.

@@dodiiidris that's awesome! Maybe the sensor wire or something got a little bit of water in it. I always like to gently blow mine off with compressed air after I'm finished. It really helps her the water out of areas where it can sit
@@rc-daily yes me too, always gently blow with compressed air after run n after wash her.. hmm i don't think the sensor wire, because i already warp it with tape, its like switch, because when i open it, it has a little bit water in there...

So yet again another update to the AXE that Forces you to upgrade the entire combo if you already got the previous AXE.... damn hobbywing, you are behaving like FrSky now.
Also there is supposedly 30gr difference between the 540L and 550!!! Yikes! That is a HEAVY MOTOR compared to the AXE 540.
This has no affect on the original combos, and is "Replacing" the AXE.
It is not uncommon for products to get improvements over time. The Axe combos were unchanged in regards to hardware for a very long time.
hopefully this just means the first system lagged proper function and they've found a platform to expand on. I do like my set up and the V2 APP..
@@HOBBYWINGOfficial see I just bought an old combo at my lhs for a lot more than it was worth and now i find out i cant even use the newer motors... I'm pretty bummed.
