This should help break down how these settings work and some simple ways use them safely.
These tests are simple examples, and not a scientific method by any means. Simple bench top examples to go along with the long winded explanations and simple break downs of how these features work.

What hobbywing esc is best for drag set ups. With what motor options?
im going to be purchasing the HW xr10 pro g2 elite...can that run a 4.5t motor just fine?
Could you run both of them together or is it best just to use one or the other cuz I got my Boost setting at 2500 to 65000

Hi nice video, do u have any videos on setting up that futaba radio for drag racing..ramps etc. Anything drag racing when using the 7px etc.
I have a dr10 with a v10 4.5t motor with a 81t 48p spur with 24t pionon and I feel that it's the best set up that you can have or at least in my opinion
I remember cranking the timing up to 60° on a 17.5t Stock motor..
it was screaming like hell..
Can turbo work on a sensorless motor?
What happen with the turbo if I set my controller at 90 percent??

We usually recommend starting around 5.5 - 6.5 turn motors. Most of the "serious" racer groups are running lower turns than that. ;)

I just purchased the Ezrun Combo MAX10 Series (Combo: MAX10 SCT-B, Motor Type: 3660SL 4000KV)
And i am going to use it on a hpi wr8 flux ken block edition for speed runs its got a 46t spur gear what pinion do you recommend?
@@vasilisfellouzis It is always best to start out with a small pinion to be safe. 12-13T type of thing.
What esc does the app work with? The QR10 bl120?

The boost setting wouldn’t be a guessing game if Hobby Wing software showed us detailed Voltage draw through the RPM range like the Maclan..
Do you think they'll add a firmware update in the future too support this? I wanted to get a Maclan but they're out of stock everywhere and the xr10 pro g2 seems like the next best option

Any timing options coming for the 8th scale escs for drag?
There are always things in the works, but the current setup is usable. High RPM ranges are similar to using Turbo.
@@HOBBYWINGOfficial It's usable...but maxing out at 20 degrees of timing...I am getting beat on the big end by guys who have those options.
Charlie! XR10 ESC can use 3.5T HobbyWing motor without burning it?
Setup "correctly" and used "correctly", it's possible. There are never simple answers for Q's like that though. Far to many variables.

Hi I seem to be unable to active my turbo and boost timing,even at 30 deg delay 1 sec full throttle 132ft the car slow still,can u guide me on this.i have xr8 plus g2s..I'm running on 2s lipohv and 2.5t trinity drag master..

The XR8 Series only allows "turbo/boost" when used with Hobbywing E8th scale motors.
