Watched this yesterday at approx midnight. Too late to leave a comment but not too late to laugh out loud at the ending. Also, just got to say that for years I’ve dreamt about having Battalion Wars ships that are closer to real ships in their proportions and main armament, so seeing WFS Endeavor was a dream come true. I especially love how you used U.S. Navy weapons such as 16” main gun turrets and the venerable 5” dual purpose gun keeping the Western Frontier = USA theme. “Where’s my money you little prick?!”
Wow I'm surprised you noticed that about the guns, and I also think BW's ships are a bit goofy-looking and that more realistic "elongated" proportions would do them good
Being chased by a Kaiser Vlad puppet is quite terrifying... The Airship moment I almost spilled my water HAHA KOOPANIQUE. THAT FINAL MOMENT. I KNEW IT ;-;
This is really good! It's nice to see a new animation from you so soon! This short was entertaining and something easily understandable to someone who isn't very familiar with the Battalion Wars games. (I know this is just a joke video and has nothing to do with any actual plot of the games, but regardless, it was entertaining) The opening graphics are great, they look straight from a video game. I also liked the minute personal touches on your POV's desk, like the Gamecube and the video games. The Kaiser was funny, I like the humorous exaggerative voice you chose for him, it's fluid and it makes him come across as an entertaining antagonist which juxtaposes quite nicely with the more intimidating presence of the model itself. I noticed you animated his mouth a bit and it looks pretty good too! I like that the camera rushes out of the house, signifying the urgency of the situation to run away from the Kaiser. I also like that you took the time to add a small scene of the Kaiser opening up the window, which establishes his position currently as well as increases the threat of the Kaiser to your POV- and doesn't make the transition to when he's in the aircraft feel out of place. The looming threat of the Kaiser in the short was well done too. When your POV arrives in the helicopter only to conveniently see the Kaiser in-front of you is charming, and I like the subversion of expectations when the Kaiser's aircraft just gets...Shot down. Out of seemingly nowhere. By an enormous flying ship. The POV getting onto the ship with his money, was great too. Was the captain of the airship an image plane rather than a model like the Kaiser by chance? Model or not, the interaction between the POV and the captain was well done, it's a shame that part was only a dream! (I understand completely the desire to have a new title in a series you love, only for when the only chance you get that new title, it's in a dream! Ha ha) I entirely expected the Kaiser to be in the bedroom at the end, but that doesn't detract from the anticipation I had to see whether or not he was present. Despite expecting his presence, I still felt threatened at him conveniently being in your bedroom again. His presence at the end brings a nice circle tie to the start of the established 'story' of the short. (Also, using Dooplis' theme from Paper Mario Thousand Year Door at the end was very appropriate for the encounter. :) ) There is one minor attribute that came a bit strangely, but other than that, it's a great short! The Kaiser's lip-syncing is a little bit out of sync with the dialogue, but it doesn't at all detract from the short (Also...I know very well from experience that it is very annoying and difficult to sync the mouth with the dialogue, I struggle a lot with lip-syncing, especially when I can't put any audio in Blender as an actual reference for how long a shot takes, so manual editing is needed after rendering- Overall, your animation was great along with the camera work, you managed to capture the essence of a Gamecube type of game very nicely! Well done with your progress and animations, I look forward to seeing more in the future!
Oh wow, thank you very much for this detailed review! Yeah lip syncing is hard for the reason you mentioned, not being able to insert audio in Blender makes it hard to sync the audio, especially if you don't have the audio yet or are not sure whether the dialogue will be subjected to some modification after the render of the animation... I could have edited it a bit more carefully in post but I guess I wasn't paying too much attention for this silly video... This video is full of visual glitches (you can even see the edge of the ground terrain during the second part of the video with the airship, it's awful lol)... Anyway thank you for your comment!
@@koopanique I know it was a joke video in comparison to the much more advanced mods and missions you make, but it doesn't change the fact it's well done. Regardless, have a nice day! :)
These custom missions are getting insane
Man, I wish more people would see the joys BW characters can bring.

Didn’t know the Kaiser is collecting debts…🤔
This is both awesome and weird at the same time. I love it!!
Okay I love how cursed this video is.
With this money we’ll finally be able to make BW3 😭😭😭
Have you given the money to the Kaiser yet?
I'm still on the run. I'm hidden in a small Anglo village right now. Please do not reveal my location.
@@koopanique Copy. Stay safe out there.
@@koopanique Oops, I might have leak your location
