Great musicians creating great music! Everyone is excellent. Anoushka and Pirashanna sound wonderful together as always. Ojas Adhiya is absolutely amazing on the tabla! I have not seen him accompany Anoushka before, but his tabla is to tight to the sitar, especially at the beginning, it is just wow!
Watched her at Berklee Performance Center last year on May 4th. It was special for me because it was my birthday. I left with tears of joy. Now I'm so happy to have stumbled upon the video of the same concert she did at the New York Town Hall. It took me back in time when we are craving for some sunshine and fresh air in the midst of a global pandemic that has made the world right outside our doorsteps appear a thousand miles away.
I couldn't relate more! I saw her at the Royal Festival Hall on my birthday last year. She played the soundtrack to Shiraz whilst the film was being screened behind her. Safe to say I was in tears too!
This is a wonderful story, painted beautifully with sounds that go far beyond your ears, your mind, the heart as it unfolds in front of you. Music of such quality travels far and wide and is timeless as it never gets old nor is it ever modern. It just IS and from there on, it continues to BE. Namaste.

I just saw a video where George Harrison played a practice scale on the sitar for the interviewer (with Ravi sitting next to him) and everyone applauded as if he had just played a symphony. 😂😂
Watching the video just now, but you're right. I've seen him in other videos playing several percussion instruments. Mainly mridangam. In "Bright Eyes" he plays the gatham. So simple instrument and so good to listen to.
