As I was writing the eulogy for my recently deceased grandfather, I thought of putting on your works, as he was a livid Flamenco (and Spanish) guitar lover. I think that now, with my beautiful memories of him and your presentation of the art you have mastered, I was able to combine the groups of words that might hopefully reflect the incredible person he was in his lifetime. The most amazing aspect of this piece is that it seems to have been designed around the idea of making it sound like there had to be two guitars. When you listen very closely you can hear chords being held while the other parts keep going. What an incredible feat of compositional genius to bring the “impossible” to life.
Though Estas is a brilliant guitarist and composer he is using a 'Looper pedal' or device which repeats some melody lines that he plays, see his huge pedalboard near his feet.

The most amazing aspect of this piece is that it seems to have been designed around the idea of making it sound like there had to be two guitars. When you listen very closely you can hear chords being held while the other parts keep going. What an incredible feat of compositional genius to bring the “impossible” to life.

Though Estas is a brilliant guitarist and composer he is using a 'Looper pedal' or device which repeats some melody lines that he plays, see his huge pedalboard near his feet.
