E&K did a collab with him a while back, he also invents things and makes stuff, except he makes pointlessly useful, unneeded things
Evan being a trained engineer might have a lot to do with that. Also, having a wife who is so willing to be involved also helps I'm sure. But it doesn't matter what kind of engineering you go into, all engineers are really only taught one thing: They are taught how to think through, understand, and solve problems. All the lessons I've learned about engineering I've been able to directly apply to other areas of my life. Because life is full of problems.
I feel like a *lot* of other content creators loose their ideas for original content because they spend so much time following trends and copying others. Which makes it _so nice_ that Evan and Katelyn probably start off most of their ideas with, "You know what would be cool?"
Not saying it's bad to draw inspiration from others, but there are a ton of people who do take and don't expound on those ideas. I bet we may see a couple people who were inspired to try underwater streaming in the future!

I love how they are risking all their equipment that probably costs thousands and they use a rusty bathtub to test it
That equipment makes them money, but fixing rusty water in a bathtub they never actually use is a luxury they wouldn't even really care much about. But ya, that is interesting what you pointed out.
But that's how all the best stuff is tested. And I don't blame them they would have to rip open all the walls to redo all the plumbing although it's something they probably should do sooner rather than later.....

@@christiansvideos ya I didn’t understand why they didn’t just use like a go pro and a phone as both are already pretty waterproof, and is easy enough to find a water resistant enough mic to put in a dry mask. Would have taken 30min to setup.

Really need to give Evan’s parents props for getting that pool SO clear!! The before and after of the water clarity is crazy! I know that took some effort and it was amazing! 😻

It's not that hard. They make pool clarifier solution that makes tiny suspended solids clump together and get caught by the filter.
You pour some in the pool and by the next day the water is crystal clear.
They definitely deserve props ♥ thanks again to them if for some reason they are looking through our comments and reply's for some reason 🤣
