Glad it helped. I can't take credit for the battery, that was my buddy Don. The interior will go in with the back piece installed. It's tight but it will go.
You can have two batteries if you have powerful off road lighting. There are modern kits to add two batteries to your 1:1 pickup or Jeep. The truck is looking good ! I would fill those big gaping holes where the hood connects to the cab cowling. But that's just me. I always fill those in with plastic bits if they are big, and putty if they are small. If the hood has a tab molded onto it for those holes I cut those off and sand shape it to look better like a real truck. Just something to think about. 👍
Nice progress!! Coming right along. I’m liking where it’s headed for sure. All of my square body pickups have had only one battery on the passenger side so I like that change.
Nooooooo Not the Auxiliary battery 😅😅 My grandad hat a 75 long bed and he kept a extra battery under the hood it always came handy. So don't worry buddy I'll se d yoi another battery to sit on that tray 😂
Thanks so much! Yep, I've had multiple die when I add new fish. I'm pretty well stocked so I haven't added in a while. This guy was one of my original from over 3 years ago. I put him out of his misery.
i would leave the battery in and use it as a auxiliary battery....not uncommon my 2oo9 gmc sierra has a battery tray on the driver side for a second battery and its a gas 5.3

I agree, I've seen duel batteries on gas engines, and I felt for my application it wasn't needed.
