The fact that Harvey knows teal is a colour is an indictment of the good education you are giving him. My parents were called Edmund and Hillary, they met in late '50s and wed in 1960. They met because of the coincidence of their names. Looking forward to the rest of your trip; take care.
I love that Harvey is getting involved in the filming and capturing parts of your adventures from his viewpoint. Way to be brave crossing those big, scary bridges!
It's so good to see you guys have made your son brave, being a Nepalese I roughly walk 3-4 miles and obvious it would be terrible for me to hike there, your son is one of kind, loved your Trek ❤
Harvey has an endless supply of energy. If only you could bottle that and sell it, LOL ! The experience he is getting through your trips is way beyond what a lot of Americans accomplish in a lifetime. He's a lucky kid. I keep thinking about when he goes back to school and the teacher asks the students to tell what they did over the summer vacation. Harvey: "I went to Nepal and climbed to Everest Base Camp." Other kids, "Huh ?" Hopefully the teacher will use this for a geography lesson (complete with photos of his trip). Continued Good Luck on your trip.
I'm a retired teacher--would *love* to be that teacher! You could build your whole curriculum (if it were allowed these days! )around that---food, geography, art projects, comparative religion, etc. And maybe sit back sometimes and let Harvey teach it. I envy that person really.
I'm 100% sure that EBC (Everest base camp) trek changed your life. i suggest you for ABC (Annapurna base camp) trek too. It's full of adventure like EBC and you'll love it too. Feels good to see your little guy summiting the EBC.
That is some hike!!! The footing and bridges are scary. Glad Harry is doing well with altitude. I followed someone who hiked the Colorado trail with their daughter--had to stop due to altitude--you just don't know. But they should at least be able to help you acclimate as you go along. And yeah, Harry the view is AWESOME!!!
Another great video and views. A trip of a lifetime. Thanks for sharing. Nice seeing the two rocks from Dead Sea and MT. Everest. Harvey is getting good education of the world. Peace be with you and Stay Safe and HIKE ON!!!
Terrific video! Looks like so much fun. Love that Harvey is sporting a cool new watch and backpack. Also enjoy that he is capturing his perspective on video.
In the USA, kids are out of school for June & July. And we took him out two weeks early to trek before the monsoon season started. We try to schedule our adventures around his school holidays.
He goes to public school in United States. His school gets to and a half months off in the summer. So we left our trip right at the end of the school year. Are Appalachian trail trip we did before he started kindergarten?
I love my parents but if I come back in a second life, I want parents like you guys...Harvey is truly blessed to go on such adventures and cultures

Harvey is brave, and the sight of him and the little puppy together is really heart-warming.

Hillary Bridge is actually 410 ft high (125meters), not 100 ft🤓
Yeah I actually knew that. I don't know why 100 ft came out of my mouth. Lol
Love Harvey ❤️ 😍
😮😮
What lodge was that at namchee? Beautiful view and how much you paid
The lodge was called Hotel 8848. I'm not sure the cost, as our guide paid for everything and we just paid him a lump sum. But it was a nice lodge!
I would love to go on a trip like that but my family wouldn't want to.
Just do some smaller trips with your family and get them used to the fun of the outdoors
Harvey is brave
Boss, how do you manage your kid`s education?
