Thank you so much for posting this. Hampden are my no1 rum producers and not being able to get to Jamaica any time soon, this was amazing. Cheers!

My father and his three brothers worked at hamden estates back in the day he was the gate man you had to go through him to get in. When I go to visit him on holidays he always had JB, molasses and sugar at home he would mix molasses with sour orange to make lemonade with lots of ice delicious!!! Never had a tour. That will be my to do list on my next visit. Good tour guide 😘👍🇯🇲🇺🇲big up hamden big up Jamaica 👍💯

I've enjoyed watching this episode of Rum making and historical information. I applaud you and your amazing journey around Jamaica 🇯🇲 highlighting some history it's an 👀 and ears 👂 insight. When we've shown what life was over two hundred and fifty, how the process of making rum and the equipment, mek yuh haffi OMG, but the legacy teaches us all. Great work and the tour guide was outstanding 🕺👏👏🕺😀💯👍🍾🇯🇲🇯🇲🥂👀👂💖

I could take a sip right now. Relief some stress. This is much better and more informative than going to Annie Palmer's house. That gave me the creep.

Looking at how relaxed the workers, and how beautiful the Jamaican scenery is full of sunshine, flowers, and plants... and comparing it to how American workers are locked up working in dark and grey cement places full of artificial light with no windows, how they are running like the Rabbit from Alice in Wonderland looking at his clock, and being treated as slaves in the work place working at any hour as demanded by the job (day/night), standing in only one place without moving, not being able to go to the bathroom for more than 3 minutes, and how you will get fired on the spot if you come 5 minutes late.

Very interesting video of the Hampden Rum Factory, however, I am disappointed that there was no mention of the slaves, who built, worked and died on the plantation. Sad!!! 😢

Too bad this tour is only for those 18 and over. I would love to go on this tour, but my boys are my handbag. I don't have anyone to leave them with while on vacation.
