Unity vs. Unreal for First Person?

    My suggestion - give yourself another few weeks on Unreal and then reassess. Figure out split screen at least then you can make a better informed decision. Whatever you decide build refactoring into your development. Even if you decide to go with Unity the time on Unreal won't be wasted, Unreal will be around for a long time.

      That's a really good take. I'm at least going to try to build the full player movement and split screen in Unreal. I also want to try to build the game and get it running on some lower-end hardware before I make a call.
      On refactoring: I agree. Every time I pick up the project I feel like I need to redesign or refactor part of it. I don't think I am going to escape the technical debt I took on when I started without a significant refactor regardless of the engine.

    The suit was a nice touch, but I would have been more convinced if you wore a tie for your presentations.
