Metallica's song from the album "st anger" lyrics on video enjoy it please suscribe and ask for any song you want and i'll put it here as fast as i can
Glad I'm not the only one to feel this way. I like the raw emotion on this album. I listen to this album more than all 3 90's albums. It's better than all 3. Not as good as the 80's albums though. I'd say it's better than Death Magnetic (though Death magnetic does have 3 really great songs, the rest are only so-so). And I just want to forget about their new album, it's very generic sounding. Add a proper bass player, improved sound quality, and a few solos and this album would really shine. Not that they'd ever re-record it, but who knows. They should re-record it with Rob anyways as their only mistake was not getting a bass player BEFORE writing and recording this album.
"Shoot me again, I ain't dead yet"... This is one of the most powerful sentences I've ever read. What doesn't kill me will make me stronger. I'm going to stand, to grow up and to fight. I just can't fall, I can't fail and I will go through all the problems that will be on my way. I don't want to die, I don't want to suffer anymore. This song is the anthem of my struggle. And I thing it's the same with many people around here. Keep fighting for what's important for you, it's worth it ! (I'm sure I made lots of mistakes, and I'd like to apologise for that. English isn't my first language.)
0:18 is cool 0:41 is possibly one of the best Metallica Riffs 5:12 is where the song should’ve ended and the next riff could be an entirely different song 6:01 are underrated lyrics 6:55 is an amazing vocal moment
I hated St Anger when it first came out . A few years ago I was pissed off about something and listened to it . The whole album made sense all of the sudden , now when I'm Angry I pop this album on . James Hetfield really put it all out there lyrically , and I think the rawness gives it the exact feel it needs .
+Chris Bingham Yes. St. Anger is a result of the pure aggression and rage Metallica had up to that point. Throughout the 90's they encountered tough criticism and St. Anger was both a rage filled answer to the critics and a final release of the pain they still felt about losing Cliff. This album is a terrifyingly amazing nightmare. Well, at least that's MHO :)
"Rawness" "lyrically put it out there" I'm all for instrumental st anger but hetfield blew this album. By rawness you mean he can't actually sing and the lyrics are cliche and overthought for meaning but it's probably just him being lazy
To my point of view, this is one of the best songs in the St. Anger album! Too bad many fans do not really appreciate this album. It might not be Metallica's best album neither the best selling one, but I still like it. Shoot me again is definitely St. Anger's best song!!
The Tito TV Show Even if I really appreciate this song and this album, I would have to disagree, simply because "Frantic" really gets to me for some reason.
the part from 5:15 is pure genius a counterpoint riff , a drum blast beat with the bass drum at the pace of a running heart, that fits af with the lyrics!! Bite my tongue, trying not to shoot back, Not compromise , My heart won't pump the other way!! maybe the best song of the album and more
I know this album is hated but for me it will always be my personal favourite Metallica album. It's what got me into them. Growing up in a home with abusive family life, it was my only escape. I'll always respect Metallica for making this because no doubt it helped many teenagers.
This album doesn't deserve the hate it receives. Yeah, it's raw and it's different, but if you can't appreciate Metallica taking a different musical direction after three albums in the 90's that all sound very similar. Not taking away anything from the black album, Load, or Reload, but they've all three got a very similar feel musically. This was a nice break, even if it wasn't what people wanted. You can hear the anger in every song, it's pretty fucking awesome if you give it a chance.
You know, St. Anger is my least liked album and most neglected album. But this song is very sweet (and angry). It sounds awesome and soothing. I do say this whole album is not what I expect from Metallica, but it is different and enjoyable. Not sure why people hate the change so much when people complain about every song in Kill 'em All sounding the same. So I agree with you.
I hate all of the people who just look at this as a "bad" album. If you aren't going through rough times, or have everything perfectly lined up for you, everything is perfect for you. You won't understand St.Anger.
Funny how some songs can just take you straight back to a specific place and time...this always does. This track helped me pick myself back up and keep going through a really difficult time a few years ago....this pumped up loud in the headphones or on full blast at home got me through some really black days. Discovering Metallica a few months before that time opened up a whole new world of Metal and heavier Rock that I'd never listened to before and without wanting to seem too sentimental, it genuinely did change my life....and so much for the better. I don't get the negative opinions that some people have about St.Anger in general...I have all their albums and have listened to every single track many times over, I like that each album is a little different with its own vibe, it just reflects the band and how they've changed over the past thirty years...what else should you expect? St.Anger has some of my all-time favourite tracks, including this one.....The Mighty Metallica .....respect \m/
It's like Metallica's take on Korn. I really like it. The whole album is unique and while I don't want a St Anger 2, I really like what Metallica achieved with this record.
It's like Slipknots Iowa. They said both will never no matter what happen again. What both bands were going through at the time of those albums were insane.
listened to this album recently with new perspective and knowledge and realised st anger must of been influenced alot by the NU metal at the time and influenced by bands like korn and slipknot which they were probably touring with or atleast seeing at festivals. makes sense they would get influenced by them, there are even parts that feel like an incubus song... i respect this album way more now than i did ages ago, i like it better than hardwired due to the emotion in it.
Conrad Nickelson St Anger better than Load and ReLoad? 🤔 At least Load and ReLoad has some good songs, St. Anger is literally a one-dimensional trip full of Lars’ shit drums and zero guitar solos.
i just think that a fan should support the band at all times, and understand what they're doing, if you're not someone who could support and understand st anger, i think you're just a listener, a critical person, not a lover of their work.
i understand the band were at their lowest point but they've made far better music since then. i just hate all this elitist crap amongst metallica fans that keep thumping it in your face like the bible that the band died with cliff burton. fuck that shit.
Now that James talked 'bout his childhood, how hard was to forgive his parents, bit he finally did, and he fell free to love again, to love his wife (his wife changed his life, so women are amazing), his kids, to talk to Mustaine again and play together (and tour Metallica & Megadeth together), is when this whole album finally makes sense for me. Back to the very start un 2003, and now he's a happy man. Now I love the anger of this album!! Looks like you need to hate first to justo realize you're just hurting yourself, and FIND you have no other option than to forget, forget, let go, love, and keep going, like the Energizer Bunny!!!
I don't care what anybody says, this is my favorite Metallica album! After hearing Frantic, I picked this gem up at a local store, and I am so glad I did! This is my favorite song on the album, has a lot of meaning to me. To go through all the crap I do on a daily basis, it's so nice to get in my car and feel like I'm still alive. People who diss on St Anger aint got piss for brains. Appreciate the different styles of Metallica, this album has deep roots, the band was going through an incredibly turbulent time as they were recording this, and much of that raw emotion and frustration comes out in many of the recorded songs. Many of you ignorant 'oldschool fans' need to lighten the fuck up and stop suckling the teat of older albums just because you're under some strange delusion that Metallica was only meant to exclusively play your preferred style of metal.
Zamandu I agree with you Zamandu. Metallica is dynamic. I love the old school metal. I love the new stuff too! I admit when St. Anger first came out I didn't care for it either. But now I've revisited the album and have grown to really like it! I've gone through much since then and can relate to the raw anger and intensity this album has. Great messages with the songs too! Good life wisdom that I can relate to as well. I can understand how someone under 35 can think this album sucks. Give yourselves some time, let life kick you around a while and come back to St. Anger with a new perspective.
"Many of you ignorant 'oldschool fans' need to lighten the fuck up and stop suckling the teat of older albums just because you're under some strange delusion that Metallica was only meant to exclusively play your preferred style of metal." That was awesome
My pount of view is that load and re were very melodic and slow while st anger it’s something really good with really good riffs BUT, you have to think of st anger as an album by a band called st anger that happens to have kirk lars james and rob in it and st anger is the only album they ever released
I listened to the entire album and hell it has the anger and rage that Metallica had at that time! Maybe this isn't the average Metallica, but kudos to them for trying different things, and be so successful with it!
Rishad D'souza just for you to know .. All nighmare long was originally composed as a part of St. Anger(save it for the lyrics which were changed 3 times). It's demo was indeed slower but the riff was the same.
Battlefield eh? Field James Hetfield James Hetfield in a field James Hetfield in a field playing battlefield with Garfield (Copied from someone else's comment)
I think the biggest problem with St Anger is how it drags on, songs that could be really solid 3-6 minute tracks are dragged out to 7-8 minute chug-fests.
At like 5:25 and 5:40 you could have put a solo, they did in the 7 song remastering. But hey, i am a solo guy but this album still is the shit right now for me
not a big fan of the St. Anger album but i love the aggression of this song and it really pumps me up after having a bad day. makes me think of all the haters out there. f* them!
you guys are crazy that hate on this album and the one before. they are getting back to beast mode after the Newstead split! Trujillo is a bad mofro, he played with Suicidal and many others. they are getting heavy again. thank god!
I'm starting to notice a trend... It seems that the people that never really got out and about in the world and fucked their world up properly are the ones that trash and talk mad shit on this album. Coming from a former fuck-up, this is absolutely my most favorite 'tallica album. Its like hearing Hetfield read the story of my life back to me. \m/
It's because of the tone of the album, and the raw emotion in each song. When if first came out, I dismissed most of the album. It just didn't appeal to me. Years later, coming back to it after going through some shit, you learn to appreciate it more because you know where Hetfield was coming from. People can hate on it all they want, but it's only a matter of time before they go down the same road
I feel like you pulled that “trend” out of your ass. I’ve been through tough times and occasionally listen to the album, but I would not at all call it a good album and Metallica being as big as they are had no excuse to put out such a low effort record
Long time fan of metallica back when cliff was still thrashing! Kind disappoints how they have changed, like this song at the start doesn't even sound like metallica...but they still kick ass man and will even in the after life!!!!
Fuck u. Get off of this video u fucking troll. That's all u came here to do. If u came for the song u would've appreciated this amazing and different album. I think stranger is a work of art and if u don't think so then fine, but I don't want to hear u bitch about it.
Kevin Luper Firstly,I didn't say that this song is bad,I said it's the best off the album.I appreciate them trying to try go with a new direction and sound, but in my opinion it didn't pay off well.(however I think the different, bluesy direction of Load worked for the most part) Secondly, respect my opinion, just because I don't like the album doesn't mean you have to stop liking it too.If you think that St. Anger is a masterpiece that's perfectly fine,as it is for me and many others to think it's a disaster piece (this is coming from a Metallica fan here) And vise versa. You like the album,I respect your opinion,I'm not bitching about it to you or calling anyone else who likes the album 'a fucking troll' or any insults like that. Thirdly,a play on words (St. Anger = St. Awful) and a reference referring to my opinion is not bitching.
because they are mature adults now and i still say death magnetic was a magnificent comeback and it proved they can thrash it out even now man. only a true metallica fan or a true metal fan would know that
To be honest, I loved every Metallica album to the date. I am generally a diverse person in terms of taste in music, and seeing my favourite artist doing grat music in so many diffrent genres and subgenres, is simply a bless to me.

So do I, & I love Ain't My Bitch! 👌
This song just makes me think of Jason Voorhees and Michael Myers.

Finally someone understands me. Fav. part #1 is the best of all!
Just goes to show you. Bad Metallica is like Bad Sex. Still Pretty Good.
J Moa true, very good
wouldn't know its been all good so far bro just keep fucking! whhooo muya ho
lol As if you would know.
ummm bad sex doesn't even compare to Metallica, come on! lol
J Moa
😆
this album got me into the into Metallica this was the first CD I've ever got when I was 6 years old
are you me
+deadduckdown gaming Exactly the same thing happened to me except I was 4 or 5 and it was my father's CD.
+Haydar666Tursu mine was my dad's also
"COME ON SHOOT ME AGAIN I AIN'T DEAD YET" - exactly my thoughts as I play Battlefield
Battlefield eh?
Field
James Hetfield
James Hetfield in a field
James Hetfield in a field playing battlefield with Garfield
(Copied from someone else's comment)
@@larsswig912 fuckin schizo
my favorite song they made
i luv the "all the shots i take"
This is how I feel when listening to St. Anger.
This song perfectly captured my mood last night. Thank you Metallica.
If Metallica fixed the technical problems on this album and some of the lyrics on certain songs this would actually be a good album
i'm a Metallica fan and i love this album,....and like me...there are millions more...i can assure you.
I think the biggest problem with St Anger is how it drags on, songs that could be really solid 3-6 minute tracks are dragged out to 7-8 minute chug-fests.
Exactly
Right my thoughts. And with no solos whatsoever there's nothing to hold the endless march of riffs together.
I think that St.Anger is created from a rough life situation. That's my opinion. I listen to it when life is not great and it helps.
At like 5:25 and 5:40 you could have put a solo, they did in the 7 song remastering. But hey, i am a solo guy but this album still is the shit right now for me
Thank you man :) i feel happy when someone else understands me. stay awesome! ;D
Why have I never heard this song before?
Because this album which this song is from, is probably most hated album from metallica. So underrated, even it has good songs and awsome riffs!
@@TheKarkkihullu Suomalainen?
@@dominickhyvarinen6799 juu olen!
It's been like 20 years and this tom fill is still playing in my head
not a big fan of the St. Anger album but i love the aggression of this song and it really pumps me up after having a bad day. makes me think of all the haters out there. f* them!
i like it.
I want this song playing at my funeral
fuckin brutal!!
Invite me to your funeral
I have this album. Bought it 13 years ago. I like it.
you guys are crazy that hate on this album and the one before. they are getting back to beast mode after the Newstead split! Trujillo is a bad mofro, he played with Suicidal and many others. they are getting heavy again. thank god!
Trujillo was not in Metallica when they made this album. He had nothing to do with it.
+The_Slayer They hired him while they were making this!
It wasn't until after they finished recording the album, Bob Rock played bass on it
reminds of 2010 wrapping up college.
2:04 - "Shoot My Again"
I m from Poland and i love Metallica
great song, but it's pronounced Shoot Me Again, not Shoot My Again
*P L E A S E E N D M Y F U C K I N G L I F E*
It's not *PRONOUNCED*, it's fucking *SPELLED* buddy ...
I love this album.
This song reminds me of Tony Montana at the end of Scarface
This whole album is honestly so relatable.
Amen
Not my fav album but damn, it helps me get out anger and also shows emotion, the lyrics just give me chills
Cole Jenkins amen, same shit happened to me. It just takes some time to get used to that weird sound produced by drumming :D
I feel like you pulled that “trend” out of your ass. I’ve been through tough times and occasionally listen to the album, but I would not at all call it a good album and Metallica being as big as they are had no excuse to put out such a low effort record
This is an experiment. I like it. Let Metallica do what they want, man. Also, most, if not all, the songs in this album can save lives.
Long time fan of metallica back when cliff was still thrashing! Kind disappoints how they have changed, like this song at the start doesn't even sound like metallica...but they still kick ass man and will even in the after life!!!!
Definitely Metallica's best song. Nothing Else comes close.
Am i the only one who hears a clock thicking in the echo-is guitar part at 5:13?
Yep. Fckn crazy
a clock ticking? what have you guys been smoking?? LOL
I faintly hear it. That's all lars.. there is a ringing noise in whatever I may roam. Just don't remember what part
I recognise i'm very late to the party but it's the click track that has bled into a recording mic and ended up on the recording.
one of my favorite albums
Sounds like SOAD to me
Toxicity era definitely
Lobisimos nu metal without rapping, scratching and funky bass lines (it's not a critique, SOAD is one of my favourite bands)
Ics Raider 00 "nu metal without rapping"? Nah, the parts were James says "shoot me again" and this part 5:55 was kind of rap
StockingFan15 The Second Channel you got the wrong definition of rap then buddy.
more like SOAD gone bad
damn right brother! :D i am just happy to see people who really appreciate this album. thanks dude
"All the shots I take I spit back at you" ...
"Shoot me" ...
Is it just me or does this sound wrong? Great song though
''I spit them back at you'' would have been better
no , why ?
Best St Anger song period
Shoot my again lol
This Opening... Great!
This is the best song off of St. Awful,It's sad but, true.
Fuck u. Get off of this video u fucking troll. That's all u came here to do. If u came for the song u would've appreciated this amazing and different album. I think stranger is a work of art and if u don't think so then fine, but I don't want to hear u bitch about it.
Kevin Luper Firstly,I didn't say that this song is bad,I said it's the best off the album.I appreciate them trying to try go with a new direction and sound, but in my opinion it didn't pay off well.(however I think the different, bluesy direction of Load worked for the most part)
Secondly, respect my opinion, just because I don't like the album doesn't mean you have to stop liking it too.If you think that St.
Alright...
I was having a bad day when I posted that and I didn't want ppl insulting the album I use to escape from the bullshit
***** fuck off u bitch!
because they are mature adults now and i still say death magnetic was a magnificent comeback and it proved they can thrash it out even now man. only a true metallica fan or a true metal fan would know that
All the mistakes in the lyrics in the video hurts me.
this song helped my workout beginnings, now i am badass :)
love the part from 0:00 - 7:10
DeformedsTV its seriously the best part
definitely :D
If you listened to it right it's 14:20. lol
DeformedsTV yes, but 7:11 is so sad tho 😭
1 minute and 33 seconds listening to this shit. A new personal record.
what do you listen to oh mr god of music
Charlie Allan Nicki Minaj and Skrillex.
If you don't like this music, what the fuck are you doing here ? Get the hell out please.
Charlie Allan Primarily I listen great rock bands, inter alia, Metallica.
Get back under the table, NOW, you haven't finished yet...
LOVE this song........
is this not a wwe intro's song???
"Shoot me again !" Instructions not clear . I killed my whole family ?
still better than Load
Load was better than Reload I think.
To be honest, I loved every Metallica album to the date. I am generally a diverse person in terms of taste in music, and seeing my favourite artist doing grat music in so many diffrent genres and subgenres, is simply a bless to me.
+NIGHT STORM great*
NIGHT STORM Same i'm not an elitist. The only musical genre I can't stand is the pop on the radio today.
Demon Rantz Its the other eay around for me
I liked it too, but I found it harder to love as the other albums. :) It took me a while to start to feel it all.
Do all the shots I take mean alcohol because of what James went through?
I think it means shots as in fights. You know, when people take a shot at one another?
Yeah and he spits em all back out once drinked... Must have been some toxic stuff
That rip at 5:15 and the way it echos is bad ass as hell
The more I played this and the louder I played it , the more I liked it..I thought this album kicked ass..my favorite song on the cd..
This is 50 cent's song XD
***** why so angry ?
Adrian Tasca
Maybe he got shot too and he's angry about my comment...
***** sorry pal,but until you prove you can take part in a civilized discussion and that you can share a pertinent opinion on a subject matter, you're the one who looks pretty stupid
***** that doesn't even make sense
***** so you're a troll, never personally dealt with your kind before, nice to meet you troll
This song relax me so much.
Oh haha. now i understand your last message.thanks for understanding me bro ;)
It is, this music's made by hand, rap and pop is mostly made with machines..
Metal, rock, all of this stuff will NEVER fade AWAY!
best intro, best song, best band ever...
This song...Don't let Anyone overcome u or fn punk u, cause at end of day...U Will Rise and Rock
