All men want to know by Nina Bouraoui!! Set in Paris & Algeria, explores sexuality, womanhood and growing up between different cultures. Originally in French and the language is not too difficult either.
2:38 This reminds me of one of my favorite quotes by Alan Watts - “You didn't come into this world. You came out of it, like a wave from the ocean. You are not a stranger here.”
moyaaaa, you have recently become my comfort youtuber. whenever I feel bad I go to watch one of your videos, they're so calming. I appreciate you uploading so much, thank you
omg sameeeee🥹 quite a few times her videos rescued me from feeling stressed & anxious..🤍and I’ve recommended her channel to all my friends too.. you’re really amazing moya..🌸
i’ve been watching you since i was in high school, since you were still living in dublin. you’ve always felt like a friend to me. nowadays i’ve been going through a heartbreak, watching you always calms me down. feels like sitting down and embracing all calm vibes with a friend. thank you moya.
you feel like a close friend that sends you those 10 minute videos so yk theyre allright. dear moya, you inspire me. i hope you know how much comfort and motivation you bring video with such a simple videos. i hope i will become such a person to others. i struggle with making friends since i live in very small city (btw does anyone have an advice how to make friends outside school??) so i hope it will become easier when i become an adult and move out to bigger city (in another country hopefully) so please moya, close eyes and just wish that silly desperated stranger a good luck in life
I feel like you would really like Braiding Sweetgrass by Robin Wall Kimmerer. It changed my life. It’s by a Native American botanist who connects Native American teachings of plants and the world with her western scientific lens. That doesn’t sound appealing, but it’s actually super spiritual and when you were talking about how we are made of the same energy as the blooming flowers and the sun rising and setting, it reminded me of the book. So I highly recommend
This is the most amazing video ever! It is so aesthetically pleasing and you are so chill and sweet! Honestly the best thing I have seen on TH-cam in forever!
Yung Pueblo's clarity & connection was my everyday on-the-go book for my subway rides here in Taiwan, amidst the bustle of the city, it live up to its name. 🫶🏻
Omds Moya! How crazy is this? I literally just randomly scrubbed to the middle (ish) of the video and I was really drawn to the quote you shared from Susan Sontag's book (On Photography) (I'm a photographer!) and then I was like to myself, 'let me amazon/google this book' and the front cover looked familiar...only to realise when I walked to my bookshelf that I already had this book; as I casually picked it up last year from my next door neighbour's front yard and stashed it on my shelf! haha how surrendipitously fun! :) loving your videos! thanks for sharing x
not sure if you're into literature, but the Indonesian writer and novelist Pramoedya Ananta Toer - 'The Earth of Mankind' is a great one to understand a bit about Indonesian history under colonial rule. By the way, I really enjoyed your vlog. xo.
I was waiting for your vlog, I love watching them so much!! I hope you’re happy and content with the life in Paris! You deserve the very best and I love watching you partnering with YSL! Hope the man you’re cooking for deserves you
I also did a journal prompt based on Jenny’s prompt and I also love to use Halle Burns “answering every personality quiz” yearly to look at how much I’ve changed every six month to a year! 🎀✨
Moya your videos are so calm and lovely to watch! You should make a 2 hour one with all those nice songs you use and clips of walking around Parisian streets, gardens and museums, I’d put it on in the background everyday whenever I’m pottering around the house. I just love the feeling of existing in one of your videos but they never go for long enough 😂 love from Aus x
hi moya!! it's finals season here and I've been rewatching some of your old vlogs as comfort while waiting for a new one so, thank you!! (sending you lots of love from argentina♥)

Aaah we are so aligned on our book readings, which I lived in Paris and we could do book swap! (+ I love Joe Rogan's methods, have been implementing them and am even going to his retreat in Barcelona in May)
Love your video editing style! Can I ask what you use to get the wide angle shots? Do you use a wide angle lens attachment with Sony handycam or do you use gopro? TY!
