The writing on the yellow plate is actually in Italian! It means "To Fedora dei Soncini of the Po river" and under that "dinner of the aquarius". It was made in Imola (a city in the northern-center part of Italy, near Bologna, and quite famous for ceramics) and most likely it was a celebratory gift

for english books, i'd really recommend the Gibert bookshops (there's multiple ones in Paris, but my fav is the one in the 6th) where they sell both new and second hand books! they have quite a large english books section on the second floor if i remember correctly ;)

Cool vids. Couldn't help but notice the scratched teflon looking pan at 14:35 or so. That teflon stuff is super toxic when scratched / leaks into your food, you might want to consider getting a cast iron pan or scan pan or something.

Ooh, if you like the Mondrian flowers have you seen the Hilma at Klint x Mondrian exhibit at the Tate? It’s running until 3 September and so worth a visit. The art book I purchased from that exhibit is by far my favourite!

There's the Book-off second hand stores that have english books, and each location is different, Bouliner as well but not alot, otherwise if it's just to read them, I was surprised by the city's municipal libraries that have recent english books and great options, you can just sign up for free to the one in ur area and get a card that gives you access to all of them 📚
