Was he sick, having some problems, or is that just the way he sounds now? Band was absolutely great, but I don’t know if I could take that singing for an entire show.
@@vicariousjohnson9823 I'm 59 and I have heard them more times than I can count. I seen them in concert back in the late 80's. He's not even close to how he sounded back then. The band sounded great, no problem with the performance from them. I realize he's much older now. But it's pretty bad when the guitar player sounds better on vocals than the lead singer does.

I was there as well.. my 3rd time seeing them.. saw them open for Leppard twice
I’m surprised they played so early! Usually they play the summer concert in Milwaukee either summerfest or a fair.

Special concert with just Tesla after a Milwaukee Admirals hockey game. People were standing on carpet put on the ice in front of the stage.
Tesla does not headline arenas anymore. This is not 1989. Just a special gig with an audience that was already inside the venue for a hockey game.

Have you ever listened to Tesla before? The dude is 65, I’d say he’s sounds pretty damn close to the way he did 30 years ago, minus some high notes.
