Im 15 years old and have recently found this band and I love them so much so far, it’s so fun reading all of these stories you older people share in the comment sections of teslas music videos. None of the comments are actual hurtful hate towards anyone and I can really feel the good vibes in this “fanbase/community”, I wished my generation would be like that haha
My Brother and I were in our mid twenties summer of 1987, we were building a big house with an Ocean view in the middle of a stand of Redwoods in Little River, California. We would drive up from the Bay Area every Monday morning and drive back every Friday afternoon. We used his little Datsun 210 Sunny to commute to and from! It had a Blaupunkt cassette player and we had just bought the Tesla “ Mechanical Resonance “ cassette tape at Tower Records in San Francisco ! We wore that tape out that summer! Driving through the coast mountains, then along Highway One along the Ocean twice a week through the beautiful California summer, jamming to Tesla, smoking good old California Sinsemilla (oops you shouldn’t know that)! Good times young man! Glad you’re able to enjoy some real Rock & Roll! Pass it on! How’s that for a story!
This was one of the songs that was on one of my mixed tapes my boyfriend gave me before he moved to Seattle in ‘92. I eventually moved out there to be with him but after my father died I moved back home to take care of my mother. Eventually the long distance took a toll and we split and fell out of touch with each other along the way. Long story short we found each other in 2018 on the internet. We were both single so he came to see me and he ended up moving back. It was as if nothing changed. I don’t think we ever really fell out of love with each other. This song takes me back to his apartment on Allen street where we met and the hot summer nights. Memories I’ll never forget.❤️.
Love this story..congratulations ❤for finding each other. Again..❤🎉🎉🎉🎉hope you spend the rest of your lives together it's hard to find a love like this ❤❤❤❤

Many years ago I watched Jeff Keith do a solo country gig in Nashville at the Preston Hotel. After the gig I got to chat with him, and I told him that "Paradise" was my favorite Tesla song. He sang the first verse to me right there... and it gave me chills! Best song ever!
My absolute favorite band ! So underrated , Jeff Keith's voice is one of a kind , Frank Hannon is a beast on guitar , So much talent and so underrated ! \m/ \m/
Pure talent from George after the solo. Straight to rhythm from lead, rhythm to lead, rhythm to lead….you’d swear there were 2 guitarists playing. Dude was sick and had the sickest looking axes of anyone back then.
As much as we love hair bands, he wouldn’t have it, he stuck by his natural hair and natural talent !!!! He is one of the only ones that can still hold true to his high notes. Pure talent!
Modern Day Cowboy...but don't let the video ruin the song for you, if you watch it only watch it once. I just remember thinking "Dude Looks Like A Lady" when I saw it.
Timeless, just timeless. Now I see SO MANY different kinds of ways Tesla fits perfectly into any kind music I love listening to now, any of it...love'em...
Right only we probably listened differently at different times in our lives today I listen and I hear it in a whole new light as another religious song that I have grown to love even more Thank You GOD for Tesla and this song as well as "What You Give", what you give is amazing. Just saw them for my fifth time in Tucson. Made some dog tags I hear made their way into a good luck charm for the band. Maybe? Anyway- Frank was out- condolences- and missed hearing this one. Heading home now- You guys are majestic every single time.
Great song! Between this and Love Song, this is why he sounds the way he does now. These songs shred your vocal cords. His voice paid the price for these amazing songs...

Lyrics
Hold me close now, hold me tight
Don't let go of me tonight
You're all I want, you're all I need
Hold me close now, hold me tight
Don't let go of me tonight
Sweet paradise, yeah
How I love all of those crazy little things
You've said and done for me
You're the one for me
Darlin', dry your eyes
I can't stand to see you cry
Now just turn and walk away
Don't look back when I say goodbye paradise
Days go by and life goes on
I feel I've been away too long
What I would give to be with you
Days go by and life drags on
Feel I've been away too long
For much too long, yeah
And all the while that I'm away
Don't let our love fade away
Don't you fade away
Now as sure as the sun is gonna shine
The day will come
Now I'm waitin' for the day
There'll be no more sayin' goodbye paradise
My sweet paradise
You are the reason why it tears me up inside
And I break down and cry
Didn't wanna say goodbye paradise
I'm comin' home to you tonight
Comin' home to you tonight
So hold on tight
Tonight I'm on my way back home to paradise
So lost without you
Can't live without you
I've been away too long, now
Tonight I'm on my way back home to you
My my paradise, my my paradise, yeah
To hold you in my arms, you're all that I adore
To see your smilin' face as I walk through the door

I've always want to know how it feels to contribute to creating something that touches so many lives. Tesla wrote a big part of my life soundtrack.
One of the best songs ever, and the plugged-in version is even better. How it was not released as a single is beyond me!
An amazing band from the eighties, the nineties and still rockin' today! ❤❤
Still loving this in 2022. Tesla is played daily in my house. Love them even more now than I did in the 80s and 90s.
Love it "It ain't none of your business " Missing Person's
"Good bye Paradise" The piano, guitars and singing is perfect.
Timeless, just timeless. Now I see SO MANY different kinds of ways Tesla fits perfectly into any kind music I love listening to now, any of it...love'em...

Great song! Between this and Love Song, this is why he sounds the way he does now. These songs shred your vocal cords. His voice paid the price for these amazing songs...
It sure did but still love these guys amazing they're still kicking it
27 years ago? What the crap! Where did the time go. That was a really good time of my life.
Don't matter what year it is, I will always be listening to Tesla!
I've never heard this song before today. It is beautiful🥀
First Tesla song I ever heard. And it was off a mix tape made by a guy. LOL. Then I named my daughter after the band!
Kristie Adams Wow, that's deep! Reason i'm comenting is, this is the 1st song that my daughter galvanized onto. She loves it with a passion. 😊. As i read the beginning of your comment, i got thinking. Dude this is my daughters comment in the future hehee.

I wish time moved this slow lol
Reading this more Confused than a groupie at a motley crue concert
@@briansaxton1646 lol.
Wait you are 12 and you went to this concert in 1990 when you were 9 ... Funny you say it because I was 12 in 1990... However, I want your fountain of youth please... 😃
Man the music of the 80s was the best. We need music like this again. My days gone by
my dad took me to see them when i was 11, had a blast and my taste for this music started that night
I think it was Dee Snider who said thanks to Tesla unplugged then every producer wanted metal groups to do unplugged , "Thanks Tesla"
+Jonny Boozewitz Dee Snider was right! :)
KPJ113 GH
I don't mind unplugged, I actually love it as long as it doesn't get overdone
i believe it was jon bonjovi and ritchie sambora, doing wanted dead or alive acoustically at the 88 or 89 mtv music awards that kick off the whole unplugged thing, either way alot of great performance were done on that show, ive heard they going to revive it
dee right about to much unplugged music and to many ballad killed the 80 because the bands lost their balls/energy in their music.
I saw these guys in the 90's with Skid row at Sloss furnace in Birmingham Alabama. What a great acoustic venue.
Music has away of staying in some people's life forever, and there hearts Of course 2024 and some more years❤
Yes 2024 baby. God is a blessing to all of us.. 🙏 God bless this world, and everyone 💓
One of their best I think... Highly unknown and underrated
I want to go back to the 80's after hearing this one. One of their best!
I will have two of whatever Jeff Keith is on ! LOVE this version !!
Agreed
@@daniellejacques3048 he's Definitely on Something wouldn't you say?
And i would take him any night of the week!!!! He is so freaking hot !!!!!!
@@Kellyinct he's always been that odd but passionate physical jerky movements kind of singer. like Joe Cocker, Janis Joplin. great singers and music is not always about looking pretty.
