Got the same rtf ranger charger worked fine, must have got a faulty one. Have upgraded to better charge/discharger for larger batterys.
Yeah, the charger would be the first upgrade with this kit. Very nice little plane.
Does this plane have a 4 channel or 5 channel receiver in it? Looks like flaperons would be nice. It has a nice glide on landing. Being able to slow it down further on landing would be chefs kiss. Nice plane. I’m buying one to train my wife.
I don't recall if it's 4 or 5 channels. I gave it to Freddie as a trainer and I think after the video one of the first things we did was replace the radio with Express LRS and a TX16s.
Great plane to train your wife though. It is a cupcake of a plane.

Thanks for the videos. Looks like a decent plane. I recently got interest into the hobby, went out and bought a tx16s elrs, and your other videos helped me walk through the settings of that radio. I appreciate the teaching videos, I've learned a bit from watching your content.

Does the Ranger have a Throttle Hold/Cut on the default transmitter?

@@RCVideoReviews That's some safty issue that makes the plane hard to recommend to someone new. 🤔
I don't see a reason to fault the plane over a lack of function on a transmitter I wouldn't keep after the first flight anyway. Get a real radio and the issue is moot.
@@RCVideoReviews I'm not blaming the plane. But I do think an arming switch isn't to much to for. I don't think you are able to find a quadcopter package that don't have one. Why would we be offering anything less when our props actually do damage?
Maybe I'm just an old grumpy fool but I do belive in saftey first. 🙂
