I ant get enough of your videos. How the have improved over the past couple years. I was hoping to meet up with you. Well two months ago I found out I has Stage 4 Pancreatic Cancer. I would love to be out there with you guys. There are giving me 6 - 18 months to live. I had just bought a brand new truck Ram 3500 DRW and Arctic Fox 1150. Thanks again! Tim Zeh
Hi Tim, We are glad you have gotten to see the videos progress and stuck with us through the worst of the learning phase :). I am so sorry for your prognosis, breaks are hearts just to read this comment. Make the most of everyday. our love and prayers are with you.
I have to say, your editing, reflections and choice of music make your channel a standout. Thanks for taking that time to do such a good job. Happy New Years!
I'm 70 years old, diabetic with C.O.P.D. I'm a high risk with COVID-19 flaring up everywhere. So I've been housebound for most of the year. I get my nature fix by watching your high quality videos. They renew my spirit. So thank you. Happy New Year and here's hoping 2021 will be better for all.
Ricardo, thank you for stopping in to renew your spirit when your conditions have you at home. We are so happy to be able to take you to these places with us. Stay well in the New Year. xo
Hey guys, loved this video! I live in Georgia, elections coming up, bombing in Nashville, seems our nation and the world is in a chaotic state. Sitting in my man cave, enjoying some coffee and your video, so peaceful and the tranquility, amazing. Looking forward to following you and your travels. Have a blessed and safe New Year.
What an excellent video! It’s easy to get overwhelmed by all the chaos our world is handing us these days, but when you look up to the mountains and the stars, it puts it all back into perspective. We are on this earth only a short time, what we do with that time is up to us. Thank you for sharing your thoughts, lives and adventures with us. Be safe and be well.
I hope you all had a great Christmas... we are having coffee & mesmerized by love your writing, the scenes of Alaskan beauty, and of course EMBER! (I could watch her chase snowballs in slow mo all day long! ) With constant chaos all around, you guys are a beautiful reminder to appreciate the ‘here & now’ and to take time to ‘take a pause’... beautifully expressed! Although, I’m sorry y’all didn’t get to see the star! But, that EmberCAM ROCKS!! You’re a girl after my own heart with the Baileys! Much love & stay safe! ❤️🎄❤️🎄
Hi Kimberly! Baileys is a welcomed treat on a day like this. Thank you for having your morning coffee with us! Christmas was wonderful we are laying low and spending time with family. We hope you guys have a rockin' New Year. Thank you for being a part of this with us! 😁❤️
Always great video from you guys. It’s been a year of learning, loving and soul searching. Looking forward to seeing all the awesomeness that life brings you and you share with us to keep on inspiring us to keep on keeping on. Much love and hugs now and then. Happy New Year 2021 💗 Deb.
You've done it again. The video, again, takes me back and brings back the best memories of my time up there. Watching the exuberance and joy in the heart of Amber, brings a smile to my face (every time) and lightens my heart!!!! You three are an inspiration to me and surely others. You show that enjoying and appreciating the nature around us and the benefits of solitude and self reflection is available to all of us if we are just willing to take the "ADVENTURE". Bless you all for bringing this to us every week. Keep it up@! Please!
Hi Gerry. Thank you for your kind words. We are more than happy to take you back and bring you these memories while we are making our own. It feels like you're right there with us. We will keep it up, every now and then we take breaks from picking up the camera and put out a bigger and better video the next week. We will keep exploring! ❤️❤️. Happy New Year!
@@WingsandWheelsAlaska important to “sharpen the ax”. Enjoy your New Years travel. We’ll be here when u get back. Happy new year. Here’s to a 2021 with fewer challenges and more opportunities
Thank you for this wonderful video. Your speaking voice is wonderful, so clear and well paced. It is great that you do not talk endlessly but allow the viewers to experience your videos without listening to someone drone on. So we'll done, thank you. Love your pupper and her joy!
Another awesome video!! Cynthia, I love waking up Sunday mornings and hearing your mesmerizing voice narrating the beautiful scenery :) It's sooo peaceful! Jim, you are an awesome cook, I love watching people cook with Love :) YUM...I want a reindeer, egg bagle!!!! Ember has the best life :) Thank you so much for sharing!!!
Hey My Friends, so love the story telling makes us relax and enjoy your story..We stayed up till 1:30 here to see the star but nope nothing , froze my but off and woke up with sniffles lol, but doing ok now .Was working on my other channel and stay warm .It has been the coldest days of the season here and the temps are crazy haven't been this cold in a while. How funny I feed our dogs the same canned dog food so crazy how much we have in common. Wish you all was here we would have a blast together for sure. So cool how you faded in and out in this video, would love to learn how to do the fading out of the picture, thats so neat, you have a-lot to teach me for sure. love the "just us and Mother nature" but dont for get the baileys lol. Love that Amber cam she looks like she has so much fun and the music was awesome there too :) When Carlos Cooks Breakfast he always does eggs over hard with cheese on it are you sure you guys arn't related here hahahaha. Cynthia what app do you use for the planets we tried to use ours it was all messed up lol.HAPPY NEW YEAR GUYS!!!!! hope it will be better then this one was :) ly guys
Hello!!! I got your text. I have a couple of suggestions so I’m holding off until I can watch and respond. We really do have so much in common! The editing tricks...my goal has been to learn one new thing every week and try to put it into a video. I’ll watch a “how to” on color correction or transitions or sound. This week, wanted to learn how to “ghost” a shot. It’s not hard! Final Cut Pro wasn’t the easiest program to learn but after using it about a year now it feels second nature. The app I use is Skyview lite for star gazing. I’m glad you’re feeling better and you survived those cold temps. Have a wonderful week you guys! We’re hanging out with our family this week and it’s been fabulous! It’s been far too long since we’ve all been able to be together. Talk to you soon! Xo
The snow is beautiful but not the cons air that goes with it. This was a great video regardless of you not skiing. You had fun with Ember. She loved the snow as much as the water in the lakes or rivers. You all had fun and Jim made those delicious egg deer sandwiches. Glad you were all bundled up for the cold weather. Hope you enjoyed your Christmas and I hope you enjoy your new year. Happy New Year! Looking for a brighter new year and more of your great videos. Stay safe and travel safe. See you next year!
Hi Brad! With my cold weather gear I stay toasty. Jim doesn't take the time to always fuss with stuff like gloves and coats. It's a ton of fun and always nice to get in the van and stay warm and do........nothing. :). See ya soon hun. xoxo
At 25:20, that hill looked PLENTY big on my screen, the sort of thing that would screw up approach or breakover for sure. Impressive you got up that with so little fuss.
Thank you! We weren't sure how it appears in the white or on the screen but on the second attempt I had a very close eye on it. More and more confidence in the 4x4 with the weight. Can't wait for the suspension upgrade! Thanks for being here.
Just found your videos and as I sat out in my van I found the peace I was searching for in this turmoiltous time. You’ve given hope that no matter what life throws at us the world and nature will persist. Thank you!
JUST SUCH A PLEASURE TO WATCH YOUR CHANNEL,X STAY SAFE AND WELL, TWO WORDS THAT GO TOGETHER SO WELL, SNOW AND SNUGGLE, BEAUTIFUL, GOD BLESS ALL THREE OF YOU X UK
Thanks for a very well put together beautiful video. After seeing your first video, I immediately subscribed. I’m looking forward to your next video. Thanks again... Jim from Minnesota.
Hear hear! Absolutely THE BEST Videography of van lifers on TH-cam! Your videos truly are heart warming & bring inner calm and peace! Thank you for the gift you unselfishly give us each and every week. I pray that you and yours have a wonderful New Year and that 2021 allows you to soar to even new heights!
YES!!! I was SOOOO hoping someone would catch my Crystal! My mom and family is from Edinburgh. That glass is a set of 4 and that mean the WORLD to me. I've had them for years. Sometimes the whiskey gets poured into it, sometimes the tea bag. I'm soooooooo happy you noticed. My hubby doesn't even know how special that glass is to me. Ya made my day! 😁❤️
Another wonderful video. Took your advice and found Rob the Overland Gear Guy. His shop is in North Salt Lake!!! So I went to visit. He fixed me up with the window “warmers”. And the divider tween the front seats and the back that replaces the army blanket. It’s also is a outdoor shower curtain in the summer. Rob says to say Hi and to be safe up there. I can’t find anyone who does the outside treatment here in UT but I sure love that Idea. Be safe and continue to have fun on your adventures. I need to hold off on our adventures until I can get both of us old guys safe from the virus. We are next up on he list after the nursing homes. So looking forward to new long road trips. Barb Beck
Hi Barb hopefully we cross paths at some point! We love Rob's products and would probably be broke if we lived near him hahah. We have so many custom ideas that we would have them working on! I am sure there is one of those companies there just try to find bedliner companies. The one we used is a high heat high pressure application. Definitely stay safe that is the most important thing the adventure will be there for you once you know it is safe to travel.
Happy New Year to you both. May the Peace and Love that only comes from a much higher source always be your portion. I am so grateful and thankful that even if I miss the fellowship of my Christian friends at church I am bless beyond measures that I was lead to this channel for some real comfort and peace from the same source. Thank you both so much.
Kathleen we are grateful that you have been led to us to find peace and comfort. We are so small and this universe sooo big and here we are in friendship in the most unique way. We're cosmic dust in all of this. You are a huge blessing to us as well. Have a beautiful day!
I hope the new year brings better things for all of us. Jim got those bagels done, as he was handing them toward you Ember looked up at him like she was asking him where was hers.
Hi Terry. We hope this New Year brings you one step closer to your goals and dreams of Alaska. Thank you for all of your continued support, putting Jim in his place (😁) and really just sticking by our side all this time. We hope to have the chance to meet up with you this year. Cheers to 2021
Alaska the beautiful. I keep saying it over and over, every video y'all put up just confirms that Alaska is a place I will visit and enjoy. I also agree with everyone else the camera work on these videos is amazing. Thank you for sharing.
Another top-notch video from you two! You’re correct when you suggest that an effective way to get through a problem is to find the humor in it. There’s much to be said for determination, courage, and perseverance in the face of adversity. I loved the scene where you thanked us for coming along with you in the beginning. The scene is composed of that which is fixed (unwavering)(the rock on the left hand side of the screen), and the van center screen transitioning to the right, indicating a successful avoidance of that which is insurmountable in your lives and tracking toward that which is free (moving down the path laid out before you). It speaks to your lives as you navigate through this tumultuous time - further demonstrated by the brief passthrough in the frame of your dreamcatcher as is traps the negative coming at you and prevents it from wreaking havoc in your lives until the Sun can bake it away. Interesting that you were contacted by your Troopers. It’s always good for them to know where people are when there’s a storm with gusts upward of 100 MPH. This way, should things get REALLY bad, they know exactly where to go in order to evacuate you. Given your quest for seclusion in such a spectacular location flanked by a breathtaking mountain range, one can only see it as a positive. I loved the visuals you give in your words about breaking apart into a million pieces to exist amongst the stars. I was once told that every atom in our bodies was born in a star billions of years ago, and that we are just the stars trying to experience something different for the brief moment in time that we’re on this planet. That’s why when the sun comes out (our local star), we always pause to feel the warmth of its rays. We’re family. The boiling water in the very next scene only speaks to this with more prominence. As cold as the snow gets, and long as the nights get, it’s the warmth of the sun that truly gives life to us all. I absolutely loved Jim’s way of starting the fire. Those Duraflame logs are a staple in my house too. While it was cloudy, at least you had the moon peaking through from time to time. It’s unfortunate that you missed getting to see the conjunction. I missed it too as it was pouring down rain all those days. The drifting camerawork to close the scene was also telling in that you chose to bring the camera down (away from the stars and moon) than toward them. Is it any wonder why we’re so fascinated with watching snow fall? Illuminated as it was, they look like a million shooting stars, and what do we do when we see a shooting star? We make a wish. The next scene of you waking up only affirms this the more in that what do you show? Your dreams have been filtered by the dreamcatcher and only the positive dreams have made it through to you. The entire scene of Cynthia and Ember out in the snow evoked references to the film “Arrival” starring Amy Adams, in the look, mood, and cello music (one of my favorite films). It’s a simple scene that doesn’t show much, but makes your audience “feel” as you fade through several clips. Fantastic job! The scene with you making coffee is telling in the intentional tilt of the camera while speaking about “pause” and “moments days”. There’s a stillness there in that tilted view of your world exists in a manner that may only be corrected with caffeine. I have to admit, I whole heartedly agree. The soft music and the Bailey’s in the background is a sign that the calm from before persists. Jim speaking about Mother Nature making her own plans for us certainly rings true in that we’re always at her mercy and never know what we’ll face from one moment to the next. Seeing how happy Ember is when Jim’s throwing her duck as she takes us all along with Embercam is so good to see, especially when she gets back to Jim and she starts shaking off and Jim’s seen bracing in the background for the impact of all the potentially flying snow. Jim’s brunch idea was awesome, as is the norm for all the things he cooks. I was surprised he chose not to go with scrambled eggs, but it still worked well. The Chipotle Mayo was a great addition too. I loved the scene where Cynthia makes a snow angel, but unfortunately, she doesn’t show it to us when she’s done. It’s still an awesome scene, especially with Ember looking at her curiously, wondering just what on earth she’s doing. The ending comments about gathering up the pieces of our broken selves, spoke difficult truth for many people. As someone who’d been shattered a few times myself, I’ve found that a fair amount of those pieces were never successfully recovered. Cynthia, you’ve certainly found your stride in narration of your videos. I’m so happy that you chose to embrace it. You’re almost at 20k subscribers. Keep up the great work. You’ll be at 50k in no time!
Good Evening Brian - We hope you had a peaceful Christmas and an upcoming New Year. Funny thing about the troopers is we initially thought we were in trouble. They made two passes on their 4 wheelers and Jim got out. He said they saw us drive by (we had seen them several miles back in a car). I think it’s great the followed us back on their 4 wheelers. They said they wanted to check out the van....but I’m fairly certain they were wondering what the hell we were doing. We have a couple of friends that are Troopers and they’re an amazing group of people up here. They have a great job! The area we were in gets really busy on the weekends with lifted Jeep’s and Tacomas. Once we have our lift I have no doubt we will pull right up on that glacier! We were a little chicken this go around. It’s always that balance between wanting to take care of our rig and explore. We may go out with some friends we’ve been talking to as a group. We’ve never done anything like that before...I think it would be a blast! I’m going to put that move “Arrival” on my to watch list. Those duraflame logs are the best! They’re kind of a pain to lug around (we try to carry them by the case) but they also have the smaller versions as well. It’s whatever we can find, but they never fail us. It always seems strange to some that we even start a fire and don’t use it to cook, but when we’re feeling cooped up inside it’s such an amazing feeling to stand around it in the cold and look at the sky. Oh! The part I wrote about how we felt about throwing ourselves out into the atmosphere....that was written that night while we were sitting there. I was SOOOO hopeful for some night sky shots to go with it but we went to sleep because of the clouds. 😂 I love your perspective on that! Well, your perspective on everything really. This was another one I wasn’t certain about putting out. You know, sometimes we finish editing something and we’re like “Yay, I like that!” and other times we will click upload and I want to crawl in a hole. It’s interesting for an introvert to put themselves out there like this and grow at a pace I never expected or really wanted. I think Jim and I are growing along with the channel, if that makes sense. The outlet for creativity that I’ve muffled for so long..it feels good. Really really good. I can’t thank you enough for being a part of this journey with us! We will talk to you again very soon. Cheers!
For not doing much in this episode you sure made me feel like we did so much and I had a great time with you guys hanging out in the Alaskan Wilderness and playing with Ember & hoping to see the Conjuncture. Don't feel bad, I couldn't see it here in Irvine CA either. Thanks for sharing. Happy New Year and thanks for the positive outlook for 2021. See you both next year.
Good afternoon Ara, We are glad you are on this adventure with us. Pity you couldn't see it either. We were hoping we would just get a little break in the clouds. Happy New Year!
another beautifully narrated video showing the peace that can be found in the wilderness. I only experienced AK in high summer with temps in the humid 90s! I was gobsmacked that the local PD came out to make sure you're ok. Just wow! Hope you had a good Christmas. Best wishes from a soggy stormy UK x
Hi Sammy, the trooper was more interested in the van when I was talking with him. Was curious about our setup and sustainability. They were both very nice and were just out patrolling on their 4 wheelers. I think they were surprised we were so far out there in a van :). Happy New Year!
@@WingsandWheelsAlaska no wonder they were surprised! am glad it gave you reassurance they knew you were there. you driving out onto the ice have me palpitations but I could see previous tracks there. I've seen enough Ice Road Truckers to know you can't be complacent 😲😁👍 Happy New Year to you guys too, and smooches to the pooch 🐾❤️ x
Have to admit that your reindeer sausage bagel sandwich is a long way from my BLT - bagel, lox and tomato :-) I wish you a great and safe New Year and looking forward to your 2021 travels. Stay healthy and safe.
Hi Doris, thank you. They're my fleece PJ's. Before I go to bed and when I wake up in the morning I do a walk around the van. It's somewhat of an OCD habit to check my surroundings and those pants are my FAVORITE to go out in. We're grateful to be able to bring Alaska back to you.
Oh BRRRRR! Loved this video. Your music fit so perfectly! I sent this one to my son in Talkeetna. They have been skiing every day, even the three year old. We still do not have snow here in NC. That eagle was amazing. I just cannot imagine how cold you are though! When I walk Biscuit at 12 degrees in my down jacket, hat, boots and gloves it takes me 20 minutes to get back to being warm! Ember is still having fun, but I wonder if she dreams about swimming in the rivers. Those bagel sandwiches looked so good! New adventures ahead. Love to you.
Hi Sassy! I was cold on my morning walks with Ember when I just had my PJ's and a hoody on, once I got my layers on it turned into a quick walk. :). The sandwiches were so good! He's never done that before so it was really special. Thank you for coming along. Happy New Year! 😁
We feel the same! We watched you play with your beard last night and while Jim put on his own oil it was a blast teaching him how to use it. The Hairdryer!! 😂. The smell is Ahhhmazing. (I even stole some stash wax and used it on my lips 💁🏻♀️) Jim's a slow study but I have no doubt he's gonna sparkle for the New Year. Happy New Year Guys!
@@WingsandWheelsAlaska HA, awesome! The balm is amazing for chapped hands too. I have been able to watch a few of your videos now, the biggest problem is I want to road trip now! You guys have motivated me to put at least a little more effort into our TH-cam too, thank you!
Another beautiful Sunday video, Thanks. Is that an induction pot you are boiling water in? We are looking for one that is quiet! It is really nice you can TRUST you Revel for trips like this. Please keep the videos coming.
Hi John, We use an electric kettle. We linked it in our Amazon store. It pulls a little more power than we would like so we do have to turn on the engine when boiling water but that is ok :). Happy New Year!
At about 8:46 or so, the dog is beckoned outside for dinner. No verbal response but the body language reads clear, "Are you kidding me?". Jim's response, flatly, "Ember." Ember's answer, "well, uh, OK...." Such a good dog.
Hi guys loved your video woww you did get out the way, driving on a frozen river lake woww it must have got very cold, we keep laughing at the duck when ember carries it and its neck hangs down, makes us laugh lol. stay safe love you guys michael and kim uk
HI Michael and Kim. It never really feels "cold. I know that sounds so sooo weird, but it's not like the bone chilling wet rainy seaside cold. This type of cold is bearable because it's dry. So with gloves and clothes on its....actually really warm. We can't wait to go back to the actual glacier and drive up to it, but not in those conditions for sure. And that duck head still cracks us up as well. Happy New Year you guys! See you again soon!! xo
Always look forward to your amazingly beautiful videos, your soothing voice, and of course Ember. Loved the huge drifts of snow and your snow angel. Make one for me. Love you 3 ❤❤❤ Looking forward to getting up there one of these days, if things can turn around. Much love & hugs to you ❤❤❤❤
We’ve been following along on your adventures as well and I have no words to explain how incredibly inspirational you are! When you get up here (there is no “if”) us ladies are going to hop in the vans and take this big beautiful state ON! I can’t wait! Sending you love and hugs right back at ya. ❤️
Good morning from Mr Bill. Wow!! What a amazing video. Love the background music, trying to figure out who's operating the drone and who's driving the van. I'm off today so, this is why I'm doing my short message to you. Glad the AK troopers checked in y'all. My wife and I are doing good. I'm just concerned about the new diabetes shot is giving Belle all of the side effects. She's a trooper and pushes on. Well, since I don't have any other updates, Mr Bill is sending virtual hugs and ❤ to y'all. Please be safe, stay warm. Until next time.
Hi Mr. Bill this new drone is completely autonomous and uses GPS to fly. it has sensors all around it so avoids obstacles. We are glad your wife is feeling better! That is a huge blessing. Happy New Year ❤️
Hi guys, First let me say Merry Christmas and hope you and your family had a wonderful time together. Now as usual the video was wonderful, love the scenery. I see Ember is having a good time in the snow... Jim's breakfast looked yummy... Thank you for sharing your adventures, you don't realize how much they mean to all of us... Hope you have a wonderful New Years and look forward to your new adventures of 2021 xoxo James
Hi James, we hope this summer is treating you better than last summer weather wise. Crazy to thing we have alternating seasons lol. Those bagels were delicious! Happy New Year and we hope you had a great Christmas as well... hmm do you spend Christmas at the beach? funny thought of Santa on a surfboard :)
Just wanted to stop by and let you both know how much I enjoy your episodes. I’m usually watching on our Smart LG TV so I can’t comment there (not THAT smart I guess). Currently watching Copper River Reds episode. He’s hacking down to his favorite spot. Hope he scores. We are currently planning our UP trip for later this summer (2021). Planning on flying up to Isle Royale NP for a day! Keep up the good work and hope to get to Alaska sometime in the next 5 years. Yes, it’s a bucket list trip!
Hi Tony - Awesome! Thank you for taking the time to comment away from the TV. Please keep in touch with us and reach out when you make it up here! We're looking forward to the day we can hang out with people on the road up here!
Watching from my own cozy RV in almost polar opposite, Arizona. But when you got the teapot out, I had a sudden hankering for a cup of tea too. Such a beautiful video.
Thank you Joni. Isn't it amazing how we enjoy views into other peoples worlds? We do the same thing from time to time to experience something different than what we're seeing. So happy to have had tea with you. 😊. See you again soon.
Just amazing camera, drone and editing. The narration and sound tracks just beautiful. Such a wonderfully done video against that landscape. Thank you for sharing and allowing us to join your adventures. Peace and Calm to all. 🙏🏻👍🏻😎🇨🇦
We weren't able to see the Conjunction either, always seemed to have clouds. A week ago we had over a foot of snow to walk the dogs in and now after 50+ degree weather on Christmas and well over an inch of rain with winds are back down to bare ground and the frost is working on the earth. At about 27 minutes did Jim uncover some extra lights on the front grille? Ember didn't know what to do while you made the snow angel. I got my work cut out to do now -- got an instapot for Christmas, need to read up on it. Safe travels to you three.
Hi Michael! The look of fresh snow is beautiful! Terrible that it melted. We have a 20 inch light bar that is on the bull bar. We have covers for both light bars but we haven't been able to put it on the top one yet due to snow and ice. Once it melts we will start covering that one also when not using it. Some states (not Alaska) require covers and it does help protect the lights from debris etc. We will keep posting some new recipes. The kids got Jim an accessory kit that goes with the Instant pot for Christmas so I am sure he will be coming up with some interesting stuff soon :). Happy New Year!
You are just amazing. I was on pins and needles waiting for this video to come out so I could begin again my daily binge watching. I love your stories along with the background music. How you form words together and just show us exactly what you see and hear and enjoy. It's so amazing........... ANYWAY TELL JIM watching him cook with the Insta POT help me figure out how to turn off the POT. I kept unplugging it. ..........Then I saw him push the "CANCEL" button. HAHAHA . I got it for Christmas from my daughter and opened it early and start cooking in it. I guess I should have got directions and read them. It is so cool to see him cook up a meal. I love the Turmeric Products, teas and spices. It is so amazing how Jim can call Ember's name before she re-acts.
Good Evening Kathleen! We are so sooo happy you enjoyed this one! I told Jim he taught you how to turn it off, but he also has a confession to make, it took us FOREVER to figure that out. 😂. The original instant pot took a tumble right? When we got the new one we didn’t have the instructions so it took some time to figure that out. So you’re no alone on the directions. How do you like it? We find it makes the perfect amount of food. And yes, Turmeric in all things. I used to take the caps but I ran out. Ember is very very well trained. You might notice Jim has some k9 experience and Ember has much of that training but isn’t officially a “working” dog. She wont eat unless it’s on command. That’s why her play time is sooo sooo special to her. Just a heads up, we dropped the van off today to have another upgrade so we’re spending time with my mom and family. It’s supposed to be completed by Friday, but we will see. We may or may not release a video on Sunday but promise to keep you posted. Happy New Year! There’s so much good to come!! Xoxo
I Thank you so much for the beautiful reply Cynthia. I cook so much in the Insta Pot now and I am experiencing all kinds of new recipes. I made me a grilled cheese on the sauté button and also made me a hamburger on it also. I am so blessed to have been lead to your channel. Ember is so cute. I love watching you both play in the snow. I know you may not can say this BUT I can. GOD knew what I was going thru when I started watching your channel and He knew I needed that calmness and peace you put out. I cant explain it all .I just know how peaceful I am after listening to your channel.@@WingsandWheelsAlaska
Thank you for your continued excellent visual storytelling! The videography, music, narration, and editing are all very well done. But more than that, the message is always deeply introspective and compelling. There is something really special going on here, and I’m grateful to tag along on the journey. Thanks again Namaste✨
Burrrrr! You guys are building my confidence in my 2021 Revel helped by my almost cross country trip from Massachusetts to Arizona. While watching this video adventure I turned up the heat in my Arizona home just because watching made me chilly.
Hi Ken, You should have no problem with that trip. We would recommend spending the first night near your dealer just in case there are any bugs to work out. Congrats on the Revel and Happy New Year!
Thank you once again for the amazing video. I enjoy your choices of music. Your relaxing voice and the alaskan landscape just mesmerizes me. More importantly thank you for always sharing your nuggets of wisdom which we overlook as we are overwhelmed by our own concerns and anxiety. Praying for a better new 2021. Keep safe you two and Hugs to Ember❤️ Happy New Year🎉🎆🎊
Hi! Yes! We took it through Canada up to Alaska and our plan was to return to the lower 48 with two trips planned during Covid. We're here in Alaska until it's safe to travel and explore through Canada again. Thank you for being here with us. 😁
I’m continually amazed at the camera work of these videos. Really well done.
Thank you Brent! We appreciate hearing that. Have a Happy New Year!
Tim Zeh

Hi Keith. That is really kind of you. Thank you. Happy New Year to you as well. We're looking forward to it! xoxo
Thank you, this is my escape every weekend. Great video.
You're very welcome, we are so happy you're coming to escape with us. Thank you!
Stay well in the New Year. xo
Amazing! The ghosting of you and Ember shot was beautiful! Love it. Look forward to my weekly bliss and starting my week positivity ❤️
Thank you Amanda. I had a fun time learning how to do that. We're happy to bring you positivity each week. Happy New Year! ❤️
Hi Charles, we are glad that you can escape into the wilderness with us. We hope you are doing well and that you have an absolutely amazing New Year!
So true Nancy. We are so small and even more so these days we need perspective. Have a wonderful New Year! We will see you again soon.
Another awesome video! Thank you! Stay safe!
Thank you Terry! Happy New Year!
I'd say you guys knocked it out of the park.. Great job thanks..🤠👍
Thank you! 😁
Always great video from you guys. It’s been a year of learning, loving and soul searching. Looking forward to seeing all the awesomeness that life brings you and you share with us to keep on inspiring us to keep on keeping on. Much love and hugs now and then. Happy New Year 2021 💗 Deb.
Hi Deb, Thank you for all of your support and advice. We hope you have a blessed New Year!

Xo
What a way to end this crazy year. Looking forward to tagging along with yall in 2021
Happy New Year
Thank you Michael, We hope you have a Wonderful New Year and we will see you soon!
Hi Sherri. Thank you! It was certainly a beautiful couple of days. Thank you for being here!.
Looks cold but also looks like fun. Hope to one day experience it first hand. Please stay safe.
Hi Brad! With my cold weather gear I stay toasty. Jim doesn't take the time to always fuss with stuff like gloves and coats. It's a ton of fun and always nice to get in the van and stay warm and do........nothing. :). See ya soon hun. xoxo
There are parts of your videos that I like to rewind and re-watch or re-listen to. That's a first. Nicely done you two.
Thank you Darrell. We are glad you enjoy the videos! Have a wonderful week!
Great video! I especially enjoyed seeing you push the capability of the van and film it in action on the way out to your camping spot.
It's been so sooo long since we've been out that way. We got lucky. Looking forward to going back. 😉.
@@WingsandWheelsAlaska Definitely!

Love the videos guys watching from Edinburgh same place as your Crystal tea bag catcher is made.
Greetings from Southwest Michigan. Thanks for sharing your adventure with us. Safe travels.

Always careful, we aren't kids anymore 😁❤️😁
Okay. .Thank you for answer. .have a good holidays. . :)

Y’all got it made. Thank you for sharing your experiences. I love the vids.
It's been a great ride. Thanks for being here with us Brent. 😊
Tell Jim - Mike said we might have to duplicate that reindeer bagel here in Florida... lol 😂
Hi Kim, so so tasty! Just editing it made us want another one :). Happy New Year!
Beautiful cool 😎
Thank you!
another beautifully narrated video showing the peace that can be found in the wilderness.
Loved loved loved the plaid pants. Many thanks for the effort you continue to put into your videos. I am grateful. How I miss ALASKA....
You bring so much peace in these troubled times.Stay warm safe and healthy. Thank you so much. Happy New Year!🌞

Beautiful video. Awsome camera work. Merry Christmas and a Hapoy New Year🎉
Thank you! WE are glad you enjoyed it. Happy New Year!
So glad I learned about you guys! Love the pup and the van, I mean you guys are ok too...
We feel the same! We watched you play with your beard last night and while Jim put on his own oil it was a blast teaching him how to use it. The Hairdryer!! 😂.
The smell is Ahhhmazing. (I even stole some stash wax and used it on my lips 💁🏻♀️)
Jim's a slow study but I have no doubt he's gonna sparkle for the New Year.
Love the narration good job on video have fun Merry Christmas and happy new year
Thank you Chet! 😊
At about 8:46 or so, the dog is beckoned outside for dinner. No verbal response but the body language reads clear, "Are you kidding me?". Jim's response, flatly, "Ember." Ember's answer, "well, uh, OK...." Such a good dog.
Ha, yes, she is very well trained that way. 😁. Thank you for watching!
See you again soon!! xo
Thank you for this amazing video!! Nothing but love...😊
You are so welcome Craig. Thank you for being here. xo
Always look forward to your amazingly beautiful videos, your soothing voice, and of course Ember. Loved the huge drifts of snow and your snow angel. Make one for me. Love you 3 ❤❤❤
Looking forward to getting up there one of these days, if things can turn around. Much love & hugs to you ❤❤❤❤
We’ve been following along on your adventures as well and I have no words to explain how incredibly inspirational you are! Soooo much YESSSS!
The drone has a “follow me” mode. :)

Hi Mr. Bill this new drone is completely autonomous and uses GPS to fly. it has sensors all around it so avoids obstacles. We are glad your wife is feeling better! That is a huge blessing. Happy New Year ❤️
Hi John, That is the main purpose of this one :). But does it by GPS. Happy New Year!
Now you do Mr. Bill!
Hi guys,
First let me say Merry Christmas and hope you and your family had a wonderful time together.
Now as usual the video was wonderful, love the scenery. I see Ember is having a good time in the snow...

Hello hope you both have had a good Christmas and hope you both have a good New Year and keep the channel going love from England
Thank you Paul! On a little break which is always nice. We will get going again in a few days completely refreshed :) Happy New Year!
You're very kind Gerald. Thank you. 🙏 😊
You should put some more lights on the front, lol looks good bet it really helps in the winter.
They definitely make a huge difference and turns things to daylight. Keeps us safe from all those darn moose in the winter.
Another great video. Happy New Year!
Thank you Thank you!!! 😊. Happy New Year to you as well. Stay Safe!
Love the content! Great weather to hunker down in :)
It really was! Thank you for being here!
So glad that rangers were close by just in case you were stuck out there. I love the beautiful scenery.
Yes, they knew exactly where we were, and...it wasn't far for cell phone service. :).
I cant explain it all .I just know how peaceful I am after listening to your channel.@@WingsandWheelsAlaska

great aerial shots with the drone. Love it till next time.
Glad you enjoyed it! More to come for sure!
Thank you for your continued excellent visual storytelling! The videography, music, narration, and editing are all very well done. But more than that, the message is always deeply introspective and compelling. There is something really special going on here, and I’m grateful to tag along on the journey.
Thanks again
Namaste✨

Beautiful Jesus says we have a new day everyday within him , how wonderful and marvellous. Thank you Jesus and ty for sharing Alaskan winter :)

I love your beautiful videos and calming voice. Will you ever take your travels to the lower 48? Happy New Year!
Hi! Yes! We took it through Canada up to Alaska and our plan was to return to the lower 48 with two trips planned during Covid. We're here in Alaska until it's safe to travel and explore through Canada again. Thank you for being here with us. 😁
