Fun fact/just in case you didn't find out after: there is a rail under that front grip thing. On the left side of the grip is 2 or 3 screws, and if you unscrew them it gives you a rail that looks similar to the old Stampede lower rail
@@GigglyGoblin It has the same rails as blasters like the Spectrum, Matrixfire, Blitzfire, etc. which I believe is a standardized rail format similar to picatinny so you could probably buy an actual fore grip or at least use the one from the Matrixfire.
I found it interesting when Not Nuff Nerf reviewed this blaster he ran Duracell Lithium (6 x 1.8V) and was hitting right at 110 fps. He ran the same batteries in the Spectrum and hit only about 95 fps. Definitely a sound difference in the motors too. DZ is listening and making improvements not just reshells.
I genuinely think this blaster is so important. It’s still such a powerful thing to be able to go to a store and get a semi auto blaster that hits 100-110 FPS, as well as a stock and sights, for $25. It is an incredibly inexpensive way to build a functional HvZ loadout that will deliver the hits.
I plan to invest in one of these. I have experience in this hobby for quite a while, but I've never actually owned a Dart Zone blaster in my collection. But for the first one, I think the Thunderbolt is a good place to start. 100+ FPS, N-Strike Stock compatibility, and a cool 15 dart magazine, I think I might purchase one, if a Thunderbolt is available.
Def a solid blaster. I’ll always be a fan of the stryfe because I was around for its birth but just from a performance stand point. Out of the box this beats a stryfe. Plus considering the stryfes steady price increase over time and lack of availability anymore, this is certainly a terrific option for someone who just wants a decent blaster without getting into the “pro” lines or spending a fortune. I really like the stock too. Wish it folded but that’s getting pretty fancy I know. it’s awesome it can take so many different stock options and it’s current one looks pretty solid already.
Definitely a cool shell and a worthy successor to the Spectrum. Now to do a LiPo/motor/wheel upgrade and find a way to shove an auto-stryfe kit in it 🤔
@@CaptainXavier no but anything that can fit a pro adapter should be able to fit a strive adapter, at least in theory I will probably be picking one up for myself.
N Strike stock attachment to buffer tube conversion, injection molded? That piece right there is a game changer all on its own. I want like... three of them. Hang on a second. The N Strike stock to buffer tube adapter from Worker is $20. A 15 round banana mag from Worker is $20. This blaster, with everything, ships for... $25. It's literally worth buying even if you keep the stock and magazine and throw the rest away. ....I'm driving to Target right now.
Our community kiddy nerf wars are in the 130 to 150 fps range in my country. 100fps is just nice for school games where they have a father and son bonding event where the blasters they use are stock elite range.

For real? That’s pretty cool. Nice little feature actually.
It definitely needs an adapter of some form, but it can somewhat be used with a Nerf grip
Good lord! Way to go DartZone! They really do understand the assignment!
@@CaptainXavierYes they do! Definitely my favorite blaster brand these days

Internally it is a spectrum…so far cages, pushers and triggers I’ve tried have all fit 🤘🏻
Perrrrrfect. Not gonna lie, I like the shapes on this blaster much better than the spectrum, this one will be the one I kit out.

worker sells a mag adaptor specifically for flywheelers, it seems like the thunderbolt was designed for it!

I genuinely love those magazines. While im a modulus guy, i can absolutely see why people love this blaster.
Got my self one, as somebody who is somewhat new to modding I love it since it’s like a pre-modded stryfe
Dart zone keeping it going.
I'm tempted to buy an angled talon mag and its adapter to test if it will work without further mods.
I have one here somewhere...
I know the spectrum pusher would push short darts, just not well. You really have to snap the trigger to get them into the flywheels
Worker styfe magazine adapter may work

I like that your logo is on the trigger. And I have used the Nexus pro, the spectrum, so this one would be a good game piece.
Hey Captain X you can attach airsoft or real steel scopes to that style of rail quite securely
Hey Capt'n....Thanks for the "Fip's" 🤠👍
“FPS” you mean🤣
Fps stands for feet per second
This is an old video, so just want to add, there is a short dart pusher mod, and you can load in short darts with the worker front load adapter.
I'm surprised you don't have the worker flywheel talon adapter that has it all the way forward.
I want to see it converted to half dart!

Captain you should try an angled talon using the angled talon mag adapter has the magazine closer to the flywheel, Kage
It looks Super Swell, and really Neat.
Have you tried using lithium AA batteries with it? Does that get more FPS out of the motors?
All 3 that I got hit highs of 110-115 fps on just regular old alkaline Duracells.
I don’t know whether to get a thunderbolt or a spectrum, I do have a lot of blasters from Walmart so maybe the thunderbolt.
Awesome video!
I wonder if using the angled mag convertor would work to bring the darts as close to the cage as your wanting?
I tried, it does not. It would require a little more modding to make it work.
take off the grey grip and it's a rail underneath
I think I may have found a solution: a worker strife adapter?
Have you tried it?
@@CaptainXavier no but anything that can fit a pro adapter should be able to fit a strive adapter, at least in theory I will probably be picking one up for myself.
@@CaptainXavier also the worker flywheel adapters are mostly all the way forward.
From my own experience with the Villainator you can use picatinny optics and attachments on the rail with no issues

Dart Zone Thunderbolt Cap. X trigger edition! That name would sell more! 😁
It’s not a precursor, it’s a successor.
how do I get one in Australia
I’ll ship you one if you want it??!
Try a Stryfe/Rapid Red worker half dart mag adapter.
Is there an adapter for this to take half darts?
Not that I am aware of. There probably will be eventually.
ok, can you post me a link when you find one?@@CaptainXavier
It's green. I need one lol
How would the half-darts work with this blaster?
EDIT: Nevermind, you answered my question already
I would imagine mostly the same...but with shorter darts.
You could put the nerf modulus tri strike rock launcher on this
Does it have Nerf rail on the top?
Nice Shirt^^
Bro had a nerf gun range💀
But kan it take a k26
Do you know anyone that ho does good commissions for a decent price
I do builds, fairly priced. I charge what I have in them plus a little for the time. I have a modified Thunderbolt up on Mercari.
Can I get a estimate for a commission
@@Kd11dabesteverit all depends on the blaster and what goes into it.
