I can't wait for first human trial to help me rewind my age. I'm almost 50. I hate getting old. I want to go back to 21 years old again and feel exactly 21 again and get the energy back 21 again. :)

I would do anything to look younger. I don't wanna live forever but I hate looking old. Most men like young women and I hate being 27. They say I have hit the wall. I can't even imagine what happens when I turn 30. Experiment on me, I would do anything and test any gene therapy if there is even a small chance of looking younger. If you need volunteers I am up.
Are you, being 27, looking for a boyfriend among teenagers? Most normal men would never look for a teenager girlfriend except those who are pedo or teenagers themselves.

This is genius. It is necessary to perfect this technology to the end and make it accessible to everyone.Many people suffer from the diseases of old age and this salvation would be for them.
It is genius but costly. Also, the threat (or side effect) is still unknown. The information on the progress in this area has been suspended due to unknown reason. I can guess that someone who is very rich and who care about overpopulation of our planet paid to this company to keep a silence.
One of the gene therapies Ms Parrish undertook was for follistatin (which downregulates myostatin and increases muscle mass). Follistatin is expressed in the ovaries. I keep hoping that in one of her interviews she will discuss her health in more detail, including her reproductive health. It's personal information, of course, but it would help to know more.

I don't think that gene modification for the purpose of reducing biological age will happen in the foreseeable future, let's not fool ourselves. Most likely it would be used only to treat extreme medical conditions (children, blind, quadriplegics, etc.) when nothing else works, but I don't think it would ever be used to reverse natural aging process to extend life span in general population.
@@larapo8691 money talks, theyll have monthly pills or treatments that you can have a lifetime subscription. Whats better than a product that last forever, its better than the medicines they have now that keep you perpetually sick until you die.

Bill Andrews has been vocal about not using leukocyte telomere length as a measurement of telomere attrition, so why did Liz say those were the tests done for her? Why not other kind of tests that more accurately assess telomere length? Or were those tests done alongside leukocyte length and had scores analyzed as well.
Bill Andrews was peripherally involved. It is "a study" but not a definitive study. They did the study that they could do.

The video title was about Gene Therapy for Human Ageing | Elizabeth Parrish, so why does this start out with NAD and mice ovarian aging? Seems nothing to do with the telomerase gene therapy that Parrish had.
I’d like to see a talk with her and Ray Kurzweil. Kurzweil predicts longevity escape velocity around 2030 because of nanotechnology that would enable treatment delivery on a cellular level. I’d like to hear how Liz’s treatments could interact with that technology to give even better results.
Peter Diamandis has spoken at length about the convergence of disruptive technologies, and their expotential effect on the rate of progress in the field of biotech. Well worth checking out some of his talks if you havent done so already.
Check out "Immortalists" and you'll see the two main views overlap and from different sides. Bill Andrews is an excellent resource.
Do these technologies just extend life, or do they also preserve physical youthfulness? There wouldn't be much point in living for 200, 500 or 1,000 years if you were still decrepit by 80 and remained that way for centuries.
From what I've seen these treatments are more focused on health span and keeping people healthy and functional. The extension of years of life appears to be a side effect of intercepting/repairing the cellular damage.

Age reversal by -20 years, but you have to take it every 20 years. Liz Parrish is currently involved with a monthly nasal spray using a different (but safe) viral vector that makes no genetic changes. I'm a bit crazier and went for eternal youth with no addition treatments required.

We are sure because her biomarkers changed to the level of younger people. It was verified by blood tests.
She is not the only one, David Sinclair is another biologist who is creating a lifespan. The problem is the overpopulation in this planet, so the population will go higher with a long lifespan. Good for people but very bad for the planet. Too much contamination, pollution, etc

I have attended a lot of medical congresses and she does not present any comprehensive scientific concept. She is just stringing together random buzzwords which sound exciting. Sorry, but I think this could be fraud.
