I wanted to start a Simon's Bowblade Run of my own the other day and found, while using the untransformed saw spear, I could do the same thing as Dis2 does with the axe but instead of a charged r2, I r1'd twice, then after his back step his AI would always transform back into blade and do a slow swing, allowing a quick lock on into pistol shot into visceral.
The bow blade is my favorite weapon, my go to weapon with the hunter of hunters blades (forget their name) being just under. It gives much needed range as well as the quick transform shot, as well as an ability to drop any enemy into visceral state by a shot to the back
@@huskytzu7709 I don't remember, I haven't played in a while and I never min maxed. It isn't too difficult to see when you hit soft cap though, it's skill for the blade and bloodtinge for the bow. If you can get the viscerals refill quicksilver and are good at those I reccomend building bloodtinge first. If you're better with melee go skill. Endurance is gonna be your best friend either way, the greater your ability to combo and move the better.

Why use this weapon if you didn't use the special aspect that sets it apart from other weapons? I would have really enjoyed a bloodtinge speed run with the bowblade.
Might not be worth it for speedruns, but you could grab the rune tool after witch of hemwick and use the blood rapture rune from the 3 ninjas., V.ATKs restore HP +200 would be useful since you do that several times per boss.
Ray Monger Pure Bloodtinge and Vitality build makes the bow form pretty neat, especially if you’re using the Lost version with 2 “out of shape” Bloodtinge gems.

Bloodborne is better than dark souls 3 but barely, Ds3 pvp is trash and I liked the faster mechanics in bb, my complaints in bloodborne is not enough weapons and the bosses are too easy.

the saw cleaver is iconic to me, but the axe has an r2 that knocks down large enemies, including phase 2 gascoigne.
BladeChild axe is better for me bc I love the stagger and crowd control of the 2h form

Bowblade sucks anyways. My Ludwig has an ar of 830. The bowblade can barely reach an ar of 450

Sometimes its faster to not. The animation can take a while, but using r1 may do more dps.

It's not just the upgrades, that kills bosses faster. Every time you die, enemies are getting stronger
Enemies don't get stronger when you die. That happened in Demon's Souls, but not Bloodborne. Maybe your weapon got broken.
