I love the design of this case. I was torn between the Fractal Mood, Fractal Era 2 and this Liam Li A3 case.....I just bought the A3. Great overview of the case. Thanks. Subscribed !
That's a very nice build. I'm done with SFF builds (my fingers are too fat, my eyes are too weak, and my wallet is too thin) -- but if I was going to build another one, this is the case I would use. (It looks a lot like my H2101, except that it's smaller and the wood on the front is styled a bit differently. And mine has a glass side panel, ofc.)
I have a love/hate relationshiop with small cases, because always my hand get some cuts and bruises hahaha. But this one is going on the desk, I love it 😁
I can assure you that nobody moved on from the rgb trend.. Wood cases are a tiny niche. Thats like saying we moved on from houses to live in vans. We didnt. Some people are just very strange.
Pre-ordered it here in the EU. Awaiting shipment at the beginning of October. Meanwhile, I'm trying to figure out the maximum total thickness of the top 360mm radiator plus fans, but haven't had any luck. Nobody seems to mention this.
You are not limited by this, and I know why you ask, possibly you want Arctic Liquid Freezer III or similar, has thicker rad and fans, doable, but you need to lower the PSU then, rear fan is ok, can be lowered as well. So the problem is not the AIO thickness and fan thicknes, but rather which PSU you are using and will it interfere with the GPU in that scenario...
@@LevelUPGamingTech That's why I chose the Thermaltake Toughpower SFX 1000W Platinum. I wanted to stick with an SFX PSU and avoid going bigger to accommodate beefier radiator(s). However, could the RAM cause any limitations?
Shouldn't be an issue I mean there is around 2cm of space left with regular 360 and regular sized RAM, if you use low profile RAM you eliminate every risk of it gettgin in the way. But let me get back to you later when I get home, I want to see from the top if radiator overhangs the RAM
@@ivica7092 Thanks for the heads-up. I actually saw that build and started looking for a motherboard with the least bulky I/O shield. But after checking out all the boards, I realized that trimming or filing them down wouldn’t be a problem at all. So, I decided to ignore that and went with the ASRock B650M PG RIPTIDE WIFI. However, I couldn’t find a clear answer or detailed photos/videos regarding the RAM clearance. I guess I’ll just have to wait for the case and motherboard to arrive and measure the clearance for the RAM myself.
Great video. I am a little surprised that almost every reviewer chose to use a 360ml AIO and a large PSU, since this causes a double limitation on future GPU upgrades (triple if you include a motherboard with a 2nd slot PCIE location). I have all my components purchased (just waiting for the wood case to be available in Canada) and will be using a 240mm AIO with an SFX psu in the top-most position, as well as a motherboard with the top slot PCIE... aka an easy fit for a 4090 or really any other GPU of the "future".. Do you know if there is any way to mount a front 120mm fan if one was to use the PSU as I'm planning (SFX + the top-most position)? I see there are no screws specifically designed for that, but perhaps with zip ties? Thanks!
We chose to put 360 to show that it fits and it's actually better than air in tiny spaces. Anyhow front fans use "zip screws" 😉😀 I am doing another build in it with a 1st slot GPU position and will be adding fans on the bottom and use it as my secondary PC 🤘
140mm fans in the bottom do not fit. The holes do not line up. Not sure why people say this. Also, why no one ever talks about a AiO cooler's fan hitting the VRM heatsink /IO is beyond me. It's a constant issue in builds I've done. I had to use a slim fan on my Trinity 2 Performance.
That's why I mentioned several times to do your research on what can fit in the case as it has so much limitations for various hardware and hw combos 😉 Great case but you need to be careful what you put in and so on 👍
You can see even bigger temps at some points because always Windows decides to do either the update or scan for viruses if you leave it... You can notice this in a lot of my videos. Sometimes you will see even bigger temps and such on the AIO. Also there's the fact that it is still super hot here and ambient temp is 28C 😂 So again, 45 is the real idle temp when ambient temp is normalized to 25 with AC 👌
thank you! i plan to use the Corsair RM850x PSU which is at 160mm length, so it should fit a Gigabyte GeForce RTX 4080 SUPER GAMING OC which is 342mm length, right?
Hey, I have a pretty beefy GPU as well (a ftw3 card) and am probably not gonna have that extra space available to use fans since i use a pci wifi card. I found this one to have way faster speeds than a wifi motherboard, so how do you get intake fans in this case? do you rely on the 3 fans on the card?
How would u get round fitting a MSI 4090 Suprim X Liquid? Im trying to figure out what to do with the dual fans and heatsink since i already have a 360 AIO too
@@LevelUPGamingTech Indeed I wood. 😋 I have a custom walnut front panel on my (black) NZXT H210i though, and I love it. It just pops. It wasn't cheap, but I think it was worth it. 👍🏼

this will be good combo with Noctua classic fans
Oh yeah 👍

So I got your attention 😁
That statement was sarcastic btw of course RGB is still a thing and will be for some time...

No it won’t fit arctic freezer III! Too thick. Mr.matt Lee has a build video on it. Sad to see it too late, but you don’t need to throw money away

Does noctua with 87,5 mm thiknes ever fit, even without fans?

Do you know if the wood panel will be sold separately soon?
@@sam-bj2hp I don't honestly. Maybe it wood be sold separately since you already have glass panel and vertical GPU kits sold separately 😀
@@LevelUPGamingTech Thant's what i'm thinking asw ^^
think they said they will starting in Oct
@@chesian yup I saw that :)
I saw it was announced btw, for October release I think 🤔
6:04 Not ture. D15 G2 is 168mm in height, this case takes up to 165mm as their descriptions.
Fits without side bracket
@@LevelUPGamingTechThank you for the clarification. But I wouldn'tcall this without any issues😂

This one is mff not sff
Is it possible to switch the AIO to the top? That would be more convenient for a pc mount set up
yes you can put 360mm aio on top. you may want to go with a sfx psu depending how long you're gpu is.
hey man, whats the AIO connected with that pc? seems pretty big is there any room for it to wiggle around?
DeepCool Mystique 360, fits even with wiggle room to move it around an inch or so
Wood buy if I needed a small form factor case 🙂
I see what you did there 😅
45C idle, but the whole time it says 49C on aio screen, and that's with side panel off. so what are real temps?

In that case yes, direct intake from the GPU and it exhausts it through the mesh side. Additional intake via the side bracket with at least 1 fan
Matx all the way
Yes
So when is it getting released ?
Yesterday 😉
@@LevelUPGamingTech damn, i can't find it anywhere in france :(
Should come up these days it is available at Caseking so order it from Germany 😉

Too long and cheap plastic retention clips for side panels.

Tough love I guess... Maybe it can fit on the side bracket, I mean the radiator, but that could end up being a costly experiment if it does not fit.
