The lead singer, Michael Monroe is one of the best performers on the earth. He's still very energetic, very flexible, and plays multiple instruments. I just love him. Saw him last a few years ago at a music festival in Finland.
I'm so glad you guys are checking out more and more Hanoi Rocks. They were a big influence on 80's glam in the USA and the UK. Most notably, Guns n Roses and Skid Row.🤘
You guys seem to be so high when you make reaction videos every rock'n'roll sound good for you 🤭 But yeah Hanoi Rocks was super awesome back in the days and their energy was top notch. And Michael looked so pretty. The best glam rock/punk band ever.
Are we talking about the air in the sneakers..? Because the Finnish sports equipment company Karhu put air into sneakers in 1976 before Nike did, would you believe? They also were the first company to use nylon in sneakers and in 1952 they sold the three stripes trademark to Adidas. Couple of songs from Hanoi Rocks guitarist McCoy's earlier band Briard. Travis can probably relate: "Briard - Miss World" and "Briard - Teenage Blues".
Air Hanois would be tiger paws that Mike used to wear at least in the 2000`s on stage. But damn they were good, at the time most finns were like Erkki Junkkarinen-Ruusuja hopeamaljassa:)
Finland is no Scandinavia. We are really something very special, in good and in bad. Scandis had their vikings but they had no way to come here or at least to leave alive. Sweden and Russia as their own time's superpowers never could really have us under control. But thank God we have mostly been more to west than east.
My favorite band ever. Only thing in my bucket list is to watch them live, but unfortunately it probably won't happen! This is a nice tune, but not one of their absolute best in my opinion. The bass in the intro is nice - good choice to highlight it.
@@fragdance thx, didn't know that already. Seen him live with the copters and thought, he's paid for the miles he's running on stage not for the notes💜
About 10 years or more ago i watched Andy and Mike buing stuff in South part of Helsinki. They said that almost best outware comes in ladys shops. Not all but mostly. I know Andy and he is a bit strange. He is just too messed up but he can still play. Mike i dont know but he has more better touch ovelall in life. Both are stilll rocking. Bands like Skid Row and Guns and Roses were highly influed this band. Almost copied the recepie. Dont mind at all they both are/were great bands.
Shakespeare did this already: Much ado about nothing. They certainly can create a lot of flamboyant noice but it’s just a collection of worn out cliches…🙁 Where’s the originality or creativity?🙄
When this was released in February 1981, the guys in Hanoi Rocks were 18-19 years old.

Hanoi Rocks is killing it with this song. 😎 They are freaking awesome. 🤘

Yes, Hanoi! They have so many good songs. If you want to watch another music video, watch boulevard of broken dreams.
Vince Niel from Mötley Crüe was driving the car mentioned in your video. Razz was the passeger
Monroe told he saw Vince Neil for first time in almost 40 years this summer in Finland when Mötley Crue was here
And few years later Andy McCoy saved Nikki Sixx's life
Andy used to fall down and rock like that. He didn't slip. He threw him self down. He's a legend. Still is today. The whole band Rock
Holy crap, that takes me back. Listen to Hanoi rock back then. 16 years old in 1981 and grew up in Sweden...
as I am still in Vietnam and lived in Hanoi for 10+ years I thought I better watch this... PS Hanoi does Rock!
Hey! Nice of you to watch this somewhat obscure finnish band! Great video. Such a shame what happened to them.
Btw this song is one of my favourites of all time. Love Hanoi Rocks! ❤

If you get time watch the live from the marquee 1983. What a gig. Epic band in there prime. So sad poor Razzle died in a car accident

A Day Late, a Dollar Short from them is well worth a listen

I forgot about these guys. If I remember right I think this band is from Scandinavia
They are from Finland

Michael Monroe is still going strong.

🇫🇮
Yeah😊, guitarist reminds me Dregen from Hellacopters
I'm sure you know, but later Dregen played with Michael Monroe (including Sam Jaffa on bass)
@@fragdance thx, didn't know that already.

React to Von Hertzen Brothers - New Day Rising...another band from Finland.
Have you reacted to new Michael Monroe?
