Hanoi Rocks are legends!!! 🤘🤘🤘 The singer Michael Monroe is still going on very strong releasing brilliant albums and touring. His latest album Michael Monroe - I Live Too Fast To Die Young! (2022) is a killer album.
Hanoi Rocks are so freaking awesome! Their back catalogue pre 85 is amazing. Tragedy is another rocking track you should check out.🤘
Yes, the most hidden gem from my hometown Helsinki, Finland.
I was 17, and this was my first Hanoi Rocks gig. What a band.
Fun fact: Welcome to the jungle title has been taken from Hanoi Rocks song Underwater world. Also you can spot guitarist Nasty Suicide in Paradise city music video.
I love Hanoi Rocks, the greatest Finnish rock band there was. Greetings from Sweden
Known them since 1982 i was a huge fan of hanoi rocks❤
Amazing band..one of the first to take the influence of uk glam rock and mix it with punk..like a less sloppy version of the New York Dolls..MASSIVE influence on the glam metal scene musically and visually..truly a tragedy what happened to them..PLEASE do check out more of their songs!
I once fell up the stairs at The Whisky A Go Go in Hollywood, because I saw Mike Monroe up there... He came and helped me up and continued to hold my hand for about 2 hours. I didn't care that my shin hurt and that I really had to pee, and I just let him hold my hand. BTW, he smelled soooooo good! ❤️
They was coming up, sad story, I remember that 🤘😎🤘🙏
Hanoi rocks ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Love Hanoi Rocks….check out the video of their cover of CCR’s classic Up Around The Bend……🤘🏻
Try there songs Tragedy,Dont u ever leave me, Tooting bec wreck , Underwater world, Oriental beat ,Motorvatin or Million miles away
Under rated band. Check out "Malibu Beach" and "Taxi Driver".
Have seen both Hanoi Rocks and Michael Monroe various times over the years (Hanoi only once sadly) but MM last just last year, still just a ball of energy and so damn entertaining. Brilliant rock and roll. Legend!!
Please react to Million Miles Away. After Razzle had died, they dedicated this song to him. Fantastic song with a saxophone solo by the lead singer, Michael Monroe. One of their most popular ones
More Hanoi!
From the song "Under Water World"
"Welcome to the ocean, welcome to the sea, WELCOME TO THE JUNGLE, deep inside of me"... (Yes Axl will admit, that is where the line came from)
in my opinion the best song is their song after razzle died.......... thousand miles away........... it is such sad song but so much love for the razzle, even its no saying that by itself
Dont forget the 20' century records!!!!!
Would be cool if you did a series of Hanoi Rocks.. this particular concert is great and has a good sound.
LOVE THIS BAND!!! I had the same look on my face as you did the first time I heard this band....I was like...How do I not know this band???? Until 1998
Love Hanoi Rocks
Michael Monroe is a Frontman’s Frontman. His love for 70’s Glam Rock especially Mott the Hoople Check out Michael Monroe singing Taxi Driver “Live”
I like the way you're thinkin'. More Hanoi Rocks, more viewers. :DS
Got into Hanoi back in 2001. My first album was 12 shots to the rocks.
Razzle is that 🥁 R.I.P Razzle we miss you😢
I saw them a couple of times back in the early 80's and again when they reformed in the late 90's/early '00's. They are still one of the best live bands I've ever seen. You have to check out Malibu Beach Nightmare from the same Marquee 1983 gig.
This band was one of the biggest influences on Axl and Guns N’ Roses, and they would’ve been huge bigger than Mötley Crüe, RNR, if razzle never died
Apparently they were big fans of New York Dolls and the Stones. You can see that visually, but musically not in the least. This song sounds like contemporary The Clash, but maybe that's because the genre was popular in England at the time.
Back in 89 I was dating a guy who loved Poison, Alice Cooper, White Snake etc, and I tried to get him to check out my Hanoi Rocks cds. He wouldn't even put them in the player, because what did *I* know? Then he wants to introduce me to "newcomer" Michael Monroe...smh
Check out Andy’s post Hanoi stuff, Strung Out is a great song
Ah I miss my Glam Punk Dayz. 😎
LEAVE THEM WOLVES BE!!!
Some Ramones vibes
Michael Monroe breakout Album in 1989 features Slash on the Track “Dead Jail or Rock N Roll. Great Album with Mott the Hoople’s Ian Hunter contributing.
listen tragedy
Love them!
