    13:08 Learn more about fat-soluble vitamins!
    Today we’re going to talk about the best time of day to take vitamins. These results can vary from person to person, so overall, you’ll have to test things out and see what works best for you and your schedule. You’ll still notice plenty of benefits however you choose to take your vitamins.
    There are two types of vitamins: water-soluble vitamins and fat-soluble vitamins. Fat-soluble vitamins can be absorbed better if taken with fat or before a meal. But, if you’re fasting, you can take vitamins whenever.
    Cod liver oil:
    Cod liver oil is a great source of fat-soluble vitamins, and you can consume cod liver oil anytime. However, it may be best not to take it right before bed.
    Vitamin E:
    Vitamin E should be taken in the form of tocotrienols and is great to take with meals.
    Phytonutrients:
    Many phytonutrients are fat soluble, and this is why it’s great to have olive oil on your salad because it will help extract more phytonutrients. Take phytonutrient supplements and wheatgrass juice with a meal for better extraction.
    Betaine hydrochloride:
    Betaine hydrochloride should be taken right before a meal.
    Digestive enzymes:
    Digestive enzymes should be taken before a meal.
    Bile salts or products with bile:
    Bile salts can be better taken right after a meal.
    What to take on an empty stomach:
    • TUDCA
    • Activated charcoal
    • Bentonite clay
    • Individual amino acids
    • Trace minerals
    What to take before bed:
    • Calcium
    • Magnesium
    • Probiotics
    • Vitamin D3
    • Vitamin B1
    • Detox herbs
    • Apple cider vinegar
    What to take in the morning
    • Electrolyte powder
    • Vitamin B12
    • Stimulatory herbs

    Super helpful. In the morning I take a glass of water with apple cider vinegar and lemon water mixed with some psyllium husks and inulin powder all in the single large glass of water. Then I have blueberries and an avocado and a carrot and celery stalk. Then I take 15 supplements along with 20 superfoods powders in a glass with carrot juice, V8 juice, green smoothie, and kombacha. Then I have a handful of blanched almonds. With that routine each morning I am born again and feel fantastic within an hour of waking up no matter what I did the night before. All of those healthy foods and supplements and powders keeps me in perfect health even as a senior and I am still slim. Then I do 25 pushups, 25 situps, 1 minute plank, and 15 minutes of rebounding, which is healthier for you than an hour of jogging (according to NASA studied on rebounders for astronauts).

    I take the D3/K2 with Mg because this combo seems to help me sleep. So many of your videos have lifesaving information Dr. Berg. Thank you!! As a video suggestion how about more on sarcopenia. All of us who live long enough will deal with life-threatening frailty. Prior to my father’s death, at 79 he was stuck in his tub all day because he didn’t realize he wasn’t strong enough to pull himself out. So ideas on how to stay strong might interest your fans. I’ve started using your Keto Essentials Aminos for the leucine. To save muscle I am also taking creatine, lifting weights, and have decreased fat a bit to increase protein intake. Thinking about going from OMAD to TMAD for optimal protein absorption. In any event, thank you for all your help.

      @@curiouscat3384 Thanks for the reply. Sarcopenia is more involved than that. It starts around 40 and (in my understanding) has a lot to do with increased protein need. I've been lifting and a fitness buff since I was 30 yet they'll come a day when without a multifaceted approach involving protein and supplements I might not be strong enough to get out of a bathtub. That's why I was wondering about adding an extra meal to increase protein absorption.

    I would like to know how many vitamins are okay to take at any given time. I see some of my vitamins have some of the same components. Most of my vitamins are from your store. They are wonderful. Dr berg can you please make a video on weight gain? I’ve dealt with a fast metabolism all my life & I’m currently 10lbs underweight due to my job requiring miles of walking daily. You’ve helped me resolve many health complications therefore I know I can put my trust into your advice rather than the bodybuilders telling people drink sugar powder and buy as much of the cheapest unhealthiest foods they can find.

      I gained 16kg (1.58m, 46kg -> 62) mostly by sugar and beef. My blood pressure is better and my allergy symptoms are alleviated. There was time that I eat a lot without gaining weights, probably because my body was still lacking everything (I practiced fasting for about 10 years for my brain can be focused on my work). However, after that, my weight is lifted fast uncontrollably :)) After I had enough weight, I try to add vitamins from fruits and vegetables. Now I still unable to breathe during spring, but hope I can have a normal healthy life later.

    Hi Dr. Berg, I’ve recently discovered your channel. Thank for the the great videos. I’ve started to have warm lemon water with sea salt after i wake up. No caffeine in the first 90 minutes after waking. 2 hours later, I’ll have super greens in water. I also drink about 10oz of water on average for every hour for first 12 hours of the day. At night i just started ACV/Lemon each day for the last 4 days with lemon and 14oz of water after my last meal. What would you recommend for acv causing irritation at the back of my throat? Switch to pill form or diluted or have earlier in the day? 🙏

    Hello Dr. Berg. I recently came across your videos. VERY good information. Thank you. You mentioned Tudca. I've got a lot of digestive problems and am wanting to try it. Was wondering how many Mg you suggest per pill or dosage? Also does it matter what type or brand of Tudca? Thanks and keep the info coming.

    • @MyrtleBeachWebAngel
      @MyrtleBeachWebAngel ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I just started talking Tudca as well. I decided to go with NutriCost 250mg (Amazon) twice a day. Once on an empty stomach to clear out the sludge, then once with food and most of my fat soluble vitamins to help with absorption. 🌻🐝

    • @lostinmo9644
      @lostinmo9644 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@MyrtleBeachWebAngel Yeah, that was what I was looking at also. it was a toss-up between NutriCost 250mg and the NutriVein Premium Tudca+ which has a liver detox in it. But I didn't like that the NutriVein didn't tell how much of each (Milk thistle extract and Tudca) there was in each pill. How is the Tudca doing for you?

    • @MyrtleBeachWebAngel
      @MyrtleBeachWebAngel ปีที่แล้ว +5

      @@lostinmo9644 I literally just got it several days ago so I'm not sure yet, but I can say I have had no side effects whatsoever whether I take it on an empty stomach or with a meal. I decided to do the same thing and just go with a single ingredient because if there were any side effects, I wouldn't really know what caused them. I also went with the 250mg vs the 500mg because I knew I'd be taking it twice a day and didn't want to overdo something I had no experience with. So far, so good! I think it's going to be a great addition from all the research I've read up on. I hope it's good for you too.
